Chapter 59. Shelved, must be shelved!

"..."

Zhou Cheng gripped his chopsticks tightly. After enduring it for a while, he found her laughter and Han Ye's voice increasingly grating and couldn't take it anymore. He reached out and took her phone away.

"Don't look, you can look after you finish eating."

"What's wrong with me eating and watching a variety show? Is it bothering you?" Qiao Nansheng frowned and snatched the phone back. "Mind your own business."

She huffed and puffed up a lot of food in her bowl, then took her phone and went to the sofa, turned on the TV, found "Man vs. Wild," and started watching.

This made the sound even louder.

Zhou Cheng ate his meal with a bitter taste, his expression unpleasant.

It must be shelved, absolutely must be shelved!

He immediately ordered Han Ye to be blacklisted, just to see how he would manage to film variety shows!

Qiao Nansheng spent the entire weekend at home, never leaving the house, and constantly watching survival shows on her phone.

The two seasons that were filmed totaled 32 episodes, each three hours long. She stayed up late at night watching them at double speed and finally finished watching them at 3:30 a.m. on Monday.

However, because she slept too late, she woke up the next morning with dark circles under her eyes and looked listless.

Zhou Cheng sneered, "Finished reading?"

The two didn't sleep in the same room. She slept in the master bedroom, while Zhou Cheng slept on his side every night. However, he was a light sleeper and had to work hard, so he always went to bed very late. When he went downstairs to get water in the middle of the night, he could still hear laughter coming from the master bedroom.

Zhou Cheng wondered bitterly what was so charming about Han Ye.

"Mmm." Qiao Nansheng nodded weakly, walked to the dining table, sat down, and began to eat breakfast.

Zhou Cheng sat opposite her and asked casually, "You seem to really like that variety show? How about I participate in one episode?"

Qiao Nansheng's mind was foggy, and she didn't hear what he said at all. She just mumbled an "uh-huh" and lowered her head to drink her soy milk.

Zhou Cheng could tell from her expression that she hadn't listened to him. His face turned cold. Because he was annoyed, he deliberately ate all of Qiao Nansheng's favorite seafood wontons, leaving none for her.

Qiao Nansheng, who had just gone to drink soy milk: "..."

"That's mine!" She clenched her fist, glaring at him angrily.

"Hmm, so what?"

So! He still has the nerve to ask her "so"?

Qiao Nansheng gritted her teeth: "If you want to eat this, why don't you ask Liu Xu to make it for you?"

She specifically told Liu Xu last night that she would cook a small batch of wontons this morning because she hadn't eaten them in a long time and missed them terribly. However, before she could even take a bite, she gave them all to Zhou Cheng.

That scoundrel.

She's so angry!

"I don't know." Zhou Cheng said matter-of-factly. Looking at the little woman's indignant and angry expression, he calmly asked, "Should I ask Liu Xu to cook another serving?"

"No more!" Qiao Nansheng slammed her hand on the table, downed the soy milk in one gulp, slammed the cup down, grabbed her bag from the sofa, and walked out.

"Sheng Zhuo, take me to school."

Zhou Cheng was left alone in the living room.

He stared in the direction Qiao Nansheng had left, then looked down at the untouched noodles in front of him, and suddenly lost his appetite.

Actually, the portion of wontons was very small, just the amount Qiao Nansheng usually ate. She has a small stomach and can't eat much; it wasn't even enough to fill Zhou Cheng's teeth.

He sat in the chair for a moment, then suddenly stood up and walked out, disappearing from the living room in no time.

Liu Xu peeked out from the kitchen and watched Zhou Cheng leave dejectedly. She couldn't help but sigh. Brother Cheng had finally finished filming and returned, but he and his wife were arguing every three days and having big arguments every five days. This was not the case before. No matter how dissatisfied his wife was, she would never show it on her face.
