By mid-June, the imperial court had made a decision and selected officials to go to Jinnan Prefecture. Because Jinnan had voluntarily submitted, the emperor did not change its name, but simply changed the country to a prefecture.
Uncle Gu, who had been in the capital for more than half a month, was also eager to return home and couldn't wait to leave.
That day, the emperor found Uncle Gu and urged him to persuade the Empress Dowager to go to Kuncheng as well.
