Chapter 61 Bluffing

Chapter 61 Bluffing

Wen Ruirui heard the noise and asked without looking at the person who came, "Teacher, is my mother here?"

"No."

Wen Ruirui thought the voice sounded neither like that of a teacher nor her mother. She turned around and saw a tall and beautiful sister.

Wearing white casual clothes and a black baseball cap on his head.

Wen Ruirui asked, "Who are you?"

Yan Nian stared at her closely, as if she were a cat or a dog: "I am here to learn piano."

Wen Ruirui seemed to have found a companion: "Sister, are you also a talented person?"

Yan Nian felt disgusted by her calling him "sister" and looked at her calmly.

The girl has naturally yellow hair in a high ponytail, very fair skin, and a small round face.

She had a cute appearance, but in her eyes she looked a little annoying.

Yan Nian said coldly: "I have been learning for a long time."

"Really? Then you must know a lot of songs." Wen Ruirui said dejectedly, "I find it so difficult! I can never coordinate well."

"Then why do you want to learn?" Yan Nian asked.

Wen Ruirui said: "I didn't want to learn it either, but my mother forced me to come."

Wen Ruirui waved to her again with great interest, and made way for her, saying, "Sister, come here quickly."

Yan Nian walked over, her slender fingertips brushing across the piano keys, and asked, "Where's your mother?"

"It should be here soon." Wen Ruirui's mind was on the piano. "Sister, which song are you going to play?"

Yan Nian hadn't touched the piano in years. Her amateur level was tenth. She didn't like anything Xu Yiqing forced her to learn. She said perfunctorily, "Just play a song! By the time you're done, your mother should be here."

Wen Ruirui smiled and nodded: "Okay!"

Yan Nian sat down and placed his ten white fingers on the piano keys.

Croatian Rhapsody

Yan Nian lowered her eyes, and her fingertips danced on the piano keys following the instructions of her brain.

When he looked up again, the woman's face was reflected on the black lacquer surface of the piano in front of him.

Yan Nian's eyes were like torches, his fingers became stiff, and he kept playing the wrong notes. The harsh sound made his eardrums hurt, and he was forced to stop.

There was applause from the back.

The piano teacher gave a thumbs up and said, "Student, you played very well earlier."

Wen Lijun touched her daughter's head and stood behind her: "You have to work harder in the future and play the piano as well as your sister."

Wen Ruirui: "That's amazing! Why did my sister make such a mistake?"

Yan Nian stared quietly at the woman with a dark face, his eyes full of gloom.

Wen Lijun asked, "The students are in the classroom upstairs, right? Only the beginners are downstairs?"

The three of them looked at her together, Yan Nian slowly stood up and turned around.

When the face under the baseball cap was fully revealed, Wen Lijun looked at it for a few seconds, and the smile on the corner of her mouth gradually disappeared, and she was instantly speechless.

It was a face with eyebrows and eyes very similar to Yan Qilin's.

Yan Nian asked sarcastically, "Are you so sure that I'm the one living upstairs?"

Wen Lijun was lost in thought and speechless. Yan Nian's expression remained unchanged: "Should I go to your house to sit down? Or should we talk?"

Wen Ruirui immediately looked at Wen Lijun: "Mom, do you know each other?"

Wen Lijun looked at the girl in front of her with unfocused pupils, and only reacted when her daughter pushed her.

"Ruirui, wait for me in the classroom for a while. Mom will..." Wen Lijun glanced at Yan Nian, "chat with this sister. I'll be back soon."

Wen Ruirui: "Okay."

Wen Lijun made a gesture of invitation: "Let's go."

Yan Nian glanced at the little girl next to her, walked out of the classroom before her, and waited at the door of the mansion.

Wen Lijun walked out slowly and looked around: "You are looking for me because of your father, right?"

Yan Nian looked at the woman expressionlessly and found her bluntness quite funny.

Wen Lijun looked at her in a daze.

Yan Nian moved her lips: "I don't do this for anyone."

