Jiang Yuanxi was walking around the temple alone.
I have to say, this temple looks small from the outside, but I didn’t expect it to be so big inside.
The entire mountain was chiseled out and built into a temple. I guess a lot of effort must have been spent on its construction.
Si Daiyou looked around and said, "Princess, don't you think that there is something wrong with the people in this temple?"
Several monks just passed by, and each of them had a malicious look in their eyes.
Jiang Yuanxi looked at him: "You think too much."
"Really?" Si Daiyou touched his head.
Jiang Yuanxi walked to a place and was about to go in when several monks stopped her.
"This is not the place for you."
Jiang Yuanxi looked up at them. These monks were strong and healthy. They looked more like killers than monks.
"Master, I can't find the way back."
Jiang Yuanxi looked aggrieved, and Si Daiyou behind her took a step forward.
"Master, my young master and I are lost. I hope you can help us." He said with a smile.
The two monks looked at each other.
One of them said, "Follow me."
The monk took the two men all the way to where they lived.
"There are many people in the temple. You should stay here and don't run around, especially in the back mountain."
After saying this, the monk left.
Jiang Yuanxi and Si Daiyou stood where they were.
"Princess, this temple is not right." Si Daiyou shuddered.
"These monks don't look like people who practice cultivation."
Jiang Yuanxi nodded: "Don't worry, we'll go check it out tonight."
Not long after, Cheng An came back.
There was anger on his face.
"Princess, there is something strange about this temple."
Jiang Yuanxi motioned for him to continue.
"I followed the ladies who were taken away and found that they were taken to a wing room and then disappeared."
"I went in and checked, and there was no one inside." No one knew where those ladies were taken.
Jiang Yuanxi knew that things were not that simple.
When she entered the temple today, she saw that everyone who entered the temple had this faint black aura covering their heads.
No one knows where those ladies were taken to, so the most urgent task is to rescue them.
As soon as Jiang Yuanxi walked out of the door, he saw some ladies walking together in a nearby yard.
Madam Li: "I heard that this place is the most effective for praying for a child. Madam Zhang, are you here to pray for a child too?"
Mrs. Zhang looked dejected and nodded.
She had been married to her husband for three years, but there was no movement in her belly.
Having heard that the Wanfo Temple here was the most effective, she came from afar to try her luck.
"You're still talking about me, but you're here too."
"Alas," Mrs. Li sighed, "Let's not talk about this anymore."
"The Wanfo Temple only sees a hundred patients a day, so we'll have to stay for a while."
Madam Zhang: "Who says it's not true? Every one of these rooms is a lady who wants to have a child."
Jiang Yuanxi frowned.
Every one of them is a lady seeking to have a child, so are there no men?
Jiang Yuanxi leaned over and asked: "Aunts, how long have you lived here?"
When Mrs. Zhang and Mrs. Li turned around, they saw a delicate and beautiful doll standing in front of them.
They didn't have children, so this was the first time they saw such a beautiful doll and they loved it so much.
"Where did this little girl come from? She is so cute." Mrs. Zhang couldn't help but squat down and touch Jiang Yuanxi's little face.
Jiang Yuanxi smiled and said, "Aunt is beautiful too."
The two ladies were immediately overwhelmed by cuteness.
The two ladies had lived here for a long time, and Jiang Yuanxi took this opportunity to ask about everything going on here.
It turned out that Wanfo Temple only received one hundred ladies who came to pray for children every day.
The rest of the people can only stay in the temple temporarily and wait for their turn.
Mrs. Zhang and Mrs. Li arrived early, and it was their turn a few days later.
"I heard that Mrs. Wang next door went to see a doctor yesterday, and she went back with people today. She must have been cured." Mrs. Li said this with some envy.
They stayed there for nearly half a month, but it was not their turn yet.
"Fortunately, it will be our turn in two days."
Mrs. Zhang smiled and said, "I wish I could give birth to a daughter as lovely as this."
As long as she can give birth, she will love her just the same even if it's a girl.
Jiang Yuanxi saw that there was more and more black air on their foreheads, and he knew that nothing good would happen in two days.
She paused and said, "Aunt, I want to go too. Can you take me with you?"
Mrs. Zhang smiled and said, "Okay, Auntie will take you with her."
The next day, Mingwu brought people over personally.
"Donor." He bowed slightly.
Cheng An stepped forward upon seeing this and said: "How about this? When will our master be able to get rich?"
Mingwu's gaze fell on Cheng'an's face, and a hint of surprise flashed across his face.
He said apologetically, "The abbot of the small temple has not returned yet. He will be back in two days. How about you wait for two more days?"
Si Daiyou stood in front of Mingwu and said, "What's going on? Didn't you say yesterday that we could worship today? What a lousy temple! We'll leave today."
Mingwu immediately said, "Don't blame me, my donor. My fate is really unique. Only the abbot can help me. If you want to live a safe and smooth life in the future, you'd better wait for two more days."
Si Daiyou was dissatisfied: "We come here to worship Buddha, and we still have to wait? Do you know who my girl is!"
Mingwu felt disgusted, but had to put on a smile and continue to please.
"Donor, we have no other choice. How about this, the temple will pay for all your expenses for the next two days?"
The abbot said that the little guy cannot be allowed to leave for the time being.
Mo Liu pulled Si Daiyou over and said, "Master, please don't blame me. He is just a little impulsive. Since you said so, we will wait here for two days with the master."
