What is “God”?
The philosophical concept of "God" is too difficult to understand, even Shuimu cannot give a simple definition.
In the ninja world where supernatural powers are manifested, "gods" and "humans" may have differences in status and power, but there is not much difference in the definition of category.
Shuimu cannot give a perfect definition of "human nature", so "divinity" naturally has no accurate definition either.
No one can figure out whether it is man’s faith that makes God come true, or God’s authority that protects man.
Theoretically speaking, anything that can accomplish miracles that are absolutely impossible for humans to do under normal circumstances can be considered divine power.
In fact, this is easy to understand. In the ninja world, although Mizuki does not have the consciousness of a "god", ordinary civilians will not regard Mizuki as an alien. In fact, because of their identity as ninjas, they are not representatives of secular power - the direct power of the daimyo, and they feel inferior to others.
But this is just a strange perception caused by the special circumstances in the ninja world. Mizuki naturally won't take it to heart. Although he doesn't care, Mizuki won't bother with these people who can be crushed to death with just a flick of his fingers, but it doesn't mean that he won't fight back when he is angered.
Just think about it, if Shuimu had the ability he has now in his previous life, he could play with the whole world at his fingertips. Even if God was resurrected, he might only be better than Shuimu in the power of creation, but he might not be more proficient than Shuimu in all other skills of pretending to be a god.
And in the present Rain Country, Mizuki performed a magnificent scene that ordinary civilians would rarely see in their lifetime.
In the Rain Country, which has always been covered with dark clouds, the believers who were awakened by the oracle prayed and channeled the power of faith mixed with their own chakra into the barrier that Shuimu had spent a great deal of effort to cover the entire country.
If it was Shuimu who pretended to be a messenger of God and killed Jiaodu in no time, the impression of ordinary believers might just remain at the level of "God is so powerful, we are powerless to resist".
Wouldn't it be more impressive if God sent a saint to lead the believers who were "given" power by the gods to fight side by side and defeat the powerful demon with great effort?
The principle of "a little bit of kindness is rewarded, a big bit of hatred is repaid" is true no matter which world it is in. No one will cherish victory and peace that are obtained effortlessly. If you want to mobilize the enthusiasm of believers and make them more dependent on the "God" created out of nothing by Shuimu, you must let them truly experience the unfathomable power of God. Protection is not a matter of course, but a price of one's own efforts and devout faith.
The barrier was supported by ordinary combat forces led by the leaders of believers at all levels promoted by Shuimu. As for the front-line battles, Shuimu only allowed a handful of qualified people to participate symbolically and witness the power of the "Messenger of God".
If Mizuki used his full strength, he wouldn't even need to show up. An ambush in the dark would be enough to kill Kakuzu instantly.
When the strong attack without regard for their dignity, the poor creature in a weak position will not even have the chance to resist.
And now, Kakuzu still has the opportunity to release four heart-attribute monsters, plus the main body to break out frantically.
"What a fierce resistance!"
Mizuki shook his head helplessly. The strength of the believers varied greatly. Many ninjas maintaining the barrier were injured by the reaction force of Kakuzu's indiscriminate attack on the barrier.
Fortunately, there were a large number of people and many people shared the damage, so no one was killed.
But it’s better this way, a battle with bloodshed is more impressive.
Kakuzu is indeed not a weakling. If Mizuki hadn't been here to support him, Kakuzu might have really escaped if he had used his full strength.
Although the hearts seized by Di Yuanyu can only perform the highest B-level ninjutsu due to aptitude issues, this is enough.
Don't think that B-level ninjutsu is just cheap stuff. You should know that the Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation that Mizuki once relied on as his trump card is only an A-level ninjutsu. Typical ninjutsu at this level include Lightning Style: Chidori by Kakashi Hatake, Water Style: Great Waterfall by Zabuza Momochi, and Wind Style: Wind Blade that the Sand Ninja strategist Maki is good at.
Except for a few that are self-created, most of the A-level ninjutsu are super-powerful ninjutsu that have been honed through thousands of trials and tribulations and are extremely suitable for one's own attributes to perform. Those who have one or two A-level ninjutsu are definitely famous masters in the ninja world.
As for the more advanced S-level ninjutsu and forbidden techniques that hurt others and oneself, that is another evaluation system, so let's not discuss it for now.
Therefore, for most ninjas in the ninja world, B-level ninjutsu is their limit. With their understanding of the changes in the nature of chakra, the power of B-level ninjutsu will not be much worse than A-level ninjutsu in the end. The strong only have suitable ninjutsu, and there is no such thing as relying on high-level ninjutsu to decide the outcome.
If Hatake Kakashi had not taught Uchiha Sasuke to use Chidori, the scion of the Uchiha family would even have to use Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu or Dragon Fire Jutsu, such C-level or D-level Fire Style to fight the enemy. As for Uzumaki Naruto, if he didn't have the Rasengan, his only worthwhile technique would be the Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu, and even this technique is a forbidden technique.
Because Kakuzu needed to replace his heart due to the Earth Grudge, every accident would affect his understanding of the changes in the nature of his chakra. He had much greater constraints than ordinary people in developing A-level ninjutsu that suited him, so he basically used B-level ninjutsu for large-scale siege tactics, playing the advantages of the heart monster and the unexpected sneak attacks of the five lives, and he has been successful until now.
Now that the enemy has changed to Mizuki, Kakuzu basically has no chance.
A huge butterfly appeared in front of everyone, covering the sky and completely pushing away the rain clouds above. Streams of light followed the flapping wings of the butterfly and spread to every corner.
"What's the point of playing tricks?"
Kakuzu snorted coldly, but did not stop running away.
"It's not for you to see!"
Mizuki chuckled.
"Besides, are you sure it really doesn't work?"
"What's the point of using illusions on a monster with a heart that has basically no will and is completely controlled by its body?"
"Just leave this alone."
In the Land of Rain, the home turf of water and wood, it was so easy to experiment with new ideas.
This was not just an illusion. The chakra fluctuations mixed in the rain covered by the flowing light soaked Kakuzu's heart monster attribute.
After a while, Kakuzu discovered something unusual.
"What did you do? Why is my Earth Wrath not obeying my orders?"
This is definitely not just an interference from an illusion.
