Chapter 59: Ai Zhe was captured and taken to Aiglas's bedroom
Noson's wounds required regular dressing.
Egglas gritted his teeth, his jawline tensed, and his muscles twitched slightly.
He held his head high, still looking at them in the cage.
The nutrients from the natural plants have been almost absorbed, so new callus plants must be added to continue applying medicine to Northen.
Egglas glanced at them sideways and walked around them twice.
"You'd better cooperate with me, and I will give you benefits."
As he spoke, he stood in front of Ai Zhe, looking down at him with an oppressive and domineering aura, his teeth clenched.
Ai Zhe stared at the ground with an indifferent expression, not even looking up at him, as if he was just a piece of rubbish on the roadside.
Eglas gritted his teeth again.
"If you still want to bandage and change his dressing, please stay with me tonight. If his wound is not treated in time, it will soon become infected again."
Ai Zhe was stunned for a moment, with a mixture of shock and discomfort. He frowned and looked at Noson with heartache.
Northen's lips turned pale, but he just shook his head at him, telling him not to worry and not to believe Egglas's nonsense.
But the wound did begin to bleed again, and the blood was showing through the bandages.
“Shameless!”
When Northen thought of Egglas using his injury to threaten Aizhe, he couldn't help but curse Egglas in the cage.
Ai Zhe looked at the wound on Northen's arm with a tense expression.
Northam's arm injury is no joke. The wound is already showing signs of inflammation and swelling, and it cannot be delayed any further.
"I won't let you go with him."
Noson endured the wound that had begun to become infected, and with a hint of panic in his voice, he reached out and grabbed Aizhe's arm.
Ai Zhe held his arm in reverse, shook his head gently, and signaled him not to speak for the time being.
Noson gritted his teeth and shut up.
"You are not allowed to agree to his other requests."
Ai Zhe did not respond, but just held his hand and patted it, as if asking him to stay here and bandage the wound to heal first.
He lowered his head to look at Northen's bleeding wound, gritted his teeth, frowned, and looked depressed and ugly.
Then he pursed his lips, frowned and looked at the ground, never looking at the white-haired man.
Bring him out.
Eglas ordered, his voice cold.
Several insect soldiers, half the size of adults, responded, walked to the cage and opened the door.
They said they would hold him up, but in fact they were just standing on both sides symbolically and let him walk out by himself.
But Ai Zhe was still bound by chains.
Ai Zhe gritted his teeth and glanced at the insect soldiers with a vigilant expression.
These insect soldiers were originally humans before being transformed, and they still retained human emotions and advanced thinking. However, now that they have become spider bodies, they can no longer speak human language.
The insect soldier stood there, waiting for Ai Zhe to come out of the cage by himself.
Ai Zhe gritted his teeth, looked at Northen worriedly, frowned and said nothing.
Walked out of the cage.
The nest is intricately designed, with interlaced rock formations and walls covered in creepy wet vines.
Apparently the layer they were placed on was not a deep one.
It is one of the shallower layers where sunlight can reach.
Only a little sunlight can get through.
They got some natural plants and lit them, and the flames illuminated the maze-like insect nest.
You can see some stacked experimental equipment, which should be left over from previous experiments on these spiders and humans.
Busy fighting spiders and nanny spiders shuttled back and forth, and small reconnaissance spiders crawled quickly along the wall of the cave.
The remains of those who were part of the Pan-Continental Alliance had long been buried 10,000 to 20,000 meters underground. Only their brains had been specially processed and transplanted into spider bodies.
It can be regarded as another way for the soul and mind to continue life.
Looking at their busy figures in the insect nest, Ai Zhe's mind was tense and his mood was complicated.
The combat spiders are responsible for guarding all areas of the Abandoned Valley Hive, the nanny spiders are responsible for daily life, and the reconnaissance spiders are responsible for various monitoring and detection on the surface, transmitting information to Egglas or executing his instructions in real time.
Eglas walked in front of him, and the insect soldiers surrounded Ai Zhe and restrained him with iron chains.
Let him follow Egglas to his "bedroom" obediently.
The Zerg don't need lights to live in their underground nests. It was only because of Ai Zhe's arrival that they lit plant candles and old lamps they found from somewhere on the rock wall.
Aizhe was taken to Egglas's "bedroom".
It is called a "sleeping palace", but it is actually just a slightly larger cave.
The Zerg have now formed their own social system and operating mechanism. Although humans do not quite understand the life mechanism of their human-brained insect body, it is obvious that they have their own hierarchy and order, and Zerg life is also running in an orderly manner according to their management.
Eglas didn't need to sleep at all. It was obvious that this place was built temporarily because of Aizhe's arrival.
Ai Zhe frowned and looked at the dark and damp stone walls in the cave.
Inside are some stone platforms and some paintings from the last century. They must have been hung up by Egglas, who still retained his aristocratic lifestyle.
There were some random things in the corner that he had thrown there.
Among the miscellaneous items was a photo of a white-haired boy and a couple who looked like nobles. The photo had been preserved through special means.
Egglas didn't seem to care much about these photos, as if he just threw them there casually.
He didn't care whether Ai Zhe was staring at him or not.
He lay on a stone platform like a statue, with his hands on his head, looking at Ai Zhe without saying a word.
Ai Zhe knew that it was again Egglas's favorite silent gaze on him.
It made him feel uncomfortable and slippery.
The same was true of his insect body. When he was imprisoned for the first time, he used his insect body to hold him in his arms.
Staring and looking, he will keep looking at himself when he sleeps.
Ai Zhe was restrained by the insect soldiers and did not dare to act rashly.
"I'm going to go back and bandage Northam myself. I'm worried if he does it himself. I'm even more worried if you guys bandage him."
Eglas, who was lying on the stone platform, propping up his head and looking at him, heard it and smiled.
He reached out and pulled the chain, pulling him into his arms.
Ai Zhe frowned unhappily, feeling extremely uncomfortable.
Egglas, who was looking at Aizhe closely, was not as calm as he was a second ago.
His eyebrows began to furrow and his eyes became dull.
His breathing started to become heavy, and he kept staring at Ai Zhe.
Ai Zhe moved uncomfortably, and the white-haired man in front of him forced himself to suppress some emotions.
But he still looked at Ai Zhe steadily.
He lifted Ai Zhe's chin and looked at him for a moment.
Then, as if suppressing some emotion, he hummed softly.
They picked up a blanket that they had gotten from somewhere, wrapped it around Ai Zhe, and hugged him from behind.
"I'll let you go back and bandage you later."
A low voice sounded.
