The journey to Bijia Island was quite long, so long that Shen Zhiyi was getting sleepy while sitting in the carriage.
Shen Zhiyi rested her chin on her hand and opened the panel with her other hand, wanting to chat with Sangsang and the others.
The result? The panel had no signal!
She can't contact Sangsang and the others right now.
"......"
Okay.
After turning off the control panel, Shen Zhiyi stared blankly at the starry sky outside, hoping to get to Bijia Island as soon as possible.
It's unknown how long the white horse ran through the stars, but after a flash of white light, they entered a completely new place.
Shen Zhiyi felt a strong white light and forcibly woke herself up from her sleep.
Is this daytime?
Shen Zhiyi looked out the window at the view, a long-awaited clear sky and white clouds.
But, is it not there yet?
The white horse shows no sign of stopping.
After galloping through the air for a while, the white horse finally stopped on an island.
Shen Zhiyi opened the car door and got out. She looked around and realized that this place seemed to be a dock.
Pikkale Island is located in a sea area, and there are no other small islands around it.
There were a few players nearby, but they didn't seem to be together. They were all acting independently, keeping a wary eye on the other players, as if afraid that players from other star systems might suddenly come and kill them.
Now, seeing her get out of the car, he made no attempt to hide his gaze as he swept his eyes back and forth over her.
Shen Zhiyi frowned, somewhat displeased with that look.
He glanced around, found a corner and walked over. He had originally intended to call Fox Moon out while he was in the carriage.
But thankfully, in this situation, we didn't summon Fox Moon.
If she brought Fox Moon with her, wouldn't those people stare at her like they wanted to eat her alive?
Shen Zhiyi stood there for a while, but it seemed that no one else came.
Just as she was about to go forward to take a look, a woman came over and stopped her.
Shen Zhiyi immediately took two steps back, looking at the person in front of her with wary eyes.
"What is it?" Shen Zhiyi's tone was somewhat cold.
Seeing Shen Zhiyi's wary look, the woman chuckled softly, "Oh, I didn't mean anything by it. I just saw you standing here all alone and thought I'd come over and chat with you."
"No need for that." Shen Zhiyi didn't want to get involved with anyone at this time, so she walked past the woman.
As she approached the spot where she had just gotten off the bus, she saw a small boat appear on the distant sea.
There was another figure rowing vigorously towards this side.
Shen Zhiyi: "...?"
The woman leaned closer again. "You're the seventh one to arrive here, and the way you came is different from ours."
"In other words, you were the one who arrived with the most ease."
"So what?" Shen Zhiyi asked in return.
Upon seeing the person rowing the boat so diligently on the sea, she knew what this woman wanted to do by approaching.
"So if you want to talk to me, I have to talk to you?" Shen Zhiyi said this very bluntly, not giving the woman next to her any face at all.
The woman's face did indeed turn pale.
She hadn't expected Shen Zhiyi to be so disrespectful.
Thinking about the humiliation she had just suffered at the hands of other players, she couldn't help but want to vent her anger on Shen Zhiyi.
Just as she was about to lash out, Shen Zhiyi seemed to have anticipated the woman's next move and said bluntly, "Don't take out your anger on me for what you've suffered on others. I'm not one to be trifled with."
Glancing at the woman beside her, Shen Zhiyi went back to the corner she had been in.
She had observed the woman in the corner earlier; she had noticed that the woman had been standing there with an unpleasant expression from the start.
After seeing her get out of the car, he kept an eye on her, hesitated for a moment, and then walked over.
As soon as she arrived, the other players nearby glanced over and looked on knowingly.
After waiting a while, the people who had been rowing on the sea had come ashore.
This guy is a bit of an optimist and very sociable. After resting for a while, he went to chat with other players.
He wasn't angry even when those players rejected him so coldly.
No wonder he came here by rowing himself; he has such a good attitude.
Seeing that he was still heading in her direction, Shen Zhiyi turned and walked away.
Shen Zhiyi now roughly understands why the ball invitation required them to go to Biga Island before noon today.
Players use a wide variety of modes of transportation to reach Bija Island.
Judging by the small boat that person just rowed, wouldn't it take players who are further away a whole day to row?
Since she was already waiting here anyway, she might as well go in and check things out first.
The player who had just been rowing looked disappointed after Shen Zhiyi left.
I was hoping to make a friend, but it seems like that's no longer an opportunity.
Shen Zhiyi didn't know which way to go, so she could only follow her instincts.
After walking a while, she saw a small fishing village.
Upon seeing her approach, an elderly woman greeted her warmly, "Oh, you must be a guest invited by the wandering merchant."
Shen Zhiyi stopped and nodded to the old woman.
The old woman was wearing what was probably the traditional clothing of Bikkale Island, a style she had never seen before.
"Excuse me, ma'am, where is the ball being held?"
The old woman turned around and pointed in a direction for Shen Zhiyi.
"Sir, go that way, then turn left, and you'll see the gate of Bikkale. Once inside, you'll be given a guide."
Shen Zhiyi thanked him, but didn't rush inside.
Not all the players have arrived yet; even if you go, you'll still have to wait.
