"Nansheng, I took leave to come back, and I'm leaving soon." Zhou Cheng leaned down slightly, getting closer to her again. Not long after Zhou Cheng left, a girl of about twenty years old came in. This was Liu Xu, whom Zhou Cheng had mentioned.
She rushed in excitedly: "Madam, you're finally awake! You scared me to death! I only went out to buy some groceries and you were already in the hospital. Thank goodness you're alright, otherwise... Madam, are you hungry? Let me feed you!"
As she spoke, she opened the thermos, and the aroma immediately filled the ward, making Qiao Nansheng's stomach rumble with hunger.
She was sore and weak all over, and had difficulty moving around, so she let Liu Xu feed her.
