Chapter 114

Chapter 114

Has she been out for a long time?

Sheng Ningyu was a little confused, but she always listened to her second senior brother the most.

“Okay, Second Senior Brother.” Sheng Ningyu adopted an obedient posture. “I’ll go back with you.”

Sheng Ningyu noticed that her second senior brother seemed much happier after hearing her say that.

Would the second senior brother have been someone who was so easily pleased in the past?

That's really strange.

However, Sheng Ningyu astutely refrained from asking any questions.

Although her second senior brother Rong Que was clearly very close, Sheng Ningyu felt as if he were very far away from her.

An invisible barrier is spreading between the two.

But Sheng Ningyu didn't say a word.

As usual, she smiled and deliberately put on a smug look, jokingly asking Rong Que, "Second Senior Brother, are you worried about me, afraid that I, weak and helpless, will be bullied by the powerful people down the mountain, so you specially came down the mountain to pick me up?"

How is that possible?

Anyone who heard that would probably burst out laughing three times.

Sheng Ningyu, this is the Bright Moon Sword Master Sheng Ningyu! Who can bully her?

Are you kidding me?!

Who can bully that troublemaker Sheng Ningyu!

Rong Que: "What if I say 'yes'?"

……What?

Sheng Ningyu was stunned and speechless, not daring to speak for a moment.

So she followed Rong Que closely the whole way, being extremely obedient.

The fourteen continents each possess a unique and diverse climate.

Sheng Ningyu crossed thousands of mountains and rivers, and saw all the flowers in the world.

There was a sound, yet there was also complete silence.

Sheng Ningyu unconsciously slowed her pace.

Rong Que saw through Sheng Ningyu's thoughts at a glance. He stopped and said softly, "If Junior Sister likes this place, let's stay a little longer."

Sheng Ningyu naturally agreed.

She randomly picked a tree, leaned against it, half-reclined, put her hands behind her head, and closed her eyes slightly.

At this moment, her mind was as still as a stagnant pool.

As the spring breeze stirred and all things fell silent, a gentle breeze brushed against Sheng Ningyu's nose.

She smelled a floral fragrance.

Unlike the jade hairpin that my second senior brother loved, which was so captivating, this one had a faint, alluring fragrance.

Almost simultaneously, a soft, white petal landed on her eyes.

Sheng Ningyu picked it up with her fingertips and brought it to her nose to smell it.

yes……

Pear blossoms.

"Second Senior Brother." Sheng Ningyu suddenly looked up at Rong Que, her tone as calm as could be, "I want to see snow."

For a moment, Sheng Ningyu felt that Rong Que's expression had become extremely ugly.

However, in the blink of an eye, Rongque was restored to its original state.

He still had that upright and gentle demeanor, but when he looked at Sheng Ningyu, his eyes were full of helplessness: "Junior sister, it was already inappropriate of me to promise you that I would return to the Sword Pavilion from the mortal world. How could I possibly go around to see the snow? As the Sword Master, you should have returned to the Sword Pavilion much earlier."

Jian Ge.

Sheng Ningyu blinked.

Yes, she should go back sooner.

In Sheng Ningyu's heart, the world is like dust, and all things are equal.

But Sword Pavilion is the most unique among these minor entities.

Sheng Ningyu subconsciously touched her side and found the sword was still behind her. For some reason, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Second Senior Brother is right, I should go back sooner."

...

Inside the Tianji Pavilion, the starry sky cascades down like a waterfall.

Xin Zhuiwang knelt on the cold, mysterious crystal ground, his back hunched, no longer possessing the dignified and otherworldly air of his past.

He made a hoarse sound in his throat, his lips were dark purple, and his five fingers dug into the cracks in the ground, the tips of his fingers turning bluish-white from the force.

Blood seeped from the corner of his mouth, one drop, two drops, blooming into dazzling flowers on the crystal-clear ground.

Wrong...

Everything was wrong!

Everything in front of me began to spin and overlap.

In Xin Zhuiwang's vision, the fire of purgatory in the past should have burned away the last bloodline of the Bodhi Xie family, causing Bodhi Immortal Lord Xie Qianjing to fall into despair and become the most perfect "demon seed".

Then what?

Then, the Bright Moon Sword Master Sheng Ningyu will personally slay the demon seed, and with the destiny of "Holy Monarch", he will awe the world. The Heavenly Dao will bestow blessings upon him, and the shackles that have bound them for hundreds of years will be broken at this moment!

