On the afternoon of the Little New Year, Zhu Xingtong's spiritual power finally broke through to the third level. Before she could be happy, she found that her soul had left her body. For the first time, she felt this body rejecting her. Strangely, the "her" below was still alive. "She" first showed an incredible expression, and then a joyful smile, muttering: "I'm not dead, I'm still alive, I'm back, it's so great. By the way, where are Mom and Dad? Where is Tongtong?" After that, she stood up and ran out. Perhaps because she stood up too hard, she suddenly fell down.
Zhu Xingtong hesitated, but still leaned over, and then she found herself alive again. After getting up, she was silent for a long time. She could feel the presence of the original owner. Perhaps she was too happy and fainted. Time was running out for her. Before she could figure out what to do, Liang Yuan's voice came from outside the house, "Atong, are you home?"
Zhu Xingtong was shocked and stood up immediately, saying to the window, "Mom and Dad, come in quickly. I have something to tell you."
Seeing her serious face, Liang Yuan's heart skipped a beat and he hurriedly pulled Zhu Youliang into the house.
"What happened?" Zhu Youliang closed the door.
"Mom and Dad, I love you." Zhu Xingtong first hugged Liang Yuan, and then hugged Zhu Youliang.
"What happened? Atong, don't scare us?" Liang Yuan said anxiously.
"She's back, and I may have to leave soon." Zhu Xingtong said calmly.
"Who's coming back?" Liang Yuan was still a little confused.
Zhu Youliang understood it immediately and his hands couldn't help but tremble.
"The original owner of this body has returned. She fainted because she was too happy and will wake up soon. Mom and Dad, please don't be sad for me. If possible, I hope you can live well. I am very lucky and satisfied to be able to live for another 8 years. I will always love you." After saying that, she went to the drawer to get the letter paper and envelope, wrote a few lines quickly, and then stuffed it into the letter. After filling in the address, she handed it to Zhu Youliang.
"Dad, please send this letter."
"Don't worry, Dad will take good care of your mom." Zhu Youliang took the letter and then looked at his daughter deeply.
Zhu Xingtong smiled and nodded: "Dad, I believe you, don't be sad for me."
Liang Yuan finally reacted at this time and went forward to hug her daughter, "A Tong."
Zhu Xingtong was just thinking about comforting her when he felt himself being thrown out again. She quickly woke up and when she saw Liang Yuan, she burst into tears of joy and said, "Mom..."
At the same time, Zhu Xingtong was also carried away by a mysterious force and forcibly dragged out of the house, and disappeared.
Liang Yuan tried to hide his sadness and forced a smile, "Are you awake? Are you feeling unwell? Do you want to go to the infirmary?"
"No, no need. I accidentally hit my head and took a nap." Atong said hesitantly. Although she was young at that time, she knew that she couldn't talk about matters of gods and ghosts, otherwise she would be arrested and reformed.
Liang Yuan glanced at Zhu Youliang, then said to Ah Tong: "Why don't you sleep a little longer? You must be hungry. I'll go cook."
"I'll help you light the fire." Atong said immediately.
"Okay. We have food. Go sort out the things we bought and take the things for Mom and Dad over there later." Liang Yuan said as he led her out. She could help with the fire, and then she would take the opportunity to tell her about what had happened in the past few years.
Ah Tong looked at the strange yet familiar home in front of her, and tears welled up in her eyes. Liang Yuan noticed her strangeness, but pretended not to see it.
Zhu Youliang did not go to pack his things, but went back to his room and sat for a long time. When Liang Yuan called him to eat, he returned to normal, as if nothing had changed.
At dinner, looking at the table overflowing with food, Tong was both surprised and delighted. It seemed everyone in her family was doing well after she left. Only then did she have time to wonder if someone had taken her place during her absence, as if she were living for someone else there. Should she tell her parents? But if she didn't, how could she explain the many things she didn't know? Like the motorcycle parked in the yard, or the TV that was now playing—she didn't dare ask what they were. Only after Tongtong came back and told her about them did she find out. A lot must have happened during those eight years that she didn't know about. But what if they didn't believe her? She'd told the truth when she'd first arrived, but no one believed her. She'd even been forced to drink a bowl of foul-tasting talisman water, which left her with diarrhea for days. Although her mother said no one would be taken away for reformation now, she also said that anyone with unusual behavior could be arrested as a spy.
"Sister, what's wrong with you? Why are you always staring blankly while eating?" Tongtong was gnawing on a chicken leg. When he looked up, he found that his sister was staring at the rice in the bowl in a daze.
Liang Yuan said, "Eat your meal well. Your sister is not feeling well."
"Wasn't it fine at noon?" Tongtong was puzzled.
"I accidentally fell this afternoon, probably hitting my head. When I woke up, I realized I remembered some things but not others. For example, I remember you and my parents, but I don't remember the TV or the motorcycle. I don't know what happened, and I'm a little confused." Atong said, holding her head. She couldn't think of any other solution.
"Ah? Do you still remember your grandparents?" Tongtong asked hurriedly.
"I remember." Tongtong continued to ask.
Liang Yuan interrupted him and said, "Don't be afraid. Maybe you'll remember it tomorrow. If you really can't remember it, I'll ask your dad to take you to the hospital tomorrow."
A Tong lowered his head feeling a little guilty. Fortunately, after Liang Yuan finished speaking, Tong Tong did not ask any further questions.
After dinner, Atong hurried back to her room. She couldn't remember what her room looked like before, but she was sure it was not like this. She first flipped through the thick pile of books on the table, then opened the drawers one by one to look at the things inside, then opened the wardrobe and touched the clothes hanging inside, and finally lay down on the bed, pinched herself hard, and made sure she was not dreaming with a muffled groan. After making sure, as if she had made a decision, she picked up the enamel pot on the table and hit the back of her head hard several times, only putting it down when she felt a big lump. Maybe it was because she had been away for too long, she even felt a little strange towards her parents. She was worried that they would not like her as much as they liked the old her, after all, she didn't know anything now, so she finally chose to hide it.
Here, Liang Yuan and Zhu Youliang also returned to their rooms.
"There's food. Do you think A-Tong is still here? If she left, where would she go?"
Zhu Youliang didn't answer, but walked forward and hugged her gently.
"I'm fine. I don't believe that Atong died like this. Do you think she will travel through time again?"
"Yes. Wherever she is, she wants you to be well."
"I know, I will be nice to this Ah Tong now."
So would I.
