The first place to look for it is Qi'an Inn.
The presence of the severed arm at Qi'an Inn indicates that the murderer must have visited the inn. Furthermore, based on Zheng Qiu's deduction, the severed arm appeared to have been cut off no more than a day prior, and shortly after the person's death.
In a single day, the murderer couldn't possibly be scattering body parts around carelessly.
Another point is the murderer's purpose in placing the severed arm at the Qi'an Inn. Why did he choose the Qi'an Inn? Instead of hiding it, he openly displayed it on the table.
How did he determine that someone would definitely check in tonight? Qi'an Inn has so many rooms, and they're not full. How did he choose that particular room?
Gu Xin led the dog, with Zheng Qiu and Lu Zheng walking on either side of her. All three of them were deep in thought.
They started their search from the first room on the upper floor, with the dog in tow.
The dog seemed to know what Gu Xin wanted to do. After sniffing Zheng Qiu's severed arm, it went into the room and sniffed around here and there.
Unfortunately, no.
Nothing unusual was found in the six rooms where they stayed.
Next up are the other people's rooms.
The rooms that were unoccupied were fine, but the rooms that were occupied were mostly frightened by Gu Xin's dog and had to run outside to avoid it until Gu Xin left with the dog before they dared to go back inside.
All the rooms in Qi'an Inn have been searched, but nothing has been found.
"Go to the kitchen!" Lu Zheng said.
"Hmm." That's exactly what Gu Xin was thinking too.
As a result, as soon as she walked from the hall to the doorway connecting to the backyard, the dog started barking incessantly and ran forward with all its might. If Gu Xin hadn't been strong, she would definitely have been dragged along with it.

The dog went into the kitchen and made its way to the cupboard.
The entire kitchen was cleaned up. Because of the incident at the inn, everyone except the guests had been called to the dining room, and there was no one in the kitchen at the moment.
The dog kept barking under the cupboard and even tried to jump up.
Gu Xin reached out to open the cabinet, but Lu Zheng beat her to it: "I'll do it. You two should be prepared."
Gu Xin and Zheng Qiu nodded.
Before Lu Zheng could even open the cupboard door, Gu En rushed in: "Did you find it? Did you find it? Let me see."
When he ran up to Gu Xin, he was standing right next to Lu Zheng, who had just opened the cabinet door.
His eyes were fixed on the cabinet when suddenly a human head appeared, pale-faced and bleeding from all seven orifices. Gu En was standing right in front of the head.
He paused for a moment, then suddenly felt nauseous.
She hurriedly covered her mouth and ran outside.
The barking of dogs in the kitchen and Gu En's vomiting outside made the kitchen, which was usually empty, seem unusually lively.
Gu Xin, Lu Zheng, and Zheng Qiu all felt a bit sorry for Gu En. Why didn't this kid just ask questions outside? Why did he have to come and watch the show?
Just watch the show; you even stood in such a perfect spot, face to face with people.
Lu Zheng, who opened the cabinet door, wasn't standing directly in front of them; he was positioned to the side.
