Chapter 287 The cooking is delicious, and I met the Sea God.

However, Shen Zhiyi was in no mood to worry about these things for the time being; she still had to bring Nalan Zhao and the others from the ship over.

After placing the location teleporter on Sunset Bay, Shen Zhiyi used the teleporter on their ship to return to the ship.

As soon as Shen Zhiyi arrived on the deck, Nalan Zhao spotted her and quickly came down from the control room.

“Sister.” Nalan Zhao looked down at her.

Shen Zhiyi chuckled and tiptoed to pat Nalan Zhao's head, asking him, "Where's Chen Peng?"

"He was on guard duty last night and is resting now."

Shen Zhiyi nodded, "Then let him sleep for a while, and we'll go to Sunset Bay later."

"Sister, did that old witch hurt you?" Nalan Zhao was still a little worried. He didn't think Jingya was a good person.

"Don't worry, no. Before I left, I threw back the thing she asked me to use on Poseidon. She's probably furious right now."

Shen Zhiyi found it funny whenever she thought about it.

Is it really because I'm getting old? How can you believe what she says?

But Shen Zhiyi didn't know that after she left, Jingya was extremely tired and had no mind to pay attention to what was happening around her.

Activating the teleportation array had taken a heavy toll on her mental energy. She hadn't had time to replenish her strength recently, and the rapid depletion of it had put her body under strain.

Jingya hurriedly left the studio and returned to her residence.

She rummaged through the treasures she had obtained from the mermaids and found something, eagerly stuffing it into her mouth. Then, she found a spot and fell into a deep sleep.

She can now feel her strength slowly returning.

But... that stuff is getting less and less, so she has to use it sparingly. If she can't find the location where Dias hid the treasure, she might not be able to survive long enough to kill the sea god.

Nalan Zhao saw that Shen Zhiyi didn't seem to be lying, so she believed her. "Sister, you haven't eaten yet, have you? Come and have something to eat."

"Did you cook this?" Shen Zhiyi was pulled by Nalan Zhao and walked towards the control room.

Nalan Zhao pursed her lips and hummed in agreement.

Shen Zhiyi raised an eyebrow in surprise. Nalan Zhao can actually cook?

Actually, he asked Chen Peng to teach him yesterday, and he learned a little bit, but he doesn't know how it tastes.

He knew Shen Zhiyi would be back in the morning, so he planned to wait for her to eat together.

Inside the control room.

There were two small dishes and two bowls of porridge on the table in the middle.

"Sister, I don't know if you'll like it." Nalan Zhao was a little uneasy. He knew his cooking skills were not good, and it would be embarrassing if it tasted bad.

Shen Zhiyi sat down, picked up her chopsticks, and took a bite of the dish.

It's alright, the taste is just right.

I tried another dish and realized that Nalan Zhao seems to have quite a talent for cooking.

Nalan Zhao stared at Shen Zhiyi's expression and asked, "Sister, how is it? Is it delicious?"

Shen Zhiyi nodded in affirmation: "Delicious."

Nalan Zhao breathed a sigh of relief. As long as it tasted good, that was fine. He had tried it himself, but he didn't think it was as good as Shen Zhiyi's cooking, so he was a little worried that she wouldn't like it.

After finishing his meal, Chen Peng also got up.

"Zhiyi, you're back." Chen Peng greeted Shen Zhiyi.

Nalan Zhao left a meal for Chen Peng. After Chen Peng ate, Shen Zhiyi led the two of them to Sunset Bay.

"But then, what about our ship?" Chen Peng looked at the ship beneath his feet.

Shen Zhiyi paused for a moment, then asked, "It's alright, just recall the ship the instant it's teleported."

Chen Peng nodded.

Shen Zhiyi stored the dried fish in her pet space, had the other two hold onto her clothes, and used the location teleporter.

The next second, the three of them appeared at Sunset Bay.

Although it's called Sunset Bay, it's actually a crescent-shaped island.

They are currently at the very tip of a crescent moon.

Shen Zhiyi looked around and saw some small islands in the sea, but they didn't look very big and weren't very far from the sea.

They were on the beach at the moment. According to Jingya, if they wanted to enter Sunset Bay, they had to open the entrance.

But where is the entrance?

Can't I just go straight in?

Shen Zhiyi didn't dare to lead anyone around recklessly at this moment. All they knew was that the Sea God was in Sunset Bay, and they also had a map showing the route to Sunset Bay.

But I've never heard of having to open an entrance to get into Sunset Bay.

"Sister, why aren't you leaving?" Nalan Zhao tugged at Chen Zhiyi's sleeve.

Shen Zhiyi looked ahead and said, "Jingya said that to enter Sunset Bay, we need to open the entrance, but I don't know where the entrance is."

Upon hearing this, Nalan Zhao and Chen Peng both looked around, but didn't find anything amiss.

"But haven't we already come in?" Chen Peng asked. Weren't they already inside Sunset Bay?

"Not sure."

At that moment, a voice reached the ears of the three of them.

"You've arrived."

"Several years have passed, and finally someone has come here."

“If you follow the direction of the wind, you will find me.”

As soon as they finished speaking, a gentle breeze actually began to blow around them.

The three exchanged a glance and decided to follow the wind; what if they really found something?

A gentle breeze led the three into the jungle.

As if it were consciously aware of its surroundings, it led the three of them away from some dangerous places, saving them from many possible injuries.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, we finally arrived at a place that resembled a palace.

However, this palace was not as magnificent and beautiful as the palaces of the ancients. Instead, it exuded an aura of decay and looked somewhat eerie and terrifying from afar.

A gentle breeze carried them to the palace gates and then they disappeared.

The three exchanged a glance and decided to enter the palace.

Before the three of them could make any move, a sound came from inside.

"Come in."

Chen Peng stepped forward and pushed open the heavy door.

The light from the outside world finally shone through the heavy doors and fell upon the person in the very center of the palace.

In the very center of the palace stood a cross with a person bound to it.

This person was none other than the long-lost sea god, Di Yuanxiang.

Di Yuanxiang's hands were bound by one end of an iron chain, while the other end of the chain was placed on either side of the cross.

And there was a very thin, long pin on her collarbone, which made her unable to move.

Di Yuanxiang hung helplessly on the cross; her once beautiful and smooth mermaid tail had lost its most dazzling luster and become dull and lifeless.

Near the cross, a circle was drawn around the area, and a pool was dug out at the center of the circle, just big enough for Di Yuanxiang to reach with her tail. This allowed Di Yuanxiang to draw a little water from the tip of her tail to sustain her life.

Seeing that her vision had suddenly brightened, Di Yuanxiang raised her head.
