Chapter 284 New Residence (Part 1)

Chapter 284 New Residence (Part 1)

Early the next morning, Gervis had just gotten up when there was a knock on the door. It was his unreliable sister.

Gervis, who was neatly dressed, opened the door and looked towards the entrance. Bonita and Vivian were standing there prettily.

"Brother, are you feeling better?"

It was Bonita who asked the question, but looking at her smiling face, Gervis didn't seem to be genuinely concerned. Vivian, on the other hand, looked concerned, but was just too embarrassed to speak for a moment.

"I was injured just last night, how can I heal so quickly? Tell me, what do you want from me?"

Gervis knew that this girl would not come to him for no reason, and that she must have something waiting for him, so he asked in a bad mood.

"It's nothing! Didn't you get two Pokémons yesterday? Can you let us play with them? We haven't touched a Pokémon yet!"

Bonita said excitedly.

Gervis heaved a sigh of relief when he heard this. He thought Bonita came to him to go shopping again.

It was easy to take a look at the elves, since they were in the room anyway, and Gervis was just about to give the two elves a new name.

I was so focused on studying my system last night that I forgot to check on the only two elves I currently own.

"Come in! The elf is in my room!"

Gervis made way and Bonita rushed in immediately without even waiting for Vivian.

"Grevith, does it still hurt?"

Vivian walked in and asked quietly as she passed by Gervis.

"It doesn't hurt anymore, you'll be able to recover in a while!"

Vivian was different from that little girl Bonita. Gervis responded to her concern in a gentle tone.

"kindness!"

Vivian nodded and then walked towards the house.

After both of them entered the guest room, Gervis closed the door again and walked into the living room.

The jade boxes of the two elves and the jade boxes of the three elf bugs were placed on the table in the living room. At this moment, Bonita had already started to open the jade boxes on her own.

The jade box containing the elf was opened, and immediately a little elf in a blue skirt jumped out and flew into the air, looking at Bonita vigilantly.

Then the elf shifted his gaze to Gervis. After seeing Gervis, he immediately flapped his little wings and flew to Gervis' shoulder, stretching out half of his little head to secretly look at Bonita and Vivian.

After signing the contract with Gervis, the little guy naturally became close to Gervis. As for Bonita, she was too excited and probably scared the elf with her big movements.

"Don't be afraid, little one, they just want to play with you!"

Gervis touched the little guy's head and spoke slowly.

"By the way, we need to give you a name first. Let's call you Dale!"

"Dale...Dale..."

When the little guy heard the new name that Gervis had given him, he immediately started spinning in the air with joy, calling his own name over and over in a childish voice.

Compared to the elf bug, the elf has undergone tremendous changes. Except for its body shape and wings, it is almost indistinguishable from humans. However, the elf still cannot speak.

They can only make some simple syllables such as babbling and giggling. The most complex word that elves can say is probably their own name, which is also their characteristic.

"Dale, come over here, I have something delicious!"

Bonita, who was sitting at the table, looked at Gervis with envy, and kept calling out to Dale in the air. She even took out a piece of exquisite little cake in her hand, trying to use it to seduce Dale.

Gervis didn't care about them and went straight to the table. He opened the jade box of the purple elf and named it: Sili.

As for the other three purple elf bugs, Gervis' names were even simpler: Nice, Neo, and Nimi. These were the names Gervis gave them.

It's not Gervis's fault for being so casual. It's his fault for asking them to huddle together and sign a mastership contract with him. Gervis's naming is his weak point. It's really not easy for him to come up with five names at once.

Bonita Vivian was playing with the elves, and Gervis went to the bathroom to wash up. About ten minutes later, there was a knock on Gervis' door again.

"Good morning, Lord Gervis!"

When Gervis opened the door again, the person who appeared was the castle's housekeeper Lina. Lina was wearing a slim but rigorous butler's uniform. She looked extremely capable, but not very energetic.

Gervis guessed that Lina must not have gotten much rest last night. After all, there was such a big mistake in the castle, and Lina had a lot to do.

