The man in black intended to reach out and turn Gu Xin over.
Gu Xin pushed open the small bottle cap with her thumb. She felt her heart was about to jump out of her chest. Then she sat up, scattering powder with one hand and pulling a dagger from her foot with the other. Without hesitation, she plunged it into the black-clad man's heart.
The man in black reacted extremely quickly. As the powder was being thrown, he leaned back. Coincidentally, a small animal ran past him. Thinking it was a hidden weapon, he tried to turn around to avoid it, but Gu Xin's dagger pierced his right shoulder.
Gu Xin used her right hand to sprinkle powder and her left hand to hold a dagger.
The man in black grunted and grabbed Gu Xin's foot as she tried to escape.
