Chapter 1697 Wounded

The two soldiers fell to the ground, and Gu Xin landed. A gust of wind blew from behind her. Without thinking, she leaned back, braced herself with her hands, and easily did a backflip, placing her feet on Queen Yunhai's shoulders. Using the strength of her waist, she hooked her legs around Queen Yunhai's neck and stood up.

Queen Yunhai had never seen anything like this on the battlefield before. Wasn't this the kind of flexibility that only women who studied to dance possessed?

Gu Xin didn't care about all that. I did a lot of leg stretching when I was learning kung fu, and my mother took me to practice yoga a lot.

She held Queen Yunhai's head in her arms, but Queen Yunhai's teeth bit her hand, which hurt a lot, as if they were about to bite off a piece of her flesh.

But she endured it, holding Queen Yunhai's head and twisting it forcefully. Queen Yunhai fell down, and Gu Xin felt a tearing pain in her hand; her flesh had really been bitten off.

After landing on the ground, she didn't even have time to check her wounds. She picked up the weapon with her uninjured hand and rushed over to help Cheng Huaijin.

Subsequently, more and more soldiers from the Cloud Sea flocked in.

Gu Xin pulled Cheng Huaijin: "Brother, I suspect Yunhai already knows we've joined forces. This is reinforcements. Let's all retreat!"

Cheng Huaijin also noticed this problem.

Similarly, Helian Yi and Peng Erlang also noticed it.

Helian Yi blew his whistle, and their Goz's messenger hawk arrived. It snatched a piece of cloth from Helian Yi's battle armor and flew away again. The archers in the clouds couldn't hit it at all. That hawk was too cunning; its flight path was never straight, as if it were taking a stroll.

"Let's go, retreat!"

The Great Zhou army and the Gaozi army retreated.

As Gu Xin mounted her horse, she saw from afar that the leader of the reinforcements was none other than Bai Er. She smiled knowingly, realizing that riding a horse was no longer as fast as she had imagined.

As expected, White Two hastily gathered a group of Goz soldiers and then stopped his men. The reason was simple: he had discovered the Queen's head and body.

Not only did the queen die, but the four generals who served her also died.

Once this news spread, the morale of Yunhai's army plummeted.

You must understand, before the seventh princess was born, their queen was a myth in their hearts, an invincible goddess. Even the queen is dead...

...

"Why didn't you say you were injured? This piece of flesh is all gone!" Cheng Huaijin frowned when he returned to Gaoz and noticed that Gu Xin's hand was injured.

"It's alright, I traded this piece of my flesh for Queen Yunhai's life!" Gu Xin said nonchalantly.

"Where's your medicine?" Cheng Huaijin asked after someone had fetched hot water.

"Hey, bro, don't scold me. Isn't getting injured a common occurrence on the battlefield? It would be strange if I didn't get hurt at all!" Gu Xin stuck out her tongue.

Cheng Huaijin stared at Gu Xin in surprise, and suddenly he thought of Xiao Yu.

Xin Xin and Xiao Yu don't look alike at all, and Xiao Yu doesn't stick out her tongue, but he inexplicably thought of Xiao Yu.

"Brother?" Gu Xin waved her hand when she saw Cheng Huaijin in a daze.

"Give me the medicine." Cheng Huaijin snapped out of his daze and reached out his hand.

Gu Xin handed him the medicine.

Okay, let's not let this flesh grow too fast, or people will find it strange. Let's just wrap it up with regular medicine and let it heal slowly.

Cheng Huaijin waited for the hot water, and Peng Erlang brought some strong liquor to clean Gu Xin's arm and apply medicine.

Gu Xin had never been in so much pain before. She bit down on a wad of cloth, and cold sweat broke out on her forehead.

"Damn the Yunhai Tribe! I'm not going back to Da Zhou until I bring them down! I'll fight them to the death!" Gu Xin said angrily after applying the medicine.
