As soon as he entered the ward, Lin Yonggang saw the patient in bed number five drinking something.
"Just had lunch?"
Lin Yonggang walked forward and asked with a smile.
"Doctor Lin."
The patient's family members greeted him hurriedly, their eyes a little evasive, and they seemed a little guilty.
Lin Yonggang originally just asked casually, but when he saw the patient's family members avoiding his gaze, Lin Yonggang felt something was wrong and sniffed.
"What are you drinking?"
"Nothing much, just some soup."
The patient's wife said hurriedly.
"Let me see what kind of soup it is."
Lin Yonggang walked forward and reached out to take the thermos cup that the patient was drinking from. He just smelled a strong smell of Chinese medicine.
This is a traditional Chinese medicine hospital, and there is a smell of Chinese medicine. If it were normal, Lin Yonggang would not pay attention to it, but the patient's family looked uneasy, so he sniffed twice more. The smell of Chinese medicine was much stronger than usual.
"It was the medicine the nurse brought this morning. I didn't drink it then, so I just put it in the thermos."
The patient's wife hurriedly explained.
"Yeah?"
Lin Yonggang reached out and pressed the call bell at the bedside. Soon a nurse came in: "Doctor Lin."
"Does the patient in bed number five have any medicine this morning?"
"Yes, he was brought in at 8:30. He didn't have an IV drip today. The patient's family said they took him outside to bask in the sun. He wasn't in the ward the whole morning."
The nurse replied.
"Tell me, is this really the morning medicine?"
Lin Yonggang looked at the patient and his family and said, "We can easily find out if the medicine is what we prescribed."
