"Is that where the Sand Kobs' lair is?" Gu Xin asked, tightening her grip.
The big mole's eyes were almost bulging out; he truly felt death, and he nodded without hesitation.
Gu Xin used her other hand to take a pill out of her bosom, put it into the mouth of the wide-open mole, and then let go.
"Cough cough cough cough..." Big Mole breathed in the fresh air and coughed a few times, but did not retaliate immediately.
"What she gave you is a poison that kills overnight. Without the antidote, you'll die from the poison in just one night!" Cheng Huaijin said as he saw him about to make his move.
Gu Xin couldn't speak such long sentences; in Da Zhou dialect, she was afraid the big mole wouldn't understand.
The man with the large mole looked at the two of them in horror.
Because of the language barrier, Gu Xin plans to cultivate a cool and aloof persona, and she intends to gradually learn the local language.
"Do you feel like there are thousands of insects tearing at your internal organs right now?" Cheng Huaijin asked again.
Da Mozi tried to vomit the swallowed pill by gagging his throat, but he couldn't.
"I'll give you two choices: one, go back and wait to die; two, obey her and listen to her!" Cheng Huaijin pointed at Gu Xin.
Gu Xin glanced coldly at the large mole.
The large mole was in so much pain that he was sweating profusely. Finally, he knelt down and kowtowed, saying, "I am willing to listen to you two. Please give me the antidote."
Gu Xin didn't need to understand what he was saying; she understood just by looking at his actions.
Cheng Huaijin said, "I'll give you the antidote tonight. Now, I'll ask you questions, and you'll answer them. If you deliberately lie, I'll keep you in this state every day."
The large mole was causing him so much pain that he felt dizzy and lightheaded: "Excuse me."
Cheng Huaijin asked, "How many of your bandits are there currently?"
Da Zhizi: "Forty-nine!"
Cheng Huaijin then asked, "Where is your real hideout? How many people are there in total?"
The man with the large mole did not answer immediately. After thinking for a moment, he said, "Jianghai Kingdom. There are currently two hundred and sixty-seven people in total."
Cheng Huaijin continued, "How many people in your team are injured now? How many are capable of fighting?"
The large mole throbbed in pain, causing him to collapse onto the sand: "The antidote...it hurts..."
Gu Xin took out another pill from her bosom and threw it in front of Da Weizi. Da Weizi, as if he hadn't eaten for days, picked it up and, without caring whether there was still sand in his hands, put it directly into his mouth.
After swallowing it, he felt much better instantly.
Cheng Huaijin sneered: "This can only cure you temporarily. If you try anything funny, you will run out of antidote in six hours and die in excruciating pain. Before you die completely, the fragrance emanating from your body after taking the pill will attract thousands of snakes, insects, and rodents in the desert."
The large mole trembled with fear, and any lingering thoughts that had arisen in her mind were immediately dispelled.
The man with the large mole said, "Please tell me what you need me to do?"
Cheng Huaijin: "Aren't you going to put up a fight? You just betrayed your brothers like that? I can't possibly hire someone like you!"

The man with the large mole said sincerely, "You have the medicine. I'm afraid of dying, and I dare not betray you."
