Chapter 56 The Circus Fruit Farmer Clown 06 Favorability 90%

Chapter 56 The Circus Fruit Farmer Clown 06 Favorability 90%

Seeing the undisguised madness in Hisoka's eyes and that smile that was exactly like the Joker card, Ayana swallowed back the words of advice she wanted to say.

She understood that trying to persuade Hisoka was pointless and might even tear their fragile alliance apart immediately.

Clearly, she had no choice but to accept Hisoka's approach.

Given that she had not yet completed her mission, the latter was clearly not a wise choice.

Ayana nodded silently, averting her gaze from the gradually cooling corpse on the arena.

Hisoka seemed pleased with her tact, and his smile returned to its usual nonchalant cheerfulness.

"That's more like it! So, next we'll climb up! I wonder if the 'toys' up there will be sturdier?"

He licked away a trace of blood from the edge of the playing card and turned his gaze to the light screen in the center of the hall that displayed the floor information.

The two returned to their respective rooms one after the other, without continuing their conversation.

As night deepened, the soundproofing of the makeshift rooms provided by the Sky Arena was not very good. The distant noise and lingering sounds of battle seemed like the never-ending background noise of this giant tower.

Ayana lay on the hard bed, closing her eyes to rest, when she suddenly realized that someone had invaded her room.

A figure, almost blending into the shadows, approached her door silently, like a ghost, without making a sound.

Immediately afterwards, a "click" sound came from the door lock, as if someone was trying to pick the lock from the outside and open her door.

Ayana suddenly opened her eyes, her body reacting before her mind could process it. She jumped off the bed and hid in a corner of the room, wanting to see who the visitor was.

Moonlight streamed through the narrow window, outlining a tall and familiar figure.

The boy's red hair shone like a smoldering flame in the dim light, and his golden vertical pupils gleamed with a predatory light in the darkness.

It's Hisoka.

With an intrigued expression on his face, a playing card between his fingers, he strolled in slowly, his gaze precisely fixed on the corner where Ayana was hiding.

"Good evening, little kitten~" His voice was exceptionally clear in the quiet room, carrying a hint of lazy sweetness, "It's a long night, a bit boring~ How about we play a game?"

Before he finished speaking, he flicked his wrist, and the playing card was not aimed directly at Ayana, but blocked one of the directions she could have dodged.

At the same time, Hisoka himself pounced like an arrow, his five fingers whistling as he grabbed at her shoulder.

Hisoka did not use his killing move.

His actions were more like a provocation and a test.

Hisoka seems to want to test Ayana's strength.

Ayana's heart tightened. Without thinking, she leaned back, narrowly avoiding his grab, while simultaneously sweeping her calf towards his lower body.

Hisoka chuckled, neither dodging nor avoiding, but instead met her kick head-on, using his arm to deflect it. His other hand reached out again, still targeting her joints and vital points, but with even greater speed and force.

"Not bad reaction~ Looks like you didn't use your full strength when you were playing with those small fry during the day~"

His attacks were playful yet relentless, forcing Ayana to fight back with all her might.

The cramped room became a makeshift arena.

The tables and chairs were knocked and moved, making a dull thud.

Ayana did not use the special ability [Powerful Amplification].

She realized that Hisoka also seemed to have restrained most of his power and did not want to reveal his true strength.

The two have completely different fighting styles.

Ayana's fighting techniques lean towards agility and grappling, as she tries to find opportunities to control Hisoka's ferocious offensive.

Hisoka's actions were even more unpredictable, full of improvisation and mischievous tricks. He would occasionally brush the edge of a playing card against her arm or cheek, bringing a cool touch and a slight sting, but without actually hurting her.

"What's wrong, little kitten? Is that all?" Hisoka's voice was close, hot and scorching. "Or... are you still hiding something?"

Ayana seized the opportunity and slammed her elbow into his ribs.

Hisoka seemed to have deliberately created this opening, neither dodging nor avoiding, and took the blow head-on. He let out a muffled groan, but his eyes blazed with even more intense excitement as he grabbed her wrist with his other hand.

The two were instantly locked in a stalemate.

Ayana could clearly feel the astonishing power emanating from Hisoka's arm, as well as the unique scent emanating from him, a mixture of blood and a certain sweet fragrance.

Hisoka stood very close to her, his golden vertical pupils fixed on her, his voice possessing a magnetic quality that was almost bewitching.

That's it...

"Kitty, please bring me more surprises, otherwise I'll get more and more bored."

Ayana suddenly broke free, took a few steps back, slightly out of breath, and stared at him warily.

She didn't speak, but her eyes clearly conveyed the message: "Enough is enough."

Hisoka looked at her wary expression and suddenly chuckled softly, his shoulders shaking as if he had encountered something extremely amusing.

He didn't attack again, but put away his cards and lazily stretched.

"Alright, alright~ That's enough for tonight~" He licked his lips, as if he had tasted something delicious. "Finally... I'm a little more energetic~"

He turned around and, just as he had come, walked silently toward the door. Before stepping out, he glanced back at Ayana with that enigmatic smile on his face.