Xin Zhuiwang had long ago received the prophecy in the "Fragment of Heavenly Destiny".

[The bright moon receives the blessing of a sage ruler, demons and monsters arise among the crowd. Three thousand fleeting lives, three thousand swords; heaven and earth are purified, shackles fall, and all paths flourish.]

This prophecy was soon proven true.

The Sword Pavilion disciple Sheng Ningyu is that "bright moon," the "holy ruler" destined in prophecy to cleanse the three realms.

Ke Xin never expected that this bright moon was so unruly that its light was so blinding that many people couldn't open their eyes.

Fortunately... fortunately she hasn't fully grown up yet!

Thus, sixty years ago, amidst the unspoken understanding of everyone, a maze using "demon seeds" as a lure was set in the Mitian Realm.

Xin Zhuiwang had calculated everything very clearly.

If Sheng Ningyu dies, it will prove that the destiny can be broken, and they will no longer be bound. They can continue to create "demon seeds" and accumulate merit and golden light by "exorcising demons".

If Sheng Ningyu could still survive in such a dangerous situation.

Then the situation can be divided into two types.

Firstly, Sheng Ningyu has fallen into demonic possession, and killing her would be an immense act of merit.

Secondly, if Sheng Ningyu remains true to herself, then the prophecy will be fulfilled, and they will still be able to enjoy the opportunity to break through!

No matter which path he chooses, Xin Zhuiwang will not suffer any loss.

Having acquired the "Fragment of Destiny," Xin Zhuiwang was already accustomed to manipulating the fates of others.

He believed that everything was under his control.

Those few frivolous and foolish young men in the Xie family gave them an opportunity.

Are monks people who are pure of heart and have few desires?

No, quite the opposite.

All cultivators are magnified "humans," and given enough benefits, everyone will become a puppet of desire.

Under Xin Zhuiwang's inducement, the Chu family, driven by greed, quickly and brazenly fabricated a story about "harboring a demonic seed," and he actually hid the demonic seed in those disciples...

Xin Zhuiwang was not worried at all that the Chu family would threaten him.

With such a short-sighted pursuit of quick success, they have already incurred many karmic ties and are destined for destruction.

Everything fell into place naturally.

The Xie family was destroyed overnight, engulfed in flames, and Xin Zhuiwang discovered a pleasant surprise.

Bodhi Immortal Lord, Xie Qianjing.

They are absolutely perfect candidates for demonic beings!

Heaven is on his side!

Xin Zhuiwang almost burst out laughing.

As for the few minor demons who had escaped his control, Xin Zhuiwang didn't care.

However, what happened next far exceeded his expectations.

The proud little phoenix of the Phoenix Clan had her brother killed by her best friend, and her pride crushed by the gossip of others. Yet, when she reunited with an old friend, she did not lay a hand on him.

The daughter of the Nine Heavens Pavilion Master was poisoned, but she did not turn a blind eye to her father's actions. Instead, she broke with him.

Li Qingfeng, the son of the former Lord of Hehuan City, although he had become insane, never fell into the demonic path.

There's also Yang Xiuzhu from Jian Ge, and Lady Lan from the Phoenix Clan...

Even the Chu family son who changed his name to "Feng Qingxing" simply followed the Phoenix Clan without any desire to compete.

Xin Zhuiwang did not believe it.

Are all people under heaven saints?

So, using the pretext of "the chaos caused by demons and ghosts," he personally went to the City That Never Sleeps.

However, everything took an unexpected turn once again.

Not to mention that the Palace Master of Yunwang Palace was originally unforgiving, yet he was still able to maintain his composure even after learning that his lover might be annihilated. Just the fact that Ning Jiao was such a fool really left Xin Zhuiwang completely baffled.

But at the last moment, Ning Jiao actually chose to end his own life rather than let Sheng Ningyu be tainted by any karma.

This is not just the case for this generation.

The younger generation was the same.

Chu Le, burdened by the sins of the Chu family; Feng Jiutian, a disciple of the Phoenix Clan who should have been aloof and untainted; Yuan Shu, who was weak-willed and conflicted by nature...

Each name, each opportunity.

Forced by the puppet barrier, in the desperate situation of the Thousand Mountains Trial, in the sea of fire of the Chu family in the East Sea, and in the Yin-Yang Blood Array of the Mountain and Sea Never Sleeps City...

