Chapter 50 Are you looking down on me, Fat Tiger?

Han Ye glanced at the woman in the back seat staring intently at her phone in the rearview mirror and asked again, "Hey, what's your name?"

Qiao Nansheng didn't even look up: "None of your business."

"..."

"Ugh, you woman!" Han Ye was furious. He glared at Qiao Nansheng, wanting to curse, but then he was afraid she was pretending not to know him. He didn't want her to have anything against him, so he suppressed the urge to curse and said in a gentle tone, "Do you know who I am?"

"Mm." Qiao Nansheng nodded and read out the information she had found to him word for word.

Seeing that her eyes were glued to her phone screen and she was simply reading from information on Baidu, Han Ye couldn't help but ask suspiciously, "You really don't know who I am?"

"I mean, you really didn't know me before Baidu existed?"

Qiao Nansheng rolled her eyes. "You're not Chairman Mao, why should I need to know you?"

Han Ye: "That's not what I meant."

"oh."

That concludes the discussion.

Han Ye realized that he couldn't have a conversation with this woman at all, so he had no choice but to shut up and drive the car back the way he came.

This is a rural area on the outskirts of the main urban area. It rained last night, and the soil is damp.

The car rolled over the mud twice, and by the time it finally got out and parked on the main road, the tires and body were covered in mud and were completely unrecognizable.

"Where do you live? I'll take you home." Han Ye asked as he took some food from the passenger seat and tossed it behind him. "Are you hungry? Here, have something to eat."

Qiao Nansheng took the chocolate, said thank you, and took out a bag of chocolates. Just as she was about to start eating, she heard Han Ye's voice: "Imported German chocolate, haven't tried it before? It tastes great."

This might just be Han Ye's usual way of speaking, but to Qiao Nansheng, it sounded somewhat sarcastic.

She silently put the chocolate back and didn't eat it.

"Don't you want chocolate?" Han Ye, completely unaware of what he had said that offended Qiao Nansheng, blinked, assuming she was on a diet, and added, "There are potato chips in there too, imported from Korea, the taste is alright..."

Qiao Nansheng: "Are you looking down on me, Fatty Tiger?"

"Huh?" Han Ye looked completely bewildered. "What?"

"German imported chocolate, haven't tried it before? It tastes amazing." Qiao Nansheng repeated what he had just said verbatim, her tone sarcastic.

Han Ye remained silent.

Knowing that his words might have been somewhat discriminatory, Han Ye spoke up to explain, "Actually, I didn't mean that. I just wanted to treat you to something."

"Then shut up." Qiao Nansheng took out the chocolate again and glanced at the contents of the bag. "I've tried everything in here, so I don't need you to tell me."

"..." Okay.

Han Ye shut his mouth and, as expected, said nothing more.

Half an hour later, the car entered the city center.

While Han Ye was waiting at a traffic light, he picked up his hat and mask from the seat, put them on, and asked her again, "Where do you live?"

"Waterside Pavilion and Clouds," Qiao Nansheng said, munching on potato chips. "Just walk me to the door."

If Zhou Cheng saw her getting out of another man's car, who knows what he would do.

Han Ye suddenly turned around, his eyes wide open.

"You still say you don't know me! You liar!"
