Chapter 117 Meow Meow

Chapter 117 Meow Meow

This doesn't just sound familiar, it's too familiar.

Isn’t this the cry of the two leopard cubs at home?

"Don't tell me these two brats provoked a group of wild boars." Zhao Yeqing gritted his teeth.

The two were only at the edge of the woods, and they didn't expect to encounter a group of wild boars. They didn't have any self-defense weapons on them.

"You go back first. You can't take the horse with you. It's too easy to be frightened. You can't tie it up either. If other animals hear the roar and come and see a tied horse, they will fall into the tiger's mouth."

Mu Xi planned to go and check out the situation first.

Zhao Yeqing didn't quite agree. This was a group of wild boars, not just one or two, but there was no other way now.

"Wild boars can't climb trees. The two cubs will be safe in the tree for now. Don't worry."

Mu Xi shook his head. "Although the two little leopards can climb trees, they were not raised by their mother after all. They have too little hunting experience. We can only teach them a limited amount. They are also very young and may be too scared to fall from the tree."

Zhao Yeqing grabbed Xiaohong's reins and was about to go home. "Then you should wait until I come back with the gun. Don't get too close before I come back!"

She untied the cart behind Xiaohong and pulled Xiaohong for a distance, but she felt it was too slow, so she gritted her teeth, held the horse's back and climbed onto the horse.

She exhaled, lifted the reins and shook them down, then slapped the horse's belly with both legs. Xiaohong received the order, raised her front hooves, and rushed forward.

Without a saddle, riding on the horse's back was not stable. Xiaohong didn't have a bit in her mouth, so Zhao Yeqing couldn't control the direction very well.

Fortunately, Xiaohong was smart and ran home without Zhao Yeqing trying to control her.

She felt dizzy and nauseous after the bumpy ride home. She didn't even have time to calm herself down, so she quickly went back to her room, grabbed her shotgun, and ran out.

She always felt vaguely uneasy and wanted to run over, but was afraid of something unexpected happening, so she rode on Xiaohong instead.

When they were almost there, Zhao Yeqing got off the horse and touched Xiaohong's head, "Go back quickly."

After saying that, she patted it lightly on the butt. Xiaohong got the instruction, looked at her, and slowly walked forward.

Zhao Yeqing walked quickly to the woods, and as expected, he did not see Mu Xi.

She made them all laugh out of anger, and both of them were a worry.

She walked into the woods with a gun in her hand. Mu Xi had taught her how to use it, but this was her first time using it in actual combat.

Following the roaring sound, she lowered her body and walked forward. From a distance, she saw two or three wild boars circling around a tree. She squatted in the grass and looked up at the tree for the two little leopards.

She saw two little leopards on the branches, shaking with fear. The location they chose was very tricky. There were no other trees next to the tree they were in, so they had no way to move around on the tree and could only wait for the wild boar to leave.

But she was relieved to find that there were fewer wild boars than she had expected.

Zhao Yeqing leaned his head forward to look for Mu Xi, but he looked through all the surrounding trees but couldn't find any sign of him.

She crouched down, found a tree that was a little closer to the wild boar, and climbed up quietly.

After he sat firmly on the tree, he raised his gun and aimed it in the direction of the wild boar. Just as he was about to shoot, a stone in the distance hit a wild boar under the tree directly in the eye.

The wild boar was about to run over there in pain, but Zhao Yeqing pulled the trigger and fired without hesitation, hitting the wild boar directly in the chest.

The sound of a large-caliber shotgun was so loud that it echoed in the woods.

The wild boar that was shot ran a few steps and then fell to the ground. The rest of the wild boars were frightened by the loud noise and fled in all directions.

Zhao Yeqing breathed a sigh of relief and took out bullets from his pocket to fill the magazine.

My hands were numb from the recoil of the gun, and I tried twice before I could put the bullet in.

After a while, Mu Xi appeared from the direction where the stone was thrown. He walked to the front of the wild boar and checked to make sure it could not move, then trotted to Zhao Yeqing's tree.

"Can you still come down?"

She did feel a little belatedly weak in the legs, and she wasn't sure if it was because her tense nerves relaxed or because she was riding a horse without a saddle.

She slowly held onto the trunk and descended. The bark of the pine tree was very rough and it rubbed her palms painfully. She was too nervous to notice it when she climbed the tree, and only now did she realize that her skin had been scraped.

Mu Xi noticed the slightly frowning look. When he was about to reach the bottom, he caught Zhao Yeqing who was about to fall to the ground, grabbed her hand and blew gently.

"Go back and apply the medicine first, and then bear with it."

Zhao Yeqing didn't want to pay attention to him. He walked to the tree, let the two little leopards jump down, then turned around and walked back without even looking at him.

Mu Xi knew that he had not listened to her and had run into the woods, so he had to follow her obediently. After he came out of the woods, he took two steps forward and pulled the cart.

When Zhao Yeqing got home, his anger had mostly subsided. It was more of worry and fear. He glanced at Mu Xi who was sitting on the bench.

The other party immediately spoke up, "Before you came, the two cubs were screaming too scared, so I thought of luring some of the wild boars away."

He explained how he was far away from the boars and just threw stones and hid himself in a tree.

Mu Xi was covered in dirt and grass debris, probably because he was afraid that a wild boar would smell him and find where he was.

When Zhao Yeqing went there, there were only a few wild boars left. It was probably because Mu Xi used some method to lure most of them away.

"They won't come back if they can't find you?"

"Before you left, you left a large bag of chicken feet fruit. These fruits usually grow in high places and are hard for wild boars to eat. After I led the wild boars over, I threw the fruits along the way, and they naturally didn't come back."

Wild boars are omnivorous and eat everything. If they have something to eat, they won’t be concerned about the two leopards that refuse to come down from the tree.

Seeing that Zhao Yeqing was no longer angry, Mu Xi quickly took the medicine box over.

There were several bright red wounds on the white and tender palms, with some bark residue stuck in the wounds.

He carefully picked out the debris from the wound, blew gently to disinfect it, and applied ointment.

Zhao Yeqing looked at Mu Xi's serious expression, as if he was doing an extremely precise job, without blinking.

Every time he touched her wound with the iodine-soaked cotton swab, he would frown slightly, as if he was touching his own wound.

She was staring in a trance. After Mu Xi applied the medicine, he looked up and met the girl's eyes.

The two of them were very close, their breaths intertwined, and even when Mu Xi was stunned for a moment, he could feel her breath hitting his face.

Warm and itchy.

The itch spread from my face to my heart.

His eyes became deep and his gaze gradually became aggressive.

Zhao Yeqing felt his breathing becoming rapid and his face getting hotter.

Her brain gradually became less able to think, and she couldn't tell whether the warmth on her face came from shyness or the man's breath.

Her body was stretched straight, and feeling the breath getting closer and closer, she clenched the corner of her clothes with her fingers and slowly closed her eyes.

Suddenly, they felt a soft and furry touch under their feet, and a sweet "meow" broke the beauty.
