Chapter 60 Leaving the Village and Arriving in a Jiangnan Town

The name Kato Tsuru sounds familiar, like I've heard it somewhere before, but I can't quite place it. Tianqi stares at the file folder in deep thought.

"What's wrong? Is this mission difficult?" Danzo asked, seeing Tensei frowning.

"The mission isn't difficult, just wait for my news. As for the secret techniques, forget about them. The good stuff is all in the major ninja villages, and I doubt you'd be interested in the stuff from small places." Tian Qi put the documents away and back into his bag, no longer worrying about the name.

"Don't underestimate the secret techniques of small places; some of them are actually quite good." Although Tian Qi was right, things from small places are indeed not very good, but some secret techniques are still quite effective, just with more side effects. This does not affect his experiments.

"Heh, don't think I don't know what you're thinking. I advise you not to do human experiments yourself, or you won't even know how you died." After saying that, Tianqi put on his mask and set off. As for Danzo, Tianqi couldn't let him fall yet.

Watching Tianqi's departing figure, he also fell into deep thought. "We really can't conduct human experiments now. Once the truth comes out, it's all over. If we want to conduct human experiments, we need to find a scapegoat first."

Tianqi was unaware that Danzo was looking for a scapegoat. He had just bought a bunch of dry rations on Konoha Street and was walking towards the entrance of Konoha.

Upon arriving at the door, Tianqi prepared to swagger out.

"Stop! If you want to leave the village, come over and register first and get a certificate." The two gatekeepers blocked Tianqi's way when they saw that he wanted to leave the village without registering.

"Can't you see I'm from the Dark Division? Do I need to register before I can carry out a secret mission?" Tian Qi was wearing a cat-face mask at the moment, unaware that even members of the Dark Division needed to register.

"Heh, you're new here, aren't you? No matter who you are or what kind of person you are, you have to register before leaving the village. I need you to register so I can give you a certificate. Otherwise, you've already left, and if you don't have a certificate when you come back, you won't be able to come back in. You'd better hurry up and register." The gatekeeper didn't recognize Tian Qi, who was wearing a mask, and thought he was new. He carefully explained to him.

"Alright," Tian Qi said, walking directly to the guard's table. Before they could ask, he spoke up: "Root ninja, Sani, Jonin."

"A Jonin from Root?" They rarely saw Root ninjas, so they didn't expect to see a Jonin today. They only knew that Root was led by Danzo Shimura, but they didn't know why there were two groups of Anbu in the village.

"Is there a problem?" Tianqi asked, noticing the curious look in his eyes.

"Uh... it's nothing, it's just that we rarely see Root ninjas." As he spoke, he immediately prepared a certificate for Tianqi. "Lord Sani, this is your exit certificate, please keep it safe." Since the other party was a Jonin, the two gatekeepers immediately turned into sycophants, addressing him as "Lord Sani."

"Thank you," Tianqi said, accepting the certificate before leaving. As for the guards' attitude, he was already used to it. These two were born to be guards; as long as you were strong, they would fawn over you.

After leaving the village, Tianqi headed south, the last place his target had been seen. "The south is so big, and I'm only looking for one person. I wonder how long it will take. This mission seems to have a long timeframe. Now that I'm out, I might as well have some fun." Tianqi took off his Root costume and mask and changed into ordinary clothes.

"Hehe, I finally got out of here, let's find a casino and have some fun!" Tianqi excitedly ran towards a small town in the south.

As for the mission, damn it! What can you do to me if I can't complete it with my abilities? You old bastard Danzo, you dare to talk big? If you're so capable, then you do it.

After more than an hour of all-out sprint, Tianqi finally arrived near the town. As soon as he got close, he saw a large rock with the four characters "Jiangnan Town" carved on it.

"Holy crap, we've arrived at a peaceful and prosperous Jiangnan town. Wait, what's with this name? Oh well, whatever, let's just rush in and have a blast for a day first!" Tianqi didn't bother to investigate the name anymore; he charged straight into the town.

Upon arriving in the town, Tianqi was dumbfounded by the surrounding scene. "Where is the peaceful and prosperous Jiangnan town I was promised, with its all-inclusive experience of eating, drinking, and playing dice?" Looking at the ordinary people, ordinary houses, and ordinary shopping, Tianqi exclaimed that he had come to the wrong place.

"Damn! It's just an ordinary small town, there's nothing fun to do. These people really don't know how to enjoy themselves." Tian Qi strolled around the streets, looking for something to do. Although he said it was just an ordinary place with nothing to do, he still had some hope in his heart. Maybe there was something else to do. So he slowly walked through the streets.

After wandering around for ten minutes, Tianqi finally lost his patience. "What kind of mess is this? Is it that I can't find it, or does it really not exist? I'll just ask a passerby."

He then walked directly towards a middle-aged man, smiling as he called out, "Uncle, uncle, wait a minute!"

"What?" The passerby looked at Tian Qi with a puzzled expression.

"Uncle, I'm a passing merchant. I'm tired from my journey and I'd like to find something to do around here. Do you know where there's anything to do around here?" Tianqi looked at the uncle with a lewd expression, confident that the uncle would understand what he meant.

Sure enough, the uncle gave him a knowing look and said, "You can go to the Grand Sands Hotel over there and ask. The people there will tell you."

"Oh, I see. Thank you, Uncle." After saying that, Tianqi ran straight towards the place the uncle had mentioned.

"It's so good to be young!" The uncle said with envy as he watched Tianqi leave.

Then Tianqi arrived at the hotel the uncle had mentioned. "The name 'Da Jinsha Hotel' is really corny. The owner who came up with this name must be a bumpkin," he complained before walking straight in.

As soon as he entered, he saw two guards behind the door. Tianqi cursed inwardly: "Damn, the guards aren't in front of the door, they're behind it. Looks like I've come to the right place."

He then walked to the front desk. "Welcome, sir. How can I help you?" the receptionist asked Tianqi with a smile.

"Give me your best room for one night," Tianqi immediately bid 10,000 yuan.

"I'm sorry, sir, our best room here costs 50,000 yuan, and your 10,000 yuan is not enough," the receptionist said with a smile. She didn't look down on Tian Qi, who was dressed plainly, because her boss had told her never to underestimate anyone.

"Oh, it costs 50,000? I wonder if it's worth it." He was a little shocked to hear that it cost 50,000. Ordinary people don't have that kind of spending power. It seems that there is something fishy going on here. However, 50,000 is not a big deal for him. He took out another 40,000 and put it in front of the front desk.

The front desk quickly booked a room for Tianqi. "Sir, your room is ready, it's room 404. Do you have anything to take? We have someone here who can help you carry your things for free," the front desk said, handing the key to Tianqi.

"No need, I didn't bring anything, and I don't need to carry it myself." Tianqi took the keys and left.

"Oh, I see. Then I wish you a pleasant stay." Seeing that Tianqi had nothing to carry, the receptionist stood up, bowed, and watched Tianqi leave.
