Xiao Mingyue used a special medicine on Shi Nian, and her injuries recovered quickly.

She had to go to the hospital for a check-up alone.

Holding the test results, Shi Nian walked out of the hospital, looking utterly dejected.
She felt that life was full of drama.
After she and Ye Chen had stopped having contact, she actually got pregnant...

She wasn't paying attention to where she was going and bumped into someone walking towards her at the hospital entrance.
Her body reflexively moved backward, almost falling to the ground.

A deep, magnetic voice sounded, polite yet distant.

Moreover, the way he looked at her was very unfamiliar...
Ye Chen had already let go of her and bent down to pick up the medical report that she had dropped on the ground.
He paused slightly when he inadvertently saw the test results on the form. He handed the form to Shi Nian and said, "Now that you're pregnant, you should be more careful when you walk, so as not to hurt the fetus."

A flood of complex emotions welled up in Shi Nian's heart, making her feel suffocated and unable to breathe.
"If you have nothing else to do..." Ye Chen spoke again, wanting to leave as soon as possible.
"I have a question for you, it won't take up much of your time." Shi Nian quickly composed herself, suppressing the bitterness in her heart, and looked at him steadily with her clear eyes, "A man once said he loved a woman very much, but later he forgot about that woman completely, what do you think would be the reason?"
Ye Chen frowned and replied, "Aside from unavoidable medical conditions, perhaps it's because I don't love you enough."
Shi Nian lowered her eyelids, concealing her dark eyes.
"If the woman finds out she's pregnant after the man has forgotten about her, do you think she should keep the baby?"