Goodnight, my dear kitten~ I hope tomorrow's game... will be even more fun~

The door was gently closed, and the room returned to silence, leaving only Ayana Yiren.

Leaning against the cold wall, she felt that Hisoka was too neurotic, and she really couldn't figure him out.

The system then issued an untimely reminder.

[Detected that Hisoka's affection level is 50%.]

[Please keep up the good work, host!]

Ayana twitched her lips, thinking that Hisoka was probably fairly satisfied with her.

Otherwise, the favorability rating wouldn't have increased from 0% to 50%.

She lay in bed, no longer thinking about anything else, and closed her eyes, preparing to fall into a deep sleep.

In the days that followed, the two began to climb rapidly in the Sky Arena, devoting all their energy to fighting and improving their strength.

Hisoka's battles almost turned into a series of bloody performances.

He enjoys pushing his opponents to the brink and relishing their fear and despair.

His poker cards are unpredictable, often leaving his opponents with countless non-fatal but extremely humiliating and painful wounds before delivering the fatal blow.

Hisoka's reputation quickly spread throughout the lower floors; he was known as the "Grim Reaper Clown" or the "Bloody Magician," inspiring fear in all who heard of him.

For Hisoka, every battle was a feast, and his golden vertical pupils always shone with excitement.

In contrast, Ayana's fighting style appeared much simpler.

She tries to avoid unnecessary killing, relying more on her flexibility, strength, and fighting skills to win.

She would use joint locks and chokes to force her opponent to surrender, or seize an opening to knock her opponent off the ring.

Ayana's fighting style is efficient and calm, even "clean," which contrasts sharply with Hisoka's.

Although she has accumulated some victories, they are far less remarkable than Hisoka's.

As they progressed through the levels, the opponents they encountered indeed became increasingly stronger.

They are stronger, faster, and some opponents have even begun to use Nen abilities.

They overcame all obstacles and achieved remarkable results.

Finally, on the fifteenth day after arriving at the Sky Arena, Ayana won her victory on the 49th floor after a fierce battle, throwing her opponent out of the ring with a precise back throw.

Around the same time, Hisoka also defeated his opponent on the 49th floor.

The information on the magnetic cards in their hands was updated, granting them access to the 50th floor.

[New quest unlocked: Reach level 100 in the Sky Arena.]

[Task Reward: 2000 points.]

Hisoka stood in front of the elevator leading to the 50th floor, playing with the brand-new magnetic card, a lingering smile on his face: "50th floor... I heard that it's from here that you really step into the game~ The ones below are just warm-ups after all."

Ayana didn't speak, but pressed the elevator button, and the metal doors slowly opened: "Let's go."

Hisoka chuckled softly and stepped inside. His golden pupils reflected the constantly changing floor numbers above the elevator, filled with boundless anticipation for the new toys and games.

The elevator ascended, carrying the two people slowly upwards.

The elevator ascended smoothly and finally stopped on the 50th floor.

After qualifying for the 50th floor, Ayana and Hisoka's room environment was significantly improved.

They remained in adjacent rooms, just as before.

The continuous fighting had left her somewhat exhausted, and after taking a hot bath, Ayana fell into a deep sleep, a sleep even deeper than usual.

She didn't know how much time had passed when an extreme sense of danger suddenly awakened her.

Ayana suddenly opened her eyes, only to find herself not lying in bed, but in a dark, abandoned warehouse, her hands tied behind her back, her mouth covered with duct tape, and her body tightly bound with ropes.

What happened?!

Why didn't the system notify her?

[Sorry, host, I didn't remind you because this plot is crucial to the current storyline.]

But please rest assured, you will be in no danger.

The system's words quickly calmed Ayana down. She looked around and observed her surroundings.

The warehouse was filled with clutter, and the air was thick with the smell of dust and rust. There was no one there except her.

Who is it?

What is the purpose?

She easily broke free of the rope with her great strength, got up and pushed open the sliding door of the warehouse, only to find a person standing outside.

The man seemed surprised that she would get up, his eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at Ayana. He then quickly assumed a fighting stance and roared.

"Don't even think about leaving, and don't even think about disturbing Big Brother's fight with that weird clown!"

Ayana's eyes darkened, and she instantly understood the group's intentions.

Meanwhile, in the next room, Hisoka, as dawn broke, habitually wanted to "bother" his cat and find some more fun.

He pried open Ayana's door as usual.

The room was empty.

The bed was in disarray, indicating that the owner had left suddenly or been taken away.

A faint, unfamiliar scent lingered in the air.

Hisoka's languid smile slowly froze, and his golden vertical pupils narrowed slightly, like a venomous snake that had discovered its prey had been stolen.

He carefully inspected the room.

The absence of any signs of a fight indicates that the opponent was either far stronger than Ayana or used extremely covert methods.

"Oh my gosh~" Hisoka murmured, his voice devoid of emotion, only revealing a chilling amusement, "Someone actually dared to touch my toy?"

He didn't immediately fly into a rage or panic; instead, he seemed to be ignited with some kind of curiosity, unconsciously flipping the playing cards between his fingers.

