Chapter 22: Found Someone

Chapter 22: Found Someone

From the sound it seemed that there were quite a few people inside. He looked towards the back, then bent over and went around to the back of the granary.

The blizzard blocked everyone's vision. Xiang Yu successfully went around to the back of the warehouse and crawled in the snow. The heavy snow fell on his body and buried Xiang Yu under the snow.

At this time, she was less than fifty meters away from the back door of the warehouse.

The compound bow on his body was too conspicuous, so Xiang Yu put it into the space.

Not knowing how many people were on the other side, Xiang Yu didn't dare to just rush over. He looked towards the back door and saw two men standing there smoking.

While puffing smoke, the two men seemed to be talking about something, and then the man standing on the right walked into the warehouse.

When he came out again, he was holding a short-haired woman in his hands. The woman's clothes were in disarray, and her exposed arms were blue and purple from the cold.

The short hair obscured the expression on the woman's face. The man behind her kicked her left leg, and the woman staggered and fell to the ground.

Then she immediately got up, and at the man's urging, the two of them went into the granary owner's house.

Xiang Yu had been observing for a while. Seeing this, he immediately stood up from the snow and ran quickly towards the blind spot of the two-story building.

There were only two windows on the first floor. Xiang Yu looked into the house and saw the fat body of the granary owner's wife lying at the corner of the stairs.

There was a dead body lying next to her, and judging by the body size, it should be her husband.

The two men had obviously been dead for some time, and rigor mortis and postmortem illness had formed.

He supported himself on the windowsill with his hands, exerted force with his hands, jumped up, put his feet on the windowsill, and jumped quickly towards Yu, climbing above the windowsill with his hands.

He swung his body and hooked his feet on the clothesline on the windowsill. In one smooth movement, he twisted his waist and abdomen and climbed onto the half-open window on the second floor with his hands.

Judging from the sound, the man should have brought the woman into the room upstairs. Xiang Yu looked at the window gap which was only three fingers wide.

After carefully pushing the door open with a dagger, he looked inside the room. On the big bed in the middle of the room, a man was lying on top of a short-haired woman.

The woman cried and struggled. With a slap, the man slapped her hard on the face. "I gave you face, right? If it weren't for me, you wouldn't be able to see the sun today."

The woman's face turned to the left after being slapped, and she happened to see Xiang Yu lying by the window. She immediately looked at Xiang Yu as if asking for help.

The man noticed her abnormality, turned his head to look at the window, secretly said to Xiang Yu, and used his arms to support his body, and pushed the window open.

His body jumped into the room in an instant, and just when the man wanted to shout, Xiang Yu quickly took three or two steps forward and stabbed the dagger in his hand into the man's mouth.

Then he turned the dagger and pulled it out, touching the man's neck.

Blood splattered all over the short-haired woman. After being stunned for a moment, she wanted to scream instantly. Xiang Yu raised his hand and covered the woman's mouth almost the next moment.

"Shh, don't make any noise, I'm here to save people..." Xiang Yu put his index finger on his lips and said in a low voice.

The woman's body was trembling. Xiang Yu let her go only after he made sure that she would not scream. Almost subconsciously, the woman distanced herself from Xiang Yu.

Seeing this, Xiang Yu didn't say anything, but wiped the blood off his face and hands with a wet tissue. After wiping his face, he wiped the dagger.

"How many people are in the warehouse?" Xiang Yu put away the dagger.

"There are eight people inside, and some of them were captured by them. Their boss is out," the short-haired woman answered nervously, fearing that she would anger Xiang Yu and be killed by him.

"Are you a policeman?" the woman looked at Xiang Yu with hope. When the other shook his head, she looked disappointed.

"Eight people," Xiang Yu got up from the bed. If there were only eight people, she was sure she could handle it. She glanced at the man who was dead enough to die lying on the floor at her feet.

Xiang Yu squatted down, picked up the man's hand and looked at it. The lines on the palm were rough and the four calluses were very thick, obviously caused by years of using farm tools.

These people should be from nearby villages. They were brought together by some boss. Except for the so-called boss, they should be just farmers.

"How long has the boss been out?"

"I went out this morning, so it should have been more than two hours."

Xiang Yu ignored the woman huddled on the bed. The dagger hidden in his sleeve slipped out, and the moment his palm touched the handle, Xiang Yu grasped the dagger.

This was an action she had been accustomed to for five years. She took out the mask to cover her face and walked straight towards the warehouse.

Strolling around the garden felt like walking in my own backyard. There were three people at the front door of the warehouse and one person at the back door.

Breaking through the back door and entering the warehouse should save a lot of trouble. The man who was smoking at the back door narrowed his eyes as he looked at the figure approaching in the heavy snow.

After seeing clearly that it was a woman, he smacked the cigarette in his mouth and said, "Hey, which village are you from?" The next moment, he saw the figure in the heavy snow running towards him quickly.

Xiang Yu took a run-up and jumped, and his knee hit the man's chin. With a thud, because Xiang Yu was using more force, the man fell backwards, and his back hit the iron sheet of the warehouse.

The moment his body rebounded, Xiang Yu's right hand holding the dagger smashed towards his head fiercely. The handle of the knife hit his temple, and the man fainted on the spot.

Standing in front of the warehouse door, Xiang Yu moved his neck and limbs, then kicked the back door of the warehouse. With a loud bang, everyone in the warehouse turned their heads to look.

There were more than thirty people sitting in the open space in the middle of the warehouse, all tied with thick ropes.

After a quick glance, Xiang Yu saw the four people he was looking for in the crowd.

Seeing this, the four people who were sitting at the card table picked up the steel bars at hand and walked towards Xiang Yu with fierce faces.

Yesterday's token of surrender meant that each of them was responsible for at least one life. Xiang Yu casually threw his backpack to the ground.

"Oh, here comes someone who doesn't care about his life..." The next moment, he could no longer laugh.

The man closest to Xiang Yu raised the more than one-meter-long steel bar in his hand and smashed it hard on Xiang Yu's head.

Xiang Yu dodged sideways, and the steel bar brushed against the corner of her clothes and fell down. The next moment, the dagger in her hand slashed towards the wrist of the man holding the steel bar.

It was obvious that these farmers had no skills at all except brute force.

The dagger cut through the sleeve of his cotton coat. The man was frightened by the knife in Xiang Yu's hand, and the steel bar fell to the ground with a clang.

Xiang Yu's right hand holding the dagger quickly moved upwards and hit the man's throat with the handle. In an instant, he fell to the ground, covering his neck and wailing.

"He's still a martial artist, let's go together..."
