Chapter 1461 Sand Bandits

It's December now, and Gu Xin has been traveling with Cheng Huaijin and the others for several days. The delegation from the Flowing Sand Kingdom is waiting ahead of them.

"Xin Xin, the delegation from the Flowing Sand Kingdom is just ahead. When they arrive, no matter what they say, if it's anything unpleasant, you can curse them back, or even fight them! Don't be afraid, I'm here." In the distance, beside a sand dune, a group of people, carrying chess pieces from the Flowing Sand Kingdom, approached Gu Xin on a camel and gave her these instructions.

“Okay, Brother Jin.” Gu Xin nodded with a smile. “Don’t worry, I’m not the little village girl you used to know anymore. I won’t be bullied by anyone.”

"Mm." Cheng Huaijin nodded.

As they drew closer to the mission, Gu Xin showed no signs of nervousness.

"Prince, it looks like someone has attacked over there!" Just as Cheng Huaijin was about to give Gu Xin a few more instructions, his subordinate suddenly exclaimed.

Cheng Huaijin looked over and his expression changed immediately: "Oh no, it's the Sand Kobs."

In the past few days, Gu Xin has heard Cheng Huaijin talk about some of the situations in the desert.

These desert bandits were a group of ruthless robbers who specialized in robbing caravans in the desert. They were extremely vicious and cruel when they killed people.

She was ready for battle.

"Ah Da, Ah Er, you protect Gu San. Ah San and Ah Si, come with me and charge!" Cheng Huaijin made a decision immediately.

“Prince Ahai, no need! I know kung fu, I’ll fight alongside you!” Gu Xin shouted.

Cheng Huaijin glared at Gu Xin.

Gu Xin nodded to him, her eyes telling him to trust her.

Cheng Huaijin had no choice; he couldn't force someone to tie Xinxin up at this moment.

So, the group of six rushed over.

It was clear that the delegation from the Flowing Sand Kingdom was already at a disadvantage and was no match for the sand pirates.

Among the bandits, there were two particularly fierce individuals who could kill one person with a single strike.

By the time Cheng Huaijin and his group arrived, the bandits hadn't fled. They had already seen the six people. They weren't afraid of the large delegation from the Flowing Sand Kingdom, so why would they be afraid of this small team of six?

"Prince, Prince Ahai!" The delegation from the Flowing Sand Kingdom recognized Cheng Huaijin and shouted loudly.

The leader of the sand bandits was a tall, strong man dressed only in a short-sleeved shirt. His curly, bushy hair flew wildly across his head, and his face was covered in a thick beard. He held a large knife, which was stained with blood. He looked at the newcomers and said, "Damn it, we even managed to get a prince today! Good heavens! Brothers, charge!"

So all the bandits ignored the weaklings of the delegation and charged forward.

Gu Xin removed the sandbags from her hands and feet. In the desert, there was no shortage of sand, so she tied them back on. Holding the sword Cheng Huaijin had given her, she stood on the camel and leaped down.

Despite her small stature, she is agile. While she may not possess the superhuman strength of Gu Hui, her strength is no less than that of an average man.

With a stable lower body, the hands are even more stable, making swordplay not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly practical.

After dealing with one issue, Cheng Huaijin was still worried about Gu Xin. He turned around and was quite surprised. In just a few years, Xin Xin had really changed a lot.

Gu Xin had already been in close proximity to murder during the last Lantern Festival incident with Lu Zheng, and later experienced it again in the Goddess Kingdom, so she wasn't intimidated at all.

She swiftly brought down the knife, her eyes devoid of emotion, like a heartless machine.

She would never allow herself to get hurt. Her father had told her that when she encountered danger outside alone, protecting herself was the priority, and only then could she deal with the enemy.