Wen Lijun inexplicably felt that the person in front of her was terrifyingly calm, especially those scrutinizing eyes, which looked extremely dangerous.

Yan Nian asked, "He stayed at your place last night, right?"

Wen Lijun froze.

Yan Nian looked at the woman in front of him. He could not see any of the qualities of a teacher in her. He even saw vanity. The thing she was holding was a high-end imitation limited edition, which was far inferior to Xu Yiqing.

But she had a softness that Xu Yiqing didn't have. When she lowered her eyes, she looked so soft that she could be crushed. "Eight years ago, you were almost stripped of your teaching qualifications. Wasn't it him who helped you?"

"The student spoke up for you and was beaten nearly to death by her husband."

When her husband went to school to ask her for money, a male student saw him after evening study and tried to stop him, but was beaten.

Wen Lijun said in dismay, "Are you investigating me?"

Yan Nian observed her: "There's no need to investigate this kind of thing, you'll know the answer once you ask."

It caused quite a stir at the time.

When Yan Nian was in her third year of high school, Yan Qilin decided to move back to Lindu after she graduated from high school and has been back a few times.

It was at that time that Yan Qilin came to him for help because of this incident.

Yan Nian's expression was stern: "Are you grateful, or are you attracted by his money? Don't even mention being attracted to him. He's already fifty-one, a full ten years older than you."

Wen Lijun was quite annoyed when a little girl grabbed her and questioned her. She put on her teacher's airs and said, "You shouldn't talk to me like that. Your father and your mother are already going through the divorce process. Their marriage is already dead in name only. We are just having a normal relationship."

Yan Nian disagreed and sneered.

Wen Lijun shuddered slightly and added, "You should ask your father instead of coming to block us."

Seeing her using self-righteousness to cover up her guilty conscience, Yan Nian acted like a clown and said, "Of course, I will ask him. You also said that we are going through the divorce process, and my mother hasn't signed yet! So..."

"Legally, you are still a third party."

Wen Lijun was furious. "Little girl, I'm talking to you politely because you're the professor's daughter. Didn't the professor tell you that they had already decided to divorce when you were in high school?"

Yan Nian glanced around, a devilish smile on his face: "I really don't know about this."

"I only understand the law. Professor Yan cheated on her husband and concealed his assets. Your house, which is over 300 square meters, is common property. What do you think will happen to the party at fault if my mother refuses to sign and we file a lawsuit to divide it? Can you still live comfortably in it?"

Wen Lijun seemed unsure: "What do you want to do? I also paid for this house."

Yan Nian seemed to have heard something funny: "Money for the bed?"

"You..." Wen Lijun gritted her teeth in anger.

"Wen Lijun, teacher, can you teach good students with your teaching style?"

Wen Lijun couldn't hold it back, and her true colors were completely exposed: "Stop lecturing me here. No wonder your father wants to escape from you so much. He's so uneducated."

Yan Nian didn't get angry either: "If you are all expelled from school because of this, your daughter's piano lessons here won't even cover her monthly salary, right?"

After she finished speaking, she looked at Wen Lijun with a smile and said, "I'm not afraid of making things worse."

Wen Lijun was stared at by those eyes, and she shuddered and was speechless.

Yan Nian leaned closer to her, his smile extremely dangerous: "He can't even bear to buy you a real bag."

"Goodbye! Teacher Wen Lijun."

Wen Lijun looked at the departing figure, tremblingly took out her cell phone from her bag, and dialed Yan Qilin's number.

"Professor, you...your daughter just came to me and she wants to...make me lose my job. What should I do?"

Yan Nian looked at the investigation records sent by the other party on WeChat.

Yan Qilin had transferred most of his assets through other accounts two years ago, including some valuable calligraphy and paintings by famous people, for which there were related donation agreements.

She forgot that a professor of finance is best at planning ahead.

Yan Nian smiled self-deprecatingly and did not feel happy about finding a woman.

It's just a bluff.