Xin Zhuiwang saw it very clearly.

They were in so much pain, almost on the verge of collapse, but in the end, they still couldn't cross that line.

Even that fool Yu Wusheng from Jiuxiao Pavilion was saved by chance!

Why? !

What is a monk?

It's just "humans" with their desires amplified.

Immortality, power, breakthroughs, surpassing all living beings... Given enough bait, who can resist becoming a puppet of desire?

However, this time, Xin Zhuiwang miscalculated again.

The lifeline he painstakingly woven did not crush Sheng Ningyu's will, nor did it create enough demonic seeds as he had envisioned. Instead, it acted like whetstones, polishing the chess pieces until they shone brightly, pulsating with the power of stars.

Unbeknownst to them, the person destined to be a "sage ruler" had actually stirred up countless visible threads.

Now that his fate has been sealed, it's no longer something he can control.

Xin Zhuiwang made a "hoarse" sound and spat out another mouthful of blood.

"Master?!"

A terrified female voice came from the palace gate.

Xin Zhuiwang shuddered violently, forcibly suppressing the metallic taste rising in his throat. His cloudy eyes rolled as he looked at the person who had come.

Elder Ruan Shu of Tianji Pavilion.

His apprentices were brought from the mortal realm.

Ruan Shu stood at the doorway, her face drained of color, against the faint sunlight.

She seemed horrified by the sight before her, and rushed towards Xin, kneeling beside him.

Ruan Shu's hands were trembling even as she helped him up.

Ruan Shu asked anxiously, "Master! What's wrong?"

Xin Zhuiwang felt a sudden tightness in his chest, but his usual composure allowed him to quickly regain his composure.

Ruan Shu is a good child in every way, except that she is too soft-hearted and short-sighted, and her heart and eyes are full of those ridiculous moralistic ideas.

He especially felt a ridiculous sense of gratitude and admiration for Sheng Ningyu.

If such a child knew that the Sword Master she had admired for so many years was not as brilliant and dazzling as he appeared, but rather a person who would act willfully and disregard the common people, I wonder what her good disciple would think.

Xin Zhuiwang was extremely excited.

Perhaps his good disciple will become the most unique demon seed, and he will be sent to the clouds.

Almost the instant the idea popped into my head, the plan took shape in my mind.

Xin Zhuiwang deliberately made his body tremble even more violently, more blood kept flowing from the corner of his lips, and his eyes were unfocused: "A-Shu... good disciple, is that you?"

"Master! It is Ruan Shu!" Ruan Shu's face was completely drained of color. She seemed to be terrified by Xin Zhuiwang's current appearance. Even her spiritual energy transmission was chaotic and completely out of control.

"Who? Who hurt you like this?!"

Look, this is his good apprentice.

Weak, helpless, and easily intimidated by appearances.

Xin Zhuiwang almost burst out laughing.

He lowered his eyes, grasped Ruan Shu's cold, trembling hand, his nails almost digging into her flesh, his voice hoarse and broken, every word dripping with blood.

"...Sword Pavilion..."

Feeling Ruan Shu's hand suddenly stiffen, Xin Zhuiwang sighed inwardly, even feeling a pang of irritation and pity for Ruan Shu.

Acting on impulse makes one unfit for important tasks.

Xin Zhuiwang had been manipulating his fate line for many years.

In his eyes, "human" is no longer a living person, but an object.

Their character is like the patterns on this object. If the patterns are beautiful, then it can be used more; if it gets tiresome, it can be discarded at will.

As for Ruan Shu, Xin Zhuiwang did have some affection for this disciple. He had even considered letting her go and finding someone to replace her as the "Demon Seed".

It's a pity that she happened to see it.

This must be fate.

Xin Zhuiwang felt a little regretful, but this regret was as shallow as the starlight in the palace, dissipating as soon as it was dispelled.

As the head of the Heavenly Mystery Pavilion, this is a right bestowed upon him by the Heavenly Dao.

The will of Heaven made him the head of the Heavenly Mystery Pavilion and granted him the "Fragment of the Heavenly Numbers Scroll".

Within the fourteen continents, he should be the revered holy ruler!

To pave the way for his great path is the highest honor.

"Sword Pavilion? Why would Sword Pavilion attack Master?! Was it Sword Master who did it?" Ruan Shu seemed a little flustered. She gripped Xin Zhuiwang's hand tightly, as if she was terrified.

