Chapter 74 A Night of Turmoil

"Since you know, I won't say any more. Just be careful," Tianqi said, and the two prepared to leave. Tianqi even invited Orochimaru to his house, but Orochimaru declined.

Then Tianqi returned home. "I'm back!" Tianqi called out as he entered his room.

"Why are you back so late today? I've already prepared dinner. Wash your hands and eat." Tsunade came out wearing an apron and carrying dishes.

"Sorry, sorry, something came up today and I was late. Is there any food left? Let me help." Tianqi said, heading towards the kitchen.

"That's all. Today we'll have four dishes and a soup. There's nothing else. Hurry up and wash your hands before we eat," Tsunade said, pulling Tianqi back from the kitchen.

"Okay, I'll go now," Tianqi said, kissed Tsunade, and ran to wash his hands.

"Honestly, it's time to eat and you're still so unserious," Tsunade rolled her eyes at Tianqi. Although she said that, she was very happy in her heart. She was slowly growing to like this feeling of home.

"Why hasn't Rope Tree come over for dinner lately? What's he been up to?" Tianqi asked as he sat down to eat after washing his hands.

"You don't know yet? Nawaki has become Orochimaru's disciple, and he's been training with Orochimaru all the time." Tsunade put a piece of meat in Tianqi's bowl.

"Huh, I really didn't know that. Orochimaru actually became Nawaki's teacher. What's the point of training with Orochimaru? He has someone as powerful as me at home, why would he hire an outsider? I don't know what he was thinking," Tianqi said while eating.

"Well, Nawaki and your brother-in-law didn't get along very well to begin with, and besides, he idolizes Orochimaru, so let him be." Tsunade didn't care at all that Nawaki was under Orochimaru's command. Anyway, Orochimaru was pretty powerful, and he was her teammate, so what was there to worry about?

Unlike Tsunade, Tianqi was in a dilemma. In the original work, Nawaki died a few years after serving under Orochimaru. Sigh, it's really a dilemma. Now I'm his brother-in-law. Saving him will change the plot, but if I don't save him, Tsunade will be sad. It's really a difficult situation.

"Tianqi, what's wrong? Don't you like Orochimaru taking Nawaki as his disciple?" Tsunade asked, seeing Tianqi's conflicted expression.

"Uh, I'm fine, I was just thinking about something." Hearing Tsunade ask him, he came back to his senses. Everyone has their own path. Since Nawaki has chosen this path, then he should just go all the way to the end.

"What's wrong? You seem so engrossed in thinking about it," Tsunade asked with a curious look.

"Uh..." Oh no, I can't exactly say your brother is about to die. I'm wondering if I should save him.

"I was thinking about going to the Hokage Building today," Tianqi skipped over Rope Tree's question and brought up the matter Sarutobi had asked him to do.

"Yeah, I didn't know what you were doing at the Hokage Building today. What did Sarutobi-sensei say to you?" Tsunade asked while eating.

“The ninja world has been quite restless lately, with frequent border clashes. Your teacher, Sarutobi, wants me to go and guard the border,” Tianqi said cautiously to Tsunade.

"What! Sarutobi is going to send you to the border? We just got married and he's already sending you away. That damned Sarutobi, he's doing this on purpose, isn't he? I'm going to find him!" Tsunade slammed her hand on the table, no longer calling him "teacher" but "Sarutobi the old man," and then went to find Hiruzen Sarutobi.

"Alright, Tsunade, calm down," Tianqi said, pulling Tsunade back from leaving.

"How can I stay calm? Guarding the border is a task that takes who knows how long. If you go, how long will it be before we can see each other again? Sarutobi is deliberately trying to break us up. I must find him and demand an explanation today!" Tsunade struggled and tried to rush out again.

"Alright, Tsunade, we are ninjas, protecting the village is what we should do. Don't blame Sarutobi-nii-san. It's no big deal for us to sacrifice a little time for the village. Please understand him, okay?" Tianqi hugged Tsunade and patted her back while gently persuading her.

"I know all of that, I just can't bear to part with you," Tsunade said, hugging Tianqi back.

"Then I promise you I'll come back to see you whenever I have free time, okay?" Tianqi stroked Tsunade's golden hair.

"You said it yourself, so you can't go back on your word," Tsunade said, leaning her head on Tianqi's shoulder.

"I will never go back on my word," Tianqi said, placing his hand on Tsunade's waist and holding her tightly.

Feeling the touch from the two mountain peaks, Tianqi also reacted. He picked up Tsunade and carried her towards the room while kissing her.

The two went straight back to their room halfway through their meal and continued their work from the afternoon until 3 a.m.

At 8 a.m. the next morning, Tianqi slowly opened his eyes and looked at Tsunade, who was still sleeping soundly beside him. Tianqi touched her cheek.

Feeling Tianqi touch her face, Tsunade closed her eyes and murmured, "Stop messing around, I'm so sleepy."

"I'm heading to the border today, are you sure you don't want to wake up?" Tianqi said to Tsunade with a smile.

Sure enough, when she heard Tianqi say that he was leaving for the border today, Tsunade immediately opened her eyes and said, "Yes, you're leaving today. I'm going to get up and see you off."

Tsunade opened her eyes, got out of bed and started dressing. Tianqi felt a surge of heat as he watched Tsunade get dressed right in front of him.

Tsunade's figure is truly a golden ratio; she has everything she should have. Who wouldn't be aroused by this? I can't take it anymore! Tianqi jumped up and pulled Tsunade, who was getting dressed, back onto the bed.

"Ah, are you trying to kill me? We're leaving today, why aren't you getting dressed?" Jian Tianqi suddenly pulled her onto the bed, startling Tsunade.

"What's the rush? We're not short of time anyway," Tianqi said, and then began to make love with Tsunade again.

Two hours later, Tianqi finally stopped moving, while Tsunade lay on the bed, completely exhausted, surrounded by a mess.

"Oh no, it's already nine o'clock! Oh no, we're going to be late!" Tianqi glanced at the clock on the wall, jumped out of bed, and hurriedly put on his clothes.

"Haha, now you're panicking. Why didn't you go earlier?" Tsunade lay on the bed, looking at Tianqi who was hurriedly getting dressed with a wicked smile.

"I thought it would only take an hour, but it took two hours. We still haven't found any help at the border. We've really messed up this time." Tianqi hurriedly put on his clothes, but the more flustered he became, the worse he got dressed.

"Lord Tianqi, didn't you say that a little more time wouldn't hurt? How about we do it again?" Tsunade teased and tempted Tianqi as he saw him in a flustered state.

"You just wait, come back next time and see how I deal with you." Tianqi finished dressing, grabbed a pile of clean clothes, and stored them directly in a scroll.
