Gu Xin really liked Li Muyan. Although things were a bit strange when they first met, after a few more interactions, she realized that this older brother was very capable, just like her sister, and knew a lot of things that ordinary people didn't.
She also felt that Gu Nian was smart in every way, except that he was a bit slow when it came to matters of the heart.

Enraged, Gu Ren kicked Gu En with his chubby little leg. Gu En dodged, and Gu Ren fell to the ground.
Gu Nian put the letter in the desk and came out.
Gu Ren reached out to hug him.
Gu Nian: "If you fall, get up on your own! Don't think you're a child just because you're a child!"
Gu En turned to look at Gu Nian: "Sister Nian, just bear with him, he's just a child. What do you mean 'really a child'? He's always been a child."
Gu Ren got up by himself and started laughing again.
Gu En held his chubby little hand: "Look, that's how kids are. They cry and laugh, the yellow dog pees, the rooster beats the gong, and the duck blows the horn!"
Gu Ren: ...
Gu Nian: "Hahaha, Enzi, you're absolutely right! Take him and go swing on the swing!"
Gu Ren held onto Gu Nian's feet tightly, saying, "No, it's hot."
Gu En: "No, it's too hot."
Gu Nian: "Then go to the kitchen and ask your mother and aunt to get you some food."
Gu Ren: "You cook, you eat."

After saying that, Gu Nian went inside and closed the door.
