"Did you hear what Yun Heng said?"
Qu Tongwen asked softly to Ren Xuedong who was standing next to him.
"I heard it."
Ren Xuedong nodded.
"Do you understand?" Qu Tongwen asked with a smile.
Because of the previous introduction, Qu Tongwen also admired Ren Xuedong and Xu Bo very much.
Yun Heng is of high skill and has a pure heart, which Qu Tongwen naturally likes very much. However, Qu Tongwen also appreciates the fact that Ren Xuedong and Xu Bo can come to such a community hospital to study and improve themselves.
Of course, Xu Bo was mainly due to the help of Ren Xuedong and was misunderstood by Qu Tongwen. When he was introduced just now, Xu Bo would not be so stupid as to say that he was arranged by Ma Tiequan, and his answer was a bit vague.
So among the three people in the clinic, Qu Tongwen liked and admired Yun Heng the most, and he also had a good impression of Xu Bo and Ren Xuedong.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Mr. Qu. I still don't quite understand." Ren Xuedong felt a little ashamed.
It has come to this point, and I still don’t quite understand it. The gap between me and Yun Heng is really too big.
Qu Tongwen was not angry, but smiled and said: "Shaoyin disease is characterized by weak pulse and drowsiness..."
Ren Xuedong said hurriedly: "Shaoyin disease, when the patient first gets a fever and has a deep pulse, Ma Huang Xi Xin Fu Zi Tang is the main treatment..."
"Well, do you understand now?" Qu Tongwen asked with a smile.
"Okay, I understand. Thank you, Mr. Qu." Ren Xuedong hurriedly expressed his gratitude.
What Qu Tongwen just said was exactly the original text in "Treatise on Febrile Diseases".
No wonder Yun Heng suddenly said he wanted to sleep...
According to the patient's son, the old man was in poor spirits and stayed in bed to sleep during the day, but he could not fall asleep. His eyes seemed to be neither open nor closed, and he would notice when someone approached. This was a manifestation of "wanting to sleep".
Ren Xuedong had to admit that Yun Heng was indeed very powerful.
Qu Tongwen smiled. He really liked and admired Yun Heng more and more.
From Ren Xuedong's perspective, he may not be able to see much, but from Qu Tongwen's perspective and height, he can see a lot.
When Yun Heng first took the patient's pulse, he still had many doubts and had not yet clearly diagnosed the disease. However, Yun Heng did not rush to draw conclusions, but continued to ask questions, looking for more clues and more favorable conditions from the patient's performance and the description of the patient's family.
TCM has four diagnostic methods: looking, smelling, asking and palpating. None of them can be ignored. These four diagnostic methods are the basis for TCM practitioners to judge and understand the patient's condition.
Traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine are different, but in other words, they can actually be said to have similarities. Western medicine relies on modern testing methods for dialectics and diagnosis, such as tests, examinations, and X-rays, etc. After a blood test, if the doctor is not sure, he may ask you to do another B-ultrasound. If it still cannot be confirmed, he may ask you to do a CT scan.
In terms of diagnosis, if the Chinese medicine's looking, smelling, asking and palpating are regarded as Western medicine's laboratory tests, then the methods and thinking in diagnosis and treatment should be consistent.
First observe, ask, and take the pulse. If you are still not sure or cannot make a judgment, then try to learn more from these four aspects to see if you have overlooked anything when asking questions or missed anything when observing.
Sometimes, for simple symptoms, the doctor may be able to make a diagnosis by taking the pulse and asking about the patient's diet, just like a Western doctor would take a blood test. But if the doctor still cannot make a diagnosis, he or she will have to ask in detail about urination, defecation, sleep, whether the patient has dreams, what the dreams were about, how the patient eats, what the patient has eaten, what happened in the past week, and then more specifically, within the past month, half a year, and so on.
The more detailed the diagnosis, the more useful information the doctor will have when making a dialectical diagnosis, and the lower the probability of error.
While Yun Heng was temporarily unable to make a diagnosis, he continued to ask questions and learn more. At the same time, he was able to find information useful for his own judgment from the description of the patient's son. This is very difficult and very good.
Qu Tongwen had a smile on his face. His trip was really not in vain. He didn't expect to find such a young and talented talent like Yun Heng in this small community hospital.
On the opposite side, Yun Heng had indeed made a judgment based on the patient's son's description, just as Qu Tongwen had guessed. He was typing the medical records and prescriptions on the computer.
After printing out the prescription, Yun Heng signed it and handed it to the patient's son: "Go home and take three doses first, and then come back for a follow-up visit."
"Thank you, Dr. Yun."
The patient's son took the prescription, said thank you, then helped his father up and walked out of the ward. Yun Heng continued to call the next patient.
Because the patients who came after 9:20 were stopped by the nurses outside and asked to see Qu Tongwen, Yun Heng didn't see many patients in the morning, only twenty people, and finished seeing all the patients by 11 o'clock.
After seeing the last patient, Yun Heng still got up and went to the bathroom first. When there were many patients, unless it was urgent, Yun Heng would try to finish his work before dealing with personal issues, well, very personal issues.
Yun Heng went to the bathroom and Xu Bo followed him. Qu Tongwen was there, so Xu Bo didn't feel comfortable leaving in the middle of the night and kept holding it in.
Xu Bo and Yun Heng went to the bathroom, leaving only Ren Xuedong and Qu Tongwen in the clinic.
Qu Tongwen smiled and asked Ren Xuedong: "How long have you been here?"
"About half a month."
Ren Xuedong said hurriedly, "I actually heard Director Liang say that there's a young doctor in the community hospital who's just as good as us. I wasn't convinced, so I came here specifically to see him..."
