"Little girl, don't go out alone at night next time."
Jane smiled and said goodbye to the kind-hearted driver, still clutching five balled-up roadblocks in her hands. She had no choice but to hold them in her bag, which contained her phone, keys, and two sausages, too small.
The ham sausage was bought according to her taste. Even if the red-tailed cat doesn't eat it, she can still eat it. She is not picky about food and can eat anything, especially if it tastes good.
The red-tailed cat sleeping outside the window opened its eyes and sat up when it heard the noise. The door opened and a familiar person appeared.
"Kitty, are you still here? I brought you some sausage." Jane sat on the sofa by the window, placed the five crumpled-up roadblocks on the table, and pulled some sausage out of her bag. She tore open the packaging, revealing the tempting sausage meat. She pushed the window open a little and placed half a sausage next to it.
"Eat it, this flavor is my favorite."
The red-tailed cat had an indifferent look on its face and didn't even bother to smell it.
"You don't like it?" Jane was puzzled. "There's nothing else in the supermarket. The refrigerator is mostly filled with snacks, and there are more seasonings than sausages. I wouldn't buy you sausages during the day. It would be better to buy some chicken to cook. There are too many oils, salts and seasonings. If you eat too much, you will lose hair and become bald. Just imagine a bald cat, how ugly it is."
The red-tailed cat subconsciously glanced at the window glass, and saw its own lush fur inside, and breathed a sigh of relief.
She has so much hair that she won't be bald.
"Are you thinking about your cat life? If I hadn't sensed a demonic aura in you, I would have thought you were a demon cat." Jane Yi's eyes fell on the sausage by the window. "You really don't want to eat it? I bought it especially for you, and you won't even try a bite?"
The red-tailed cat looked at the half piece of sausage beside its feet and was unmoved.
"I should have let you smell it first."
The red-tailed cat was shocked when he saw Jane reaching out her hand from the window. Could it be that she wanted to pick up the half sausage and eat it?
Why is there such a frivolous person living under the same roof with her?
Just as Jane Yi was about to reach the sausage, the red-tailed cat suddenly kicked out and stepped on half of the sausage, looking indifferent and disgusted.
Jian Yi was so happy that she covered her mouth and laughed out loud: "Don't you want to eat? Are you protecting the food?"
"I won't take yours," Jane said regretfully. "How could I possibly take the kitten's food? That would be too much of a bully for the cat."
"Hurry up and eat!" Jian Yi urged, "You're stepping on it instead of eating it, are you playing? You're not a demon cat. Judging from your reaction just now, you can understand what I'm saying, right?"
The red-tailed cat had a bad expression on its face, and glanced at the half sausage that was stepped on by its furry little feet with disgust.
eat?
It’s been stepped on, can you still eat it?
The person inside is really unrefined and especially untidy. How could she sign a contract with such a tenant and agree to let him move in?
I threw the sausage by the window for her to eat, but didn’t you put a clean plate or bowl there?
He even reminded her to eat the sausage that had been stepped on by feet. I can't stand it.
"Are you thinking about cat birth again?"
"How about eating while you think? You don't seem to like this, so I'll eat the rest. I'll buy you some cat food after I get my bonus, provided you're still here. Pick out a flavor I like, and if you're not here, I can still eat it, so it won't be wasted."
The red-tailed cat couldn't bear to look at Jane Yi when she heard what she said. Not only did she eat the ham sausage she bought for her, but she also ate her cat food. Why did she know such a person?
It is true that you can judge a person by his appearance but not by his heart.
She looks like a clean and refreshing girl, but she actually has this kind of hobby.
Although Jane Yi could understand some of the red-tailed cat's expressions, she didn't have the ability to read minds and had no way of knowing what the other party was thinking.
She ate the remaining half of the sausage first, then took out another sausage, tore off the packaging and ate it. "I'm so hungry! I should have asked the store to send more food. With my appetite, I can't even touch the food in the refrigerator. If I accidentally empty the refrigerator, I'll scare the landlady. This place is comfortable to live in, I really don't want to move."
Jane set her eyes on the sausage under the red-tailed cat's furry little feet. The red-tailed cat felt uncomfortable after being stared at, so she simply kicked the sausage down.
"Hey, little cat, you're wasting food!" Jane glared. "Do you know how many stray cats there are out there who have to pick up garbage to eat? You actually pushed the good sausage away. You really don't know how to appreciate the good things you have. Today I want to have a good talk with you, little cat who wastes food."
A hint of a sneer crossed the corner of the red-tailed cat's mouth. Of course, you couldn't tell she was sneering from her cat-like appearance. But Jane could still tell that she was proud of herself, proud of pushing that half sausage down.