"It's not what the Sword Master said... it's the acting Pavilion Master Rong Que!"

Xin Zhuiwang gasped for breath, perfectly portraying the intense pain in his consciousness caused by the backlash as weakness and rage after suffering a severe blow.

Xin Zhuiwang coughed violently, his voice becoming low and deep: "This man is truly cunning. I fought him to the death... but his sorcery is bizarre, and he has been plotting for a long time..."

These words are not entirely false.

Xin Zhuiwang truly did not know Rong Que's demons and gods.

It's highly likely that Ning Guihai has been covering for him all along!

Xin Zhuiwang quickly guessed what it was, but he found it utterly absurd.

Ning Guihai, oh Ning Guihai.

I was wondering why you died so easily back then. It turns out you used most of your cultivation to cover up for your good disciple.

Ruan Shu's voice trembled even more violently, her face as white as paper: "That...that Sword Master..."

"Sword Master is unharmed, but Rong Que's target... is probably Sword Master himself!" Xin Zhuiwang immediately interjected, steer the conversation to what Ruan Shu cared about most, while simultaneously cloaking himself in a tragic guise, "I used my last breath to disrupt his plans... and barely managed to protect Sword Master..."

At this point, Xin Zhuiwang coughed up another mouthful of blood; he was truly severely injured.

He made three mistakes.

First, Rong Que's demonic form.

Secondly, Xie Qianjing was willing to perish together with the demonic cocoon without harboring any resentment.

Thirdly...

Ning Guihai...

His former close friend, Xin Zhuiwangxiang.

When he took over as the head of the Heavenly Mystery Pavilion and held the "Fragment of the Heavenly Numbers Scroll," he became complacent and his intentions were discovered by Ning Guihai.

Unfortunately, his old friend was too soft-hearted. Despite Xin Zhuiwang's repeated assurances, Ning Guihai did not make a fuss and instead made a spiritual pact with him.

It's a pity that Ning Guihai died too young.

Xin Zhuiwang quickly discovered the loophole.

After Ning Guihai's death, he began to try to create his own "demon seed".

Xin Zhuiwang was filled with smug satisfaction.

Now that the Sword Pavilion is empty, your disciples are all just all show and no substance. They can't see through the cause and effect of this world, and they can't use their power to keep me in the Heavenly Mystery Pavilion and prevent me from getting involved in worldly affairs.

The three thousand great paths will ultimately reside within my universe!

“Shu’er…this matter is of utmost importance…Rong Que is extremely adept at deception…Sheng Ningyu may also be deceived by him…We must not…we must not alert the enemy…”

Xin Zhuiwang knew that he was only one move away from winning.

What if, after that, she discovers that Sheng Ningyu is not as pure and noble as the bright moon as she thought?

Xin Zhuiwang knew this.

If Sheng Ningyu couldn't bring herself to harm her junior sister who had schemed against her multiple times, how could she possibly be so ruthless towards Rong Que, the senior brother who had raised her?

“My good disciple…” Xin Zhuiwang let Ruan Shu support him, “The best course of action now is to quickly take me to find the Sword Master, only then can we stop the impending disaster!”

Ruan Shu lowered her eyes, which seemed to be full of tears: "Disciple understands, disciple understands! Master, please don't say anymore, I'll take you to heal your injuries first!"

Okay, very good.

Amidst this intense pain, Xin Zhuiwang's expression hardened with a mocking smile.

Ruan Shu's reaction was entirely within Xin Zhuiwang's expectations.

He didn't think Ruan Shu could see through anything at all.

The reason Xin Zhuiwang took Ruan Shu as his disciple was not only because he wanted her to be a substitute for the "Demon Seed," but also because he had truly received guidance from the "Fragment of Heavenly Numbers."

The Book of Destiny says that Ruan Shu will be the next head of the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion.

However, the only reason for having a successor is the fall of the previous one.

Xin Zhuiwang looked at the delicate and innocent girl and felt nothing but absurdity.

Why should he die while this piece of trash lives?

He manipulated the lifeline, easily causing the demon to kill her parents, but unfortunately, Sheng Ningyu saved them.

The second time, after Xin Zhuiwang made a few casual remarks, someone thought they had figured it out and quickly took action, having that mortal who was related to her by blood sell Ruan Shu.

It seems like only some loose silver was used? Xin Zhuiwang couldn't remember, only finding it absurd and interesting.

