Chapter 8 I have thoughts

She was a clever woman, always knowing what was best for her. So after their marriage, Liang Yuan refused to pass messages to her or her second brother. While she considered this option, she still didn't write to them privately. This was partly because she wanted to maintain her good image in Liang Cheng's eyes, and partly because she was afraid of being caught and unable to explain herself. After all, if she had been caught a few years earlier, it would have been a disaster.

Just as I was thinking about it, a man with a dark face walked out of the yard. It was none other than Boss Chen.

"What are you daydreaming about?" Boss Chen asked in a loud voice.

Chen Yan was startled and raised her head suddenly, "No, isn't this Yuanyuan's fault or me..."

Boss Chen said nonchalantly, "I thought it was something serious. I told you before, if she ignores you, just ignore her. You don't rely on her for food. There are many sisters-in-law and young ladies in the village, just play with them."

Chen Yan forced a smile. "After all, we came from the same place, and we were so close before. I can't help but feel a little regretful."

Boss Chen didn't take it seriously and waved his hand, saying, "Come in quickly, Lanlan is still looking for you."

As he said that, he went into the yard first.

Although Chen Yan's thoughts were interrupted by him, her resolve, already made, solidified upon seeing her youngest daughter. Although Chen Lao Da treated her well, her in-laws had always been indifferent to her because she had only given birth to two daughters and wasn't used to farm work. If she had another daughter, she simply couldn't imagine her future.

Xiao Lanlan called out to her mother several times but got no response, so she became anxious.

Chen Laoda heard this and came out of the house to see Chen Yan in a daze. He couldn't help but think of the message from the village, saying that his wife had always been proud and he was afraid he couldn't keep her. His parents were very happy and wanted Chen Yan to leave and find someone who could give birth to a son, but he couldn't bear to let her go. Chen Yan was really beautiful. Even after living in the countryside for several years, her skin was still smooth and silky, something that other girls in the village didn't have. He was often proud of marrying such a beautiful girl.

Seeing Boss Chen frown, Chen Yan suddenly woke up, thinking he had discovered something. She quickly picked up her daughter who was hanging on her legs and explained, "Maybe I slept late last night, and I always feel dizzy."

After hearing this, Boss Chen immediately said with concern: "But what about your illness? I see that you don't look very well. Why don't you go see the village doctor?"

Chen Yan hurriedly shook her head: "No, it's not that precious. I'll just go back to my room and lie down."

Boss Chen nodded and said, "Alright, go lie down. Lanlan and Dad will go out. I'll take you to catch dragonflies."

Lanlan immediately slipped off Chen Yan and walked out holding her father's hand. Seeing her daughter's cheerful look, Li Yan consoled herself in her heart: It's good that the child is with his father, so she won't be so sad when I leave in the future. Thinking of this, her guilt immediately eased a lot. She wondered what she could do. She was already married for the second time and had a child. Even if Liang Cheng agreed, his family would probably not agree. Thinking of Liang Cheng, she immediately felt sweet again. That man had really been waiting for her as he said before, and he had not married until now. To be honest, if she hadn't gone to the countryside, she would not have married so early. Fortunately, she was only twenty-six or twenty-seven years old now, not too old in the city, and she was born with a good appearance. Her appearance had not changed much. She thought she was still worthy of Liang Cheng. With a clear mind, she thought about how to write a letter to Liang Cheng. How did she know that Liang Cheng was unmarried? It turned out that there was a secret code hidden in the letter.