She was a little angry, puffing out her cheeks. "Next time you're starving, I won't buy you any more sausages, and I won't have any cat food either. I can tell you've never been hungry before, and you don't know how uncomfortable it is. I'll buy you more when you realize your mistake."
The red-tailed cat sat there arrogantly, looking as if it didn't matter to him, which made Jane very angry.
"You're such an irritating little cat."
The red-tailed cat wagged its tail and glanced under the window. Seeing that the sausage was covered with a thick layer of dust, it felt even more proud. This unclean fellow actually wanted her to eat the sausage that had been stepped on by his feet.
Um?
The red-tailed cat suddenly noticed that Jane Yi had walked out of the room, and thought to himself, is she really angry because of half a sausage?
She is a cat now, a small animal. Will humans be angry with small animals?
After a while, she heard the noise again and found that Jane had actually walked to the outside of the window. She had a bad feeling in her heart, and sure enough, she saw Jane actually picked up the half sausage.
The red-tailed cat’s expression is hard to describe. Could it still be eaten?
Jane looked at the ash-covered sausage and decided to wash it inside to feed the other stray cats. She remembered that she was now living in the human world and couldn't eat dirty food. But she had been hungry for so long, and she couldn't just sit there and watch the food fall to the ground. As a last resort, she could wash it and give it to the stray cats rummaging through the trash cans.
The red-tailed cat couldn't stand someone picking up food from the ground in front of her, so she kicked her hind legs and rushed towards Jane. However, when she ran to a certain range, there was no way to go any further, so she could only return to the window in frustration.
If the guy inside dares to eat that half sausage in front of her, she will ask him to leave tomorrow.
Jane Yi did not go back to her room. She washed the sausage and came out again. She came to the red-tailed cat and grabbed her.
"I'll take you to see how much the wild cat likes this sausage." Jane rubbed the cat, and the touch was really good. "Just take a look, I'm not mad at you anymore. I know you're a wealthy cat and you're quite particular. Next time I give you food, I'll ask you if you want to eat it. You understand human nature, too. If you don't want to eat it, just shake your head, and I won't give it to you."
The red-tailed cat felt a little better, but she was very uncomfortable being carried.
"It's very dirty outside. You need to get your little feet dirty. I'll carry you out to see some wild cats." Of course, she also wanted to take the opportunity to pet the cat, or even rub its fur until it was completely bald. Kittens are so cute, even if the other party is arrogant and particular.
"It was my fault tonight. I didn't ask you what you like to eat. After all, you are not an ordinary cat. How can you eat anything casually, right?" Jane admitted her mistake, diverted the red-tailed cat's attention, and stroked it twice more.
After being praised, the red-tailed cat struggled less.
Jane held the cat and wandered outside, sniffing out the stray cat's scent. She quickly located it. The stray cat was black and a bit dirty. Instinctively, upon hearing Jane's signal, it lay motionless on the ground in fear until she placed some sausages in front of it.
"Eat quickly."
Just now she actually found some sausages in the refrigerator, which she hadn't noticed before, so she took out one more.
Well, I'd better buy some food and put it in the refrigerator next time. I can't always take the landlady's things.
The wild cat found that Jane really didn't want to do anything to it, so it sniffed the sausage and started eating it happily.
"Look, how much people like them. This is the living condition of wild cats, and you still don't cherish them."
The red-tailed cat was held by Jane with an indifferent look on her face, as she was not a real cat.
Seeing the dirty black cat, she still felt a little panicked. If she really turned into a cat, would she wander around outside, rummaging through trash cans, and snatching food from other stray cats?
"Are you scared?" Jane thought that her education tonight was very successful, so she took the cat back and put the red-tailed cat back on the windowsill.
"It's a cruel place out there. Did you sneak out because you're too bad-tempered and picky, so you planned to run away from home? Now you know cats out there have a hard time, right? Hurry back to your owner. I left you here because I was worried you wouldn't find your way. You understand human nature, so you should be able to find your way home from this location."
Jane Yi returned to the room and touched her stomach: "I'm still hungry."
"Three days. You can collect your prize money in three days, and then you can have a good meal."
She looked at the five roadblocks on the table and couldn't help swallowing her saliva. In three days, not only could she receive the bonus, but she could also swallow these five. This would be more filling than a meal.
"Good night, kitty. Time to sleep."
Jane didn't draw the curtains. After washing up, she said hello to the red-tailed cat and fell asleep on the bed.
The red-tailed cat sat by the window, lost in thought, not feeling sleepy at all. After a while, she looked at herself in the glass window, a little worried that it was morning.
Can she change back?
She'd always felt something was wrong before. Was it because she turned into a cat at night? Why didn't she have any memories?
When she thought of the dirty stray black cat, her mind was full of thoughts of it wandering around and stealing food, and she felt sick all over.