However, some "silver" can buy the life of the next Tianji Pavilion Master.

However, Xin Zhuiwang miscalculated once again.

Left with no other choice, he could only take the person back to the Heavenly Mystery Pavilion.

For many years, Ruan Shu had not been able to understand the "Fragment of Heavenly Fate," and there was no sign whatsoever of her succeeding as the Pavilion Master as predicted.

It's ridiculous.

Xin Zhuiwang was already used to being high above and manipulating the world, and he was certain that Ruan Shu would not suspect him. However, he did not notice that Ruan Shu did not raise her eyes once from beginning to end.

She used tears to conceal her true feelings, assuming that Ruan Shu knew that her eyes must be filled with murderous intent.

Just now.

In an instant.

Ruan Shu was suddenly enveloped in a vast expanse of white snow, and in the emptiness, she obtained her own copy of the "Fragment of the Heavenly Destiny Scroll".

The purpose of this tattered scroll is not to "prophesy," but to expose "lies."

The pages are densely covered with her life story.

Silent cracks suddenly spread across the quiet starry sky of the Heavenly Mystery Pavilion.

...

Sheng Ningyu ultimately failed to return to the Sword Pavilion immediately.

Because she and Rong Que happened to meet Yan Ruzhao, who was out traveling, and his Daoist partner Han Yuyi on their way.

The four met unexpectedly in a mortal city. The sounds of vendors hawking their wares filled the air, creating a bustling and lively atmosphere, but it was by no means a good place to have a conversation.

Rong Que paused for a moment, then stepped forward and said, "I haven't yet congratulated Master Yan and Master Han on their marriage. If you have some free time, why don't we get together?"

Sheng Ningyu blinked: "Shall we put on another 'Dream of the Spiritual Water'? Why not invite Feng Xiaohong and Senior Brother Fei Fou as well?"

Rong Que turned his head, but before he could speak, Yan Ruchao had already bent his knuckles and landed on Sheng Ningyu's head.

Han Yuyi readily replied, "The original palace master had to guard his Daoist partner, so naturally he couldn't leave."

Sheng Ningyu had only mentioned it casually. Rong Que originally intended to open his own Mizi Realm, but Yan Ruchao stopped him.

“It’s rare for you to come out, so please make Rongxian stay at a mortal’s inn for one night.” Yan Ruchao raised his chin and nodded in the direction of Sheng Ningyu. “Otherwise, if you can’t get what you want, Junior Brother Wuque might not be able to bring her back.”

Sheng Ningyu peeked out from behind Han Yuyi and blinked.

Rong Que paused for a moment, then changed his form of address: "As Senior Brother said."

The four of them rarely got to get together, so they drank and chatted happily.

The stars in the night sky are bright, as if I have returned to my childhood.

Sheng Ningyu crossed her arms behind her head and said, "That's wonderful, it's just a pity..."

pity?

What a pity?

Sheng Ningyu herself was not sure; it seemed as if she had spoken the words subconsciously.

However, it was too late for regrets. Her second senior brother, Rong Que, had already turned his gaze to her. Sheng Ningyu, without changing her expression, made up a story: "It's a pity that today's honey flower cake isn't sweet enough, and the tea is too bitter."

Rong Que's fingers faltered slightly as he strummed the strings, and he smiled gently: "If Junior Sister likes it, just have those mortals make it again."

Earlier, Sheng Ningyu had been clamoring for pastries, so Rong Que had someone buy them for her. She had also been asking for tea, so Rong Que ordered some for her as well. Finally, late at night, Sheng Ningyu insisted on listening to the zither, and Rong Que indulged her, smiling as he took out the zither.

Yan Ruchao turned to look at Rong Que, finding it extremely strange: "Why are you spoiling her like this now?"

Rong Que paused, then parted his lips. But before he could answer, Sheng Ningyu grabbed Han Yuyi's hand and insisted on going downstairs to the kitchen to make pastries.

Rong Que frowned. Before the song was even over, he raised his hand to stop the person, but Yan Ruchao blocked him.

“She has her senior sister Han with her.” Yan Ruchao stood in front of Rong Que, her expression extremely strange.

Instead of going along with her nonsense, junior brother, you should explain things to me.

Yan Ruchao was never a talkative person, and he had been holding these questions in for a long time before finally asking them today.

"What are your true feelings for Mingyue?"

...

Han Yuyi thought about the same problem much more deeply.

