The masked man was at a loss for words.
He wanted to call out to Xue Qianyu, but the man left so readily that calling out to him would probably be useless. Judging from his attitude, he wanted to deal with Gu Nian himself. If he couldn't have her, he would destroy her!

He forced himself to calm down, picked up a stone and threw it at Gu Nian. The stone circled around the knot on Gu Nian's body a few times.
He was trembling slightly.
He climbed the tree again, walked to the nearly broken branch, and tied the other end to the trunk.
Taking a deep breath, Xue Qianyu pulled on the rope and walked over, heading towards Gu Nian as quickly as possible.
