"I won't talk nonsense with you anymore." Hong Sanshi's voice became serious:
"Actually, I don't know if it's too early to congratulate you. You didn't stay in the super challenge and ran to an inexplicably unpopular slot. If you do well, it's awesome, but if you don't, your future will be miserable."
Fang Xiaole asked curiously, "Brother Hong, aren't you well-informed? How come you don't know?"
"Know what?"
Fang Xiaole chuckled and said, "This unpopular show might very well invite you as a regular guest. Didn't your source tell you?"
"Fuck! You stinky little brother, you tricked me!"
Hong Sanshi couldn't stand it anymore and started yelling:
"Let me make it clear first, we may be familiar with each other, but I won't be participating in this kind of unpopular variety show! Doing variety shows is tiring and hard. If no one watches it when I finish it, where will my reputation as Old Hong be?"
Fang Xiaole asked calmly, "What if it becomes popular?"
"Bullshit!" Hong Sanshi said unhappily.
"It's not the weekend. Who has time to watch variety shows on Thursday night? And it's 10 o'clock, so late. You think the audience is stupid, unless your show is better than Super Challenge!"
"What if the audience really thinks it's no worse than Super Challenge?"
Fang Xiaole smiled and said, "I wrote the plan for this new program. I have confidence in it."
Hong Sanshi was silent for a moment, still somewhat skeptical:
"So what if you wrote it? I don't believe you can come up with a better show than Super Challenge, unless... you show me the program plan first."
"You haven't accepted the invitation, and you're not a member of the production team. The station has regulations and you can't show it to outsiders."
Fang Xiaole said with a smile, and sure enough, Hong Sanshi's curiosity was aroused.
"I won't embarrass you. I'll go find Chen Zhao and ask for it! Just wait a moment!"
Hong Sanshi hung up the phone and probably went to ask Director Chen for the program plan.
Half an hour later, Hong Sanshi called again, and the first sentence he said was:
"You're great, this show is fun, I'll take it!"
