Chapter 90 Agree to Divorce

Chapter 90 Agree to Divorce

The two went to the alley next to Huajiayuan to look for food. When they arrived at the door of the crayfish restaurant where they often ate before, there were still several tables of customers at this time.

The store has been renovated and is much brighter than before.

Zhou Ran asked, "Do you want to eat?"

Yan Nian was unusually clingy tonight, holding Zhou Ran's arms tightly with both hands and not letting go all the way out.

Yan Nian looked at the young boss at the cash register who was playing with his phone and asked, "Did the boss change?"

Zhou Ran replied: "That's his son."

Yan Nian leaned against him: "How did you know?"

Zhou Ran smiled and said, "Isn't the former boss in there? Take another look. Do they look alike?"

Yan Nian glanced at the people inside and took a closer look. He saw that his former boss was sitting hunched over on a low stool peeling potatoes. He looked much older. After comparing them, he found that they did look quite similar.

The two stepped inside. The man at the cashier saw Zhou Ran and immediately came over to greet him: "Here you are."

Zhou Ran: "Yeah."

Yan Nian glanced at Zhou Ran sideways, and he seemed quite familiar.

The man saw Yan Nian, smiled and wiped the table for them, and asked Zhou Ran: "Girlfriend?"

Zhou Ran smiled faintly: "Yeah."

The young boss greeted them: "Hurry up and take a seat, let's see what we have to eat."

The two sat down. Zhou Ran held the menu in one hand, glanced at the head leaning on his shoulder, and asked, "What do you want to eat?"

Yan Nian: "Just order it."

She usually seemed independent and aloof, but suddenly became so clingy. Zhou Ran smiled and had to let her be.

It was too late to eat now, and it wasn't the season for crayfish, so we just ordered a few dishes at random.

Boss: "Okay, wait a moment."

The two of them just snuggled together, neither of them mentioning what happened tonight.

Yan Nian asked, "Do you often come here to eat?"

Zhou Ran replied: "No."

The cell phone on the table lit up quietly, interrupting Yan Nian's thoughts.

The caller ID shows Xu Ke.

Yan Nian raised his hand hesitantly and clicked to hang up.

Zhou Ran asked, "Don't you want to answer it?"

Xu Yiqing was with Xu Ke, and Yan Nian just wanted to stay with him quietly for a while longer, so she responded, "Well, it's too late, it shouldn't be anything."

Zhou Ran looked at his phone which was still in silent mode and looked away sadly.

Yan Nian let go of Zhou Ran's hand, took the phone and replied to Xu Ke's message: [Is there anything wrong, sister?]

Xu Ke replied immediately: [Are you and Zhou Ran together? ]

Yan Nian: [Yes, eating outside.]

They should have seen him still there when they went downstairs before, otherwise they wouldn't have asked this.

She and Zhou Ran were completely public tonight.

Xu Yiqing was able to remain calm until she asked Xu Ke to call her, which must have been her limit.

Xu Ke was typing, and Yan Nian thought she would say something, so she kept waiting.

Xu Ke: [Do you really like him that much? ]

Yan Nian saw the message, paused, and replied: [I have never liked someone so much.]

Xu Ke: [Is he really that good?]

Yan Nian: [He knows how to respect me.]

After a long while, Xu Ke replied: [Go home early after eating.]

Yan Nian stared at the chat interface with Xu Ke and pressed the lock screen button directly.

It was already twelve o'clock in the morning after dinner. Zhou Ran sent her downstairs and said, "I'll pick you up at eight o'clock tomorrow morning. Don't run away again."

Yan Nian finally smiled for the first time in the past two days and agreed, "Okay."

Zhou Ran took her hand and brought her into his arms, then kissed her on the forehead: "Promise me one thing."

Yan Nian: "Well, go ahead."

Zhou Ran: "Don't scare me from now on."

Yan Nian was already feeling guilty for lying to him, and now she felt even more ashamed. She put her arms around his waist and said frankly, "Zhou Ran, I don't want you to know about these things."

Zhou Ran knew exactly what she was thinking, and he couldn't bear to say a harsh word to her: "Do you remember what you said to me before?"

How could Yan Nian not remember? It was because he did not do what he said that he felt extremely guilty.

Yan Nian bit her lower lip nervously and replied, "I'll be the first to tell you if there's anything."

Zhou Ran thought about what Xu Ke had said to him, and realized that he had been a latecomer for too long. He laughed at himself and gently pulled Yan Nian's face: "Just because you have caught up with someone, can you go back on your word?

The tone didn't sound like he was blaming her, but more like he was worried that she would do something stupid.

Yan Nian immediately responded: "No."

Yan Nian didn't know how to explain this matter to Zhou Ran.

Sometimes I think that she is a replica of Yan Meng. Because she failed, her parents were disappointed in her, which led to the fall apart of their relationship.

She did this extreme behavior just to gamble on whether Xu Yiqing could realize how terrible the various unmotivated prejudices against her over the years were.

She wanted Xu Yiqing to know that she was a person, not an accessory; at the same time, she didn't want Xu Yiqing and Yan Qilin to continue to waste time. They had long been alienated, and now the situation was in a mess. If it wasn't handled properly, it would only end in a mess.

She didn't understand why Yan Qilin and Xu Yiqing, who had experienced the loss of their child and had been through so many ups and downs together, wanted to divorce, and it was even difficult for them to part ways amicably.

Yan Nian knows that she doesn't understand marriage, but she knows that it is easy to give up, but it is difficult to cherish.

Her way may be wrong, but after today, she will definitely get the answer.

Yan Nian said, "Zhou Ran, if I do anything bad in the future, you must tell me, otherwise I won't know what I did or where I went wrong."

She thinks good communication is very important.

I don’t want to be like my parents, who just let each other go and end up not knowing what “communication” is, which will only lead to bad consequences.

Zhou Ran: "Okay, I'll supervise you from now on."

Yan Nian looked up at him and said, "You can be angry and scold me, but I won't be angry and will always love you, unless you don't want me anymore."

Zhou Ran pinched her nose distressedly: "What are you thinking about?"

Yan Nian's eyelashes fluttered: "I'm serious."

Zhou Ran smiled wearily, "Yeah, I know."

Seeing her worry, Zhou Ran suppressed his smile and said, "When you're ready, I'll take you to meet my family, okay?"

Zhou Ran wanted to give her a sense of security. Although their family's way of getting along was quite peculiar, the happiness index was quite high, and he believed that Yan Nian would adapt.

Yan Nian was stunned: "So fast? I..."

Seeing her expression as if a switch had been suddenly turned on, Zhou Ran smiled and said, "When you're ready, I didn't say now."

Yan Nian nodded: "Okay."

The topic of meeting the parents came up immediately, and she was indeed not prepared, and her head was buzzing.

Zhou Ran let her go. If he continued, the girl would probably be scared. "Hurry up and go up. It's late. Tomorrow at 8 o'clock."

Yan Nian said, "I'll watch you go."

"Okay!" Zhou Ran got in the car and started it.

After watching the car leave, Yan Nian turned and went upstairs.

After washing up and going to bed, Yan Nian received a text message from Xu Yiqing.

Mom: [I agree to divorce your father.]

Yan Nian stared at the message, took a deep breath, put down his phone, turned off the lights and went to sleep.
