"Thump! Thump! Thump!"
"Alright, alright! You are all pillars of Konoha Village. What kind of behavior is this, making such a racket!" Hiruzen Sarutobi slammed his hand on the table three times and said with a serious expression.
Upon hearing this, the Konoha members stopped arguing. Although they had the right to discuss and come up with a plan, the real decision-making power ultimately rested with Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage. As long as the Hokage agreed, their objections were of no use.
Tian Qi glanced at Hiruzen Sarutobi and immediately guessed his decision. Given the Third Hokage's personality, he probably wouldn't launch a full-scale war. As time passed, his enthusiasm gradually faded, and he wasn't a proponent of war. Sure enough, Hiruzen Sarutobi's words the next second proved Tian Qi's guess.
“Elder Danzo’s words make a lot of sense, but the countries haven’t really started a war yet. We must not break the peace first. So let’s hold the border and wait and see!” Hiruzen Sarutobi said calmly after thinking for a while.
"Hiruzen, are you out of your mind! If we don't strike first, we Konoha will suffer. I will not back down on this point!" Danzo jumped out as soon as Hiruzen Sarutobi finished speaking. He disagreed a hundred times with the idea of waiting and seeing.
"Hmph! Danzo, do you know how many innocent families will suffer if we start a war? It's absolutely impossible to start a war rashly, and I will not back down on that!" Hiruzen Sarutobi snorted coldly, confronting Danzo head-on.
Two high-ranking officials in Konoha disagreed and fought each other, causing everyone to stop and watch the two big shots clash.
Holy crap! A duel between two high-ranking Konoha officials is so exciting! What if they start arguing and then come to blows? If that happens, it'll be so much fun! It would be so cool if these two former teammates fought each other! Tianqi watched the two arguing from the sidelines, secretly excited.
However, the two did not end up fighting. Shimura Danzo was defeated by Hiruzen Sarutobi's words, "I am the Hokage." This angered Danzo so much that he slammed the door and left. It has to be said that the phrase "I am the Hokage" was really devastating to Danzo.
The final decision was to adopt a passive defense, and Tianqi followed Danzo back to the Root base.

Besides, if you hadn't backed down back then, you wouldn't have missed out on the Hokage position!" Tianqi looked at Danzo with disdain. All he knew was to come back and vent his anger. If he had the guts, he should go and fight Hiruzen Sarutobi, you coward!
"My master? He..." Danzo was about to say something when he suddenly realized the second half of Tianqi's sentence. No one outside of the few people involved knew about this. How did Tianqi know? Danzo asked with a puzzled look, "How do you know about this? Did Hiruzen Sarutobi tell you?"
"This matter? Oh, you mean the one where you went soft at the crucial moment? Because I was watching from not far away at the time, and I saw Tobirama Senju for the last time!" Tianqi said with a sly smile. In fact, he did not see Danzo back in fear at the time, but having read the original work, he naturally knew why Danzo was not destined for the Hokage position.
"Damn it!" This guy really can say anything. Danzo was speechless when he heard Tianqi's words. You will have your chance!” Tianqi said calmly. Danzo will become a Kage sooner or later, but only half a Kage.

"Waiting is your only chance. If you don't even have this much patience, then you really have no chance of becoming Hokage!" With that, Tianqi got up to leave Root. As he reached the door, he turned back to remind Danzo, "And don't blame me for not reminding you, it's not wise to take action against Hiruzen Sarutobi now. If something happens to him and Konoha falls into chaos, then we really won't have any chance of winning the war!"
After saying that, Tianqi left the root.
"Hiruzen can't be hurt! Damn it, the Hokage position will definitely be mine!" Danzo kicked over the table in front of him and shouted loudly.
I didn't expect the war to come so quickly. Although it hasn't started in full force yet, it'll probably be a few years away. There's still no progress on my side. How can I protect my child without strong power? This damned war really caught me off guard! Tianqi walked home while thinking about various things.
He soon returned home. When he opened his door, he saw Chiyu and Uchiha Mikoto playing around in the yard. However, Tianqi acted as if he didn't see them and was still thinking about his own things.
