Bang bang bang!
A loud applause broke out in the yard of the Orange House, interrupting everyone who was savoring the moment. Everyone looked at Zhang Zhiqin in astonishment.
"I'm so touched. I didn't expect that I could be part of such a great program. Wow, I'm so lucky!"
Zhang Zhiqin sat there alone, clapping and feeling moved by himself, while Fang Xiaole, who was sitting next to him, silently moved his chair away, trying to stay as far away from him as possible.
"Actually, I think..."
A staff member suddenly said, "It seems our episode is really good this time?"
"I think so too." Another staff member immediately echoed.
"Yeah, I just watched it online on my phone. There were so many comments, and they were all praising our show."
Someone showed the phone screen to the person next to him. With some anticipation and hesitation, he asked Xiaole and Luo Hui:
"Director Luo, Director Fang, is it possible for this episode..."
He didn't finish his words, but everyone else knew what he meant. They couldn't help but look at Luo Hui and Fang Xiaole, hoping to hear confirmation from the two directors on their bold guess.
"Well, the audience and the data have the final say on whether the show is good or not. Our self-satisfaction is nothing."
Luo Hui touched his bald head, waved his hand calmly, stood up and walked out of the Orange House:
"Everyone, go away. We still have to work tomorrow morning."
Amidst dozens of admiring gazes, Luo Hui walked out of the orange house calmly.
After walking a few hundred meters and out of sight, he suddenly jumped up:
"This episode is so fucking great! There's hope, there's hope!"
Luo Hui was so excited that he was incoherent. It was unknown whether the "hopeful" he mentioned meant to top the ratings, or a more ambitious goal than that.
In short, Director Luo couldn't sleep that night...
An unknown amount of time passed, but as the roosters in the village crowed and the sky began to brighten, Luo Hui got up, holding his cell phone, and silently waited for 8:30 in the morning, when the data department of the station would start working.
