26 Cave 10 ‖ It's coming

"Can anyone of you..."

The fat man's forehead was now covered with dense beads of sweat, his face was pale, his lips were trembling slightly, and his expression was no longer as relaxed as before, but more of a look of suppressed pain.

But it doesn't matter anymore. There are only five minutes left. It's too late to find a toilet now. Who knows if there is a toilet here?

"Go find a sheltered place to deal with it. We will only wait for you for three minutes at most." Lin Haichen took a deep breath and forced himself to be patient.

The fat man happily agreed, as long as he was not left alone.

Holding my stomach, I jogged all the way.

While waiting for the fat man, several people gathered together to discuss the next countermeasures.

Tian Yiyi suggested that everyone sit together so that if anything happens, they can discover it immediately.

Xu Yaoyu shook her head, looking helpless. "No, Sister Yiyi, the game won't let us sit together."

Lin Haichen took off the half-framed glasses and wiped the lenses with the corner of his clothes. "Xiaoyu is right. The game won't be that good. I just hope it won't be too far away."

"Then let's do this. Whoever finds a problem can make some noise to draw attention to it," Yan Shuang said.

They originally thought that the fat man would come out soon, but after waiting for three minutes, there was still no movement behind the pile of rocks, and several people suddenly felt a sense of foreboding.

"Are you done?!" Lin Haichen raised his voice and shouted in the direction he was running.

There was no response, and the silence behind the pile of rocks was eerie.

"Lei...Lei Daoquan, have you finished using the toilet? We are leaving." Chen Rujing also mustered up the courage, her voice trembling as she shouted in fear.

There was still no sound, and everyone's heart sank instantly.

Yan Shuang hesitated for a moment, then walked in the direction Lei Daoquan had just run.

"Lei Daoquan?" Yan Shuang shouted as he walked, slowing down his pace and approaching the pile of stones.

Suddenly, a black shadow appeared.

Yan Shuang reflexively stretched out her foot and kicked the shadow, but when she saw clearly it was too late to retract it.

Lei Daoquan's arm was hit hard.

"Ah!" Lei Daoquan's arms instantly turned red. He rubbed his arms with his hands across his chest, saying in a very bad tone, "What are you doing! You're urging me to poop! This is so fucking unlucky!"

Yan Shuang moved her mouth, wanting to ask why he didn't agree. Did he not hear her? Looking at the furious Lei Daoquan, she didn't say anything in the end. Instead, she turned and walked away, leaving him standing there cursing.

Jing Ning looked at Yan Shuang who had kept her head down and remained silent all the way, "What are you thinking about?"

"It's okay." Yan Shuang shook her head.

"Let's go in." Jing Ning said.

He walked in front, striding with his usual powerful strides, not fearful but rather calm. Lei Daoquan's recent incident was merely a minor incident worth mentioning. So far, there were no fatalities, and no leads. Yan Shuang knew Jing Ning wasn't as relaxed as he appeared. The fate of everyone could be drastically altered by the slightest miscalculation.

Jing Ning walked through the gate and went straight inside. He observed his surroundings and reminded them: "Be careful, don't touch anything."

In just a few minutes, they arrived at the center of the theater.

Only then did they get a clear view of the stage. Like a blazing flame, the red lights illuminated the vibrant red sedan chair at the center of the stage. It stood there silently, as if imbued with life.

Yan Shuang's damn mind kept recalling all the ghost movies she had seen in the past, fearing that if she wasn't careful, an evil ghost in a wedding dress would run out of the sedan chair and cut them into pieces.

"What should I do? I'm so scared..." Ye Qi held her boyfriend's arm tightly, wishing she could stick her whole body against him to seek a sense of security.

Xu Yaoyu is the youngest in the team and has no boyfriend, so she can only hold Tian Yiyi's hand tightly, as if this can make her feel more at ease.

Jing Ning followed Yan Shuang's gaze and saw a group of people standing behind them. He turned back and leaned towards Yan Shuang calmly, tilting his head, "I'm scared too."

As he spoke, the hot air from his mouth fell right on Yan Shuang's ears. The warm breath was as gentle as a spring breeze, making Yan Shuang feel numb and shudder involuntarily. His body trembled slightly, as if struck by an electric current.

Yan Shuang felt his left ear getting hot, as if a fire was burning inside, leaving him somewhat bewildered. If the light hadn't been red, Jing Ning would have noticed that his ear was already as red as a ripe apple.

"Cough..." Yan Shuang cleared his throat, pretended to be calm, and silently stretched out an arm.

Jing Ning raised the corners of his mouth slightly, forming a beautiful arc. His eyebrows were slightly raised, adding a bit of softness and tenderness, and a laugh escaped from the depths of his throat, "Get lost."

"Ahhhhhhh..." screams came one after another.

At the same time, there was a crisp sound of "pop!"

All the red lights went out in an instant.

Darkness always brings unease and fear. Fears are magnified, like something under a magnifying glass. Every subtle sound, every blurry shadow, instantly transforms into a lingering nightmare, causing your heart to race like thunder and your breathing to quicken. Your nerves become hypersensitive, like a tautly taut guitar string. The slightest breeze, the sway of a blade of grass, can trigger a violent tremor, instantly igniting the fear deep within your heart, spreading to every cell in your body and plunging you into a state of utter panic. The feeling of helplessness and despair grows even more intense under the darkness, nearly consuming you completely.

Yan Shuang clenched his fists tightly, his nails digging deep into his palms. The pain seemed to distract him from his inner anxiety. He remembered Jing Ning's words: the more ever-changing the danger, the more likely it is that the truth is hidden behind it. He desperately needed to calm himself, not be affected by the environment, and find the clues.

"Be quiet! Aren't you afraid of death? Aren't you afraid of attracting those things with such loud noises?" There was a hint of irritation in Lin Haichen's tone.

The newcomers finally reacted and quickly shut up.

Yan Shuang kept thinking in her mind that the shouting just now had exposed the positions of several people, which were almost unchanged from before the lights were turned off. She felt a little relieved, at least they were safe for the time being.

“Squeak—”

It came from the gate.

Everyone heard the sudden sound.

Yan Shuang's gaze immediately turned away. Although he could not see anything, he still had a premonition of danger.

"Boom boom boom, boom boom boom..." The sound was neither fast nor slow, but each beat hit the heart directly.

Yan Shuang swallowed hard...something came in!!!
