"It depends on the situation. I haven't completely agreed with you being Lin Yao's boyfriend yet!"
"Oh, I see." Fang Xiaole agreed with pursed lips.
Why is this arrogant future father-in-law so funny?
"Okay, I should go now."
Lin Duanzheng had just taken a step when he stopped and stretched out his hand towards Fang Xiaole with a somewhat stiff movement, saying solemnly:
"Lin Yao has a soft personality and is easily bullied. Please take good care of her."
Fang Xiaole straightened his back, stretched out his hand and shook hands with Lin Duanzheng, and replied solemnly:
"Uncle, don't worry. I value Lin Yao more than myself!"
Lin Duanzheng seemed to have not expected Fang Xiaole to say that. He nodded and raised his hand to pat Fang Xiaole on the shoulder.
"well!"
The two men smiled at each other.
"Dad, it's time to go through security."
Lin Yao shouted from not far away.
Lin Duanzheng turned and walked towards the security checkpoint. Suddenly, he turned around and whispered to Fang Xiaole, "Has Lin Yao's mother contacted you?"
Fang Xiaole was slightly stunned and shook his head.
"Um."
Lin Duanzheng whispered, "Don't tell Lin Yao that I asked about her mother."
He then took the suitcase, said goodbye to Lin Yao, and walked into the security check.
"Dad, take care of yourself. I'll be waiting for you in Kyoto."
Looking at her father's upright figure and slightly graying temples, Lin Yao suddenly shouted to Lin Duanzheng.
Lin Duanzheng paused, turned around to look at Lin Yao, opened his mouth slightly, and revealed a rare smile.
I waved goodbye, passed security, turned around and walked into the waiting hall.
"My dad laughed..."
Lin Yao looked at her father's back, and her voice suddenly choked.
"I haven't seen my dad smile in years. Yeah, that's nice."