Having just stepped out of her room and bypassed the others in the inn, Han Yuyi raised her hand to set up an array, then tentatively looked at Sheng Ningyu: "Is Mingyue going back to Sword Pavilion on this trip?"

Sheng Ningyu nodded: "I've been away from Sword Pavilion for too long, it's time for me to go back. I never expected to run into Senior Sister Han and Senior Brother here."

For some reason, Han Yuyi had a very strong thought in her mind.

Sheng Ningyu cannot go to Mitian Realm.

At the very least, we can't let her go to the Heavenly Realm alone.

Han Yuyi shook her head: "Your senior brother has tried it."

"Those letters and kites either disappeared without a trace, or we simply couldn't find you."

Sheng Ningyu was taken aback and subconsciously said, "I did not receive the kite."

I see.

Han Yuyi turned her head and stared intently at Sheng Ningyu. Suddenly, she asked, "Mingyue, do you have romantic feelings for Immortal Rong?"

Unlike Yan Ruchao's dullness, Han Yuyi heard it all very clearly.

The melodious and gentle tune was clearly a folk tune that her father had once found for her mother.

The origin of this piece of music is that it was composed by a man to express his love for the girl he admired under the moonlight.

Sheng Ningyu: "...?"

"I already have someone I love."

The moment the words left her lips, Sheng Ningyu herself was stunned.

[Ninefold.]

who?

Who is it?!

Sheng Ningyu was completely bewildered.

She found herself outside the inn's courtyard, when she heard an exclamation beside her: "Snow! It's snowing!"

"On such a beautiful spring day, why is it snowing? Could it be that there's some injustice involved?"

"What nonsense! Heavy snow in a bountiful year is an auspicious sign!"

Han Yuyi exclaimed "Ah!" with a hint of surprise.

"It really is snowing." She turned her head, a faint smile appearing on her beautiful face, as if she wanted to lighten the mood.

"It was an unexpected snowfall. Mingyue, why don't you draw one of your original creations..." Han Yuyi paused for a moment before remembering the name, "Is it called 'Flying Snow Melting Talisman'? I remember you said that this talisman may seem to just make a cracking sound, but it actually has a miraculous effect on snow."

Han Yuyi had never seen Sheng Ningyu use the Snow Melting Talisman to deal with snow, so she couldn't help but be curious.

Snowflakes... Dissolving Charm?

Sheng Ningyu raised her eyes blankly: "Senior Sister, do you mean this is a talisman I created, and the name I chose?"

Han Yuyi sensed something was wrong and looked at Sheng Ningyu with concern: "Is there something amiss?"

Sheng Ningyu shook her head. Her movements were disordered, and her speech became extremely slow: "Nothing is wrong, it's just... strange."

It's strange that there's no snow in Jian Ge; why would she create the "Snow Melting Talisman"?

It's strange that even if she created the talisman, she shouldn't have chosen such an elegant name.

Sheng Ningyu turned her head blankly and looked at the snow falling outside.

[Mischievous Monkey! I'm going to name it 'Mischievous Monkey'!]

The moment her gaze fell upon the snow-white landscape, a clear, cold voice suddenly rang in Sheng Ningyu's ears.

No.

A buzzing sound filled the air.

The sound of cold jade robes, the faint hustle and bustle of the city outside the inn, even the passing breeze... all the sounds were rapidly receding, replaced by a deep, muffled, and enormous echo from the depths of one's heart.

One after another.

The concerned face of Han Yuyi before my eyes blurred, and the elegant railings of the inn and the verdant mountains in the distance also faded away like a painting immersed in water.

[Ninefold.]

With a sense of helplessness, and with a sense of indulgence.

With... the love that Sheng Ningyu already knew.

Sheng Ningyu suddenly took a step back, breaking free from that mysterious memory. Her back slammed heavily against a pillar in the inn's corridor with a dull thud.

"Mingyue?!" Han Yuyi stepped forward to support her.

Sheng Ningyu's face was pale, her forehead was covered in a fine layer of cold sweat, and her pupils were somewhat unfocused.

She was clearly still immersed in the emotions that had surged within her in that split second.

Sheng Ningyu raised her hand and unconsciously pressed it against her heart, where a sharp, throbbing pain was emanating.

"Senior Sister Han," Sheng Ningyu murmured softly, her voice trembling with pain, yet at this moment, she smiled with delight.

"I'm going to the Mitian Realm."
