Gu Nian took off her straw hat and put it aside. The carriage was full of water because of her getting on.
Gu Nian glared at Li Muyan: "Are you stupid? We let you get on the bus, why did you get out and get soaked in the rain!"
Li Muyan suddenly pulled Gu Nian into his arms.
Gu Nian struggled and said, "I was wearing a raincoat, and it was soaked. You got it wet!"
Li Muyan hugged Gu Nian tightly: "Even if you're wearing embroidered clothes, I'll still hold you tight. I'm scared. Nian Nian, I'm scared. I saw you go into Zhou Yuan's house, and I was scared. Li Muyan held Gu Nian tightly, and even through the raincoat and their clothes, Gu Nian could still feel his rapid heartbeat.
She didn't know how to answer that question; it was just unwarranted jealousy.
She pushed Li Muyan away.
Li Muyan looked at her cautiously, his eyes filled with the pitiful look of a puppy.
Gu Nian smiled, waved, and then Li Muyan moved closer.
Li Muyan leaned closer, and Gu Nian said very seriously, "Li Muyan, even if all the men in the world died, I would never have anything to do with Zhou Yuan. I swear, if I ever have any romantic relationship with him, may I be struck by lightning and die a horrible death. Now you can rest assured!"
Li Muyan's body stiffened, and then his face visibly turned red. Such a vicious oath! It seems that Nian Nian really doesn't think much of Zhou Yuan. He looked at Gu Nian with burning eyes and couldn't help but want to go over to her.

When they arrived at the second house, Ah Dong somehow managed to swerve the carriage and it crashed into the dirt below.
In front of the second house was a flat area, and further ahead was farmland. There was a ledge about the height of a person, and the person and the vehicle fell off it.
Now Gu Nian and Li Muyan were covered in mud as they got out of the car and climbed onto the embankment.
Gu Nian once again gained a deep understanding of Li Muyan's bad luck; how could he slip in such a wide place in front of the door?
After entering the house, Gu Nian asked Gu Xin to find a set of Gu Shouxin's clothes for Li Muyan to change into, and she also changed and washed herself.
Gu Xin teased Li Muyan, "Brother Muyan, from now on I can call you Brother Mu Ni!"
