"Then I'll be going now!" Uncle Gu nodded and went directly from the second branch of the family to the field.

In the county government's carriage, Lu Zheng and Gu Shouxin sat facing each other, with two yamen runners on either side of them, and two yamen runners driving the carriage from the outside.
"Second Uncle, do you need to pee?" Lu Zheng asked, curious about Gu Shouxin's calm demeanor.
The constables just saw him and Gu Shouxin at his doorstep. They told him the crime and were about to arrest them. He tried to resist, but Gu Shouxin pulled him back.
The two obediently followed, and Gu Shouxin didn't even give him a heads-up beforehand. He was really curious!
He knew Gu Shouxin couldn't have cheated; it must have been the Cheng family who framed him. But why didn't you say anything beforehand, looking so calm? And you didn't even let me protest.
"You brat, don't try anything funny!" The constable beside him drew his broadsword and pointed it at him menacingly.
"Brother, you're carrying a big knife and you're scaring my nephew! Please put it away!" Gu Shouxin glanced at the man.
"Hmph!" The man snorted coldly, disregarding his promise.
"Ah Yuan!" Gu Shouxin smiled.
"Second Uncle, tell me! Do you need to pee?" Lu Zheng asked, perking up.
Gu Shouxin smirked: "You're the heir of a Duke's mansion, what's with all the urination? Has your stepmother mistreated you and made you weak?"
"Shut up!" The man next to Gu Shouxin drew his knife and pointed it at him, glaring at him fiercely.
"Enough! Point your knife at me, why point it at my second uncle? Aren't you afraid of frightening the scholars?" Lu Zheng shifted his body and looked at the constable opposite him who was pointing a knife at Gu Shouxin.
As soon as he finished speaking, Lu Zheng took action.
He kicked away the knife that was pointing at Gu Shouxin, then grabbed the hand of the constable next to him, snatched the knife from him, and pulled Gu Shouxin out of the carriage: "Second Uncle, what are your plans? Tell me!"
The two stood still outside the car, not running away. Lu Zheng held a knife, and the constables were intimidated by his skill and dared not make a move.
