The security company nominally has over a hundred employees, but fewer than twenty are demobilized special forces soldiers. When Fang Hai heard Fang Yang say that he wanted to select a few from this group to make a movie, he jumped up happily on the spot, "Xiao Yang, I never thought I, Fang Hai, would have a day when I'm a star! Just tell me, how do you want to choose?"
"Let's gather everyone together first. You should also ask them if they're willing, shouldn't you?"
Fang Hai exclaimed, "Of course we'd be willing! Who wouldn't want to be in the limelight and live under the spotlight, especially with all the money to be made? Wouldn't it be foolish not to?"
Fang Yang said impatiently, "You know that you have to show your face in public, and not everyone is willing to do so. If I tell you to find someone, then go find them. Stop babbling on and on. I don't know where you learned that from!"
After being yelled at by Fang Yang, Fang Hai immediately became obedient and turned to walk towards the training base, muttering to himself, "Are they stupid? Such a good opportunity, how could anyone not want to go? How is that possible?"
Fang Yang shook his head. In this vast world, how could everyone have the same thoughts? Some people like to be active, while others prefer to be quiet. The nine sons of the dragon are all different. Even if everyone wants to go, they still need to ask for other people's opinions. This is the most basic respect. Fang Hai doesn't even understand this. I don't know how he became a special forces soldier back then.
In less than half an hour, eighteen retired special forces soldiers gathered in front of the headquarters building. Even though they had retired, their military bearing remained unchanged. The eighteen men stood in two neat rows in the square in front of the building, waiting for Fang Yang's inspection.
Fang Yang, who had just come out of the headquarters building for inspection, saw this scene at a glance. He smiled slightly and thought, "Soldiers are soldiers. Even if they have retired, they are still just as disciplined."
"Hello everyone, I am Fang Yang. Some of you may know me, and some may not, but it doesn't matter, now you all know me."
Fang Yang chuckled and didn't let Fang Hai introduce him. His self-introduction made the soldiers burst into laughter, and the scene didn't seem so serious anymore.
"I don't know if your Minister Fang has told you, but the company is planning to film a TV series and a movie about special forces. I thought there was no need to go to such lengths. You are all former special forces soldiers, so playing special forces soldiers should be a natural performance for you. There shouldn't be any major problems. At most, you might need some special training in movement or facial expressions, and then you should be able to perform. Of course, that doesn't mean everyone can perform like that. You will still need to go to the company for special training. Those with acting talent can stay, while the rest will have to come back here and continue your work."
"Of course, before that, we still need to ask for your opinions. Those who are willing to go can sign up for the special training. Those who are not willing to go can stay. However, we will select actors. After participating in the film performance, you can still choose to either film while working and then come back to continue working, or to become a professional actor. You can choose freely. The company does not force you to."
Fang Yang's words sounded utterly absurd to everyone. They had always heard that professional things should be done by professionals, and that actors must undergo professional training and a long period of study and refinement before they could have a chance to make a name for themselves. But Fang Yang only needed a little over half a month of professional training to be brought into the film crew. I'm afraid even the script wouldn't be written like that!
Seeing the incredulous looks on everyone's faces, Fang Yang laughed and said, "Don't underestimate yourselves. Acting really does depend on talent. Take Liu Hua from Hong Kong, for example. He's a movie star now, but he never had any professional drama training. He was just a high school graduate. Due to the pressure of life, he went to work as a handyman on film sets. He did everything to make a living and endured a lot of hardship. But he was determined and kept learning and practicing his basic skills. In just a few years, he rose to prominence and became a leading actor. What does this show? Talent + hard work = success."
Everyone knew about Liu Hua's situation. When it was first exposed, people just treated it as entertainment and quickly moved on. But now that it involves their own interests, Fang Yang's words have led to different interpretations. They are all human, and Liu Hua's qualifications were even worse than others—he only graduated from high school. But those who can join the special forces are not simple. Everyone has studied facial expression management, psychological management, and even makeup. While they may not be masters, they can certainly convincingly portray any character without paying special attention.
Compared to the others, Fang Hai was the most enthusiastic. "I'll sign up first. I won't go for the professional actor part, but I still really like being on TV often. I think it's very challenging."
Fang Yang nodded. "Then, if Big Brother counts, who else wants to participate?"
The first few people who came with Fang Hai exchanged glances and took a step forward. "Since Fang Hai wants to go, as his brothers, we will naturally support him unconditionally. Let's count ourselves in too."
"I'm going too! I didn't expect there would be such perks for working in security. Maybe the captain will see my dashing figure on TV tomorrow. That would be awesome!"
"It's definitely awesome! I never thought I could be a special forces soldier again after going home, even if it's just in a TV series. Haha, my comrades are probably so envious."

The scene got a bit out of control, like a noisy market. As the saying goes, some people like it and some people don't. In the end, six people refused to act. As for the reason, Fang Yang didn't ask. They were all special forces soldiers, but their locations and natures were different. For safety reasons, there were quite a few who didn't want to be in the limelight.
