Fang Yang was conflicted, especially as he saw the applause gradually subsiding. He feared that once the applause stopped, Luo Hu would begin to leave the stage.
But what excuse should he use to go on stage? That's a problem, considering this is a live broadcast. If the organizers determine it's a live broadcast accident, Fang Yang won't be able to explain himself even if he's in the right.
Fang Yang felt that going on stage now would be the best opportunity, but if he waited half an hour to sing, he might be suspected of trying to boost his popularity.
Seeing that Luo Hu was about to leave the stage with the trophy, Fang Yang disregarded everything and stood up abruptly. "Brother Luo, can I say a few words to you?"
Luo Hu, who worked in the field year-round, naturally didn't recognize Fang Yang. Upon hearing this, he stopped, looked at Fang Yang, then at He Jiu, unsure how to respond.
He Jiu was a quick-witted person. Seeing Luo Hu at a loss, she introduced him to him, saying, "This is Mr. Fang Yang, the chairman of Yuewen Entertainment Media. Perhaps he has something good to ask you."
Luo Hu nodded. Yuewen Entertainment Media? He didn't seem to have heard of it. What could they want to stop him for?
His gaze unconsciously drifted to Zhou Xingming, the director of the film crew. Seeing Zhou Xingming nod in agreement, he said, "President Fang, please feel free to speak. I have no problem with this!"
Fang Yang looked at He Jiu and said, "Teacher He, I just watched the filming process of 'Man and Nature' and was deeply inspired. I was also moved by the spirit of the 'Man and Nature' crew. So I was inspired and wrote a song. I would like to use this stage to dedicate this song to the entire crew of 'Man and Nature' and to pay tribute to the unsung heroes who have made selfless contributions in the darkness. I wonder if the organizers could do me a favor."
Fang Yang's words startled He Jiu slightly. The organizers had arranged for this singing segment, but not now. Moreover, Fang Yang's performance was a last-minute tribute to heroes. If it didn't go well, it would be a live broadcast accident, and it would be too late to regret it.
Just as He Jiu was pondering, the director's voice came through her earpiece, "Let him go on stage!"
Without further hesitation, He Jiu, having received instructions, said, "It would be wonderful if President Fang could go on stage and sing a song for our hero. What do you think, Teacher Luo?"
Since the director had already agreed, Luo Hu naturally had no objections. "I have no objections. It would be my honor to hear President Fang sing a song live."
Seeing that both parties had agreed, Fang Yang left his seat and walked confidently onto the stage under the watchful eyes of everyone present.
He Jiu and Ya Ya both came over and shook hands with Fang Yang. "Mr. Fang, this is the first time we've heard you sing live. From what you've said, it's a song you just composed. Is there anything we need to prepare?"
"Give me a pen and a piece of paper, and also prepare a piano and a guitar."
Before He Jiu could give any instructions, someone backstage quickly brought over paper and pens, while the piano and guitar were already being prepared.
Fang Yang took the paper and pen and looked at Zhu Laosan, "Old Zhu, how about you come up and play a guitar song?"
Zhu Laosan quickly came up and said, "That's great! It's something I've always dreamed of, to be able to cooperate with President Fang."
Fang Yang spent a few minutes writing out the sheet music. "Take a look at it first, and start when you feel comfortable with it!"
Zhu Laosan took the sheet music and quickly began to play it in his mind on the stage. Seeing that the guitar had been brought up, he said, "I'll play it once first. If there are no problems, we can start right away!"
At this point, everyone at the scene, in front of their TVs, and in the live broadcast studio was stunned. "No way, he can finish a song in just a few minutes? Is he just kidding?"
"Is the person upstairs stupid? Fang's products are always top-notch! Haven't you heard that saying? You're still hanging around online? Go back and get some retraining before you come out again."
"Hey, hey, speak properly, don't attack people!"
"Who attacked anyone? Now that President Fang is here, who would dare to attack someone? Do they have a death wish?"
"Could it be that Mr. Fang had already written it beforehand?"
"Didn't you hear that it was written on the spot after just hearing Luo Hu's story?"
"I still find it a bit unbelievable. Who can write a song in just a few minutes? Look at those great composers, which one of them didn't spend months polishing their work before they wrote a song? How can it be as simple as Mr. Fang writing a song as if it were drinking water?"
"You're stunned, aren't you? Think about how many songs Mr. Fang has written this year, at least twenty or more. Who else in the music industry can compare? Writing a song every few months? By then, it'll be too late!"
······
It has to be said that everyone's guesses are somewhat reasonable. Unfortunately, Fang Yang has a cheat code, and writing songs is really no different from drinking water for him!
On stage, Zhu Laosan practiced the guitar once, and feeling that there were no major problems, he nodded to Fang Yang, indicating that he was ready.
Seeing that everything was ready, Fang Yang invited Luo Hu, saying, "Brother Luo, please take a seat. Teacher He, please forgive me for taking up your time."
He Jiu laughed heartily and said, "It's my honor!"
Then, turning to face the guests below the stage, he said, "Distinguished guests, viewers in front of the television, and friends in the live broadcast room, Mr. Fang Yang will now sing a song called 'The Lone Warrior' to pay tribute to the unsung heroes who selflessly dedicate themselves to this society in every corner of the world. Please give him a round of applause!"
Fang Yang bowed to the audience in all four directions, then walked to the piano and sat down. After composing himself slightly, he nodded to Zhu Laosan and pressed the keys firmly with his long, slender fingers.
The next moment, melodious piano music filled the air, captivating the entire venue, including countless households watching on television and in live broadcast rooms. Time seemed to stand still, without a trace of noise.
The wound on your forehead, your differences, the mistakes you made.