"Lina, good morning! What's going on?"

"Sir, this is the title deed to the Luoer Mansion. We have already checked it, so we are handing it over to you now. You can check it out anytime."

"Okay, thank you, Lina!"

Gervis took the deed from Lina and said a word of thanks.

He originally thought it would take at least several days, but he didn't expect it to be so efficient that it was completed in one night.

After all, Rawl was rebelling, so before the mansion was handed over to Gervis it certainly needed to be inspected and searched to see if there were any other items related to the incident.

"Sir, I won't bother you any more! I'll take my leave now!"

Lina bowed respectfully to Gervis before heading towards the stairs.

After watching Lina leave, Gervis walked into the house with the title deed, but just as he reached the living room, Bonita grabbed his arm again.

"Brother, let me see it! Let me see it! This is the big house in Winterfell! I heard it's very luxurious, isn't it!"

Vivian and Bonita heard clearly the conversation between Gervis and Lina.

In this world, Winterfell is almost the same as the emperor in the capital city in the eyes of Bonita and others. Owning a mansion here is no less than owning a luxurious villa in the center of Kyoto.

"Hmph! Hmph! At first, Sena always boasted in front of me that her sister married into Winterfell, lived in the east district of Winterfell, and owned a house with a small garden. Now my brother has a big mansion. Let me see how I will scold her when I go back this time."

Bonita looked at the title deed for a long time but couldn't figure out what it meant. She was not familiar with Winterfell at all. Even if the address was written on it, she couldn't tell from the title deed what Gerves's mansion looked like.

But last night I heard from my father and others that it should be quite luxurious, so Bonita is ready to take this news back to the "countryside" to compete with those noble ladies.

Even Vivian, who was standing by, had her eyes brightened when she heard Bonita's words. It was obvious that she had heard the noble lady named Sena bragging a lot.

"Brother, how about you take us to have a look at your new house? We will be going back in two days, and we don't know when we can come to Winterfell again. If you take us to have a look now, we will be able to find the place when we come to Winterfell later."

Bonita's mind worked quickly and her mouth kept talking. She had a completely different personality from Vivian beside her. Gervis really didn't know how they became good sisters.

"Vivian, do you think I'm right?"

Bonita was afraid that Gervis would not agree, so she immediately pulled Vivian aside to add some weight to her request.

Gervis was a little speechless. The last time Bonita came to him to ask her to go shopping with them, she used the same trick and dragged Vivian along to convince him.

However, Gervis was indeed a little curious about his new mansion. Although he usually lived in the castle in Stormwind, it felt nice to have a mansion in Winterfell.

After all, the country where Gervis lived in his previous life had a mysterious yearning for houses. Even if there were too many houses, they would not be dissatisfied. They wished they could move into a new one every day, all over the country.

Although Gervis is now a lord and does not have such a strong need in this regard, it is still necessary for him to check and recognize the door.

"Okay, but I have to check on my men after breakfast, so you guys go get ready first!"

"Yeah! Brother, you're the best! Weiweian, come on, let's go back and pick out a beautiful hat first!"

Bonita and Vivian left Gervis's guest room happily.

After Vivian and Bonita left, Gervis called Pat to have breakfast together, and then came to the wooden house near the stable in the front yard.

Because the wooden houses originally used for Ik and the slave soldiers to live in were basically destroyed by the orcs, all the guards and servants brought by the guests were arranged here. The houses here were originally used to store fodder, but they can be lived in immediately after being cleaned up.

When Gervis came to Ik's residence, Ik was fiddling with plaster. Although the technology in this world was not well developed, it did not mean that people were stupid. Gervis had demonstrated it himself yesterday, and Ik had already learned how to make plaster molds to help fix the wounds of soldiers with broken bones.

Although it may not be useful, it is better to give it a try. This is Gervis's idea. At least things will not get worse.

After briefly instructing the slave soldiers and injured guards to have a good rest, Gervis took Ik and six other guards to check out his new mansion.
