Although her hair was dry, it hadn't been washed properly, and the hairband had been washed away in the sea, leaving her hair somewhat tangled.
She saw some vines nearby, ran over and plucked a small section, then tidied her hair, smoothed it a little, and gathered it all up in a bun.

The two walked hand in hand on the beach, seemingly in a good mood.