For Hisoka, this was not just about Ayana's safety, but also about his ownership being challenged and a potential new game beginning.

He carefully searched for clues, when a folded note was suddenly pushed in through the crack in the door by a faint breeze.

Hisoka narrowed his eyes and picked up the note.

The note was written in a distorted script.

[Want to find your companion? Fight me today, defeat me, and you'll know where she is. If you're too scared to come, then you'll have to deal with her yourself.]

Hisoka raised an eyebrow at the contents of the note.

He licked his lips, his golden vertical pupils showing even greater interest. He then casually crushed the note and headed straight for the elevator, heading towards the arena.

Around nine o'clock in the morning, the audience gradually filled up, all eagerly anticipating the appearance of "Death Clown" Hisoka.

This unexpected challenge has attracted a lot of attention.

Hisoka appeared on the ring right on time, still with that nonchalant air, flipping playing cards between his fingers.

His opponent was a tall, bald, muscular man codenamed "Heavy Artillery".

Heavy Cannon stared at Hisoka, his eyes filled with undisguised hostility and greed.

"So you're that clown who pulls tricks and shows off?" His voice was laced with provocation. "I've had my eye on you for ages! All you do is play those fancy tricks. Today I'll show you what real power is!"

Heavy Cannon clenched his fists and said viciously, "As long as I defeat you, the rising star 'Grim Reaper Clown,' my name will resound throughout the entire arena. Then, tons of hires and sponsorships will come knocking on my door, and I'll be rich!"

"Therefore, you are destined to become my stepping stone today!"

A typical guy who fights for fame and fortune.

Hisoka's face showed a bored expression. "What an unoriginal motive~"

He sighed and waved his hand, "I hope your skills are more interesting than your nonsense."

"The match begins!" the referee waved.

With a roar, the heavy cannon's muscles bulged, revealing it to be a Nen user of the Enhancement type.

He strode heavily towards Hisoka like a chariot, his massive fist slamming down with a whooshing sound, its power astonishing.

Hisoka did not choose to take the lap head-on, but instead avoided it.

Heavy Cannon's fist slammed into the ring floor with a dull thud, leaving a shallow crater.

"Too slow, big guy~" Hisoka chuckled, and a playing card shot out from his fingertip like a venomous snake, aimed directly at the heavy cannon's eye!

Heavy Artillery reacted quickly, jerking his head to the side. A playing card grazed his cheekbone, leaving a trail of blood.

He roared and turned around, unleashing a barrage of punches as he tried to overwhelm Hisoka with a barrage of attacks.

However, Hisoka's movements were too unpredictable, always dodging attacks from seemingly impossible angles, and the playing cards appeared and disappeared unpredictably, constantly adding small wounds to Heavy Cannon's body.

These wounds, though shallow, greatly humiliated and enraged the heavy artillery.

"Damn it! Don't dodge if you dare!" Heavy Cannon was panting heavily, his attacks repeatedly missed, and his stamina was greatly depleted, while Hisoka still seemed to be handling the situation with ease.

"Hmph~ You can't even touch the hem of my clothes, and you expect me not to dodge?" Hisoka's voice was mocking. "Looks like your heavy cannon is just a dud~"

Laughter erupted from the audience.

Heavy Artillery's face turned from red to green, then from green to white, filled with shame and indignation.

He realized that he had been completely outmaneuvered by Hisoka in terms of speed and skill.

If this continues, he will undoubtedly lose and become a laughing stock!

Despair and anger twisted the mind of the heavy artillery.

He suddenly jumped back a step, ceasing his futile attack, and roared menacingly at Hisoka, "Stop, Hisoka! Don't you want to save your comrades?"

Hisoka stopped moving.

However, the smile on his face did not diminish at all; instead, it became even more profound and dangerous.

"Oh?" He uttered a cryptic syllable, his golden vertical pupils narrowing as he stared at the heavy cannon. "Using a kitten to threaten me?"

“That’s right!” Baron thought his threat had worked and became smug. “If you don’t want her to die, you’d better admit defeat and kneel down to beg me!”

Hisoka stared at him quietly for a few seconds, then suddenly chuckled softly.

"Hehe...hahaha!" His laughter grew louder and louder, filled with pleasure and a chilling madness.

Baron felt a chill run down his spine from his laughter: "What...what are you laughing at?!"

Hisoka stopped laughing, looked at Baron with the same gaze he'd given a dead man, and said in a light tone:

"I'm laughing at you~ You're such a complete idiot~"

"First, I hate it when people disturb my game, and I hate it even more when people threaten me with such underhanded means."

"Secondly, do you really think... you can do anything to my kitten?"

No sooner had he finished speaking than a figure rushed down from the audience.

The girl weaved through the crowd, heading straight for the ring. She leaned against the railing and shouted at Hisoka.

"Hisoka, if you lose this match, I'm going to make trouble for you!"

"Beat him up!"

Upon hearing the girl's voice, Hisoka chuckled and stood on one leg, watching the heavy cannon with great interest.

The latter stared in disbelief at the girl below the stage, her face drained of color.

Hisoka's smile, however, was incredibly bright: "Looks like... the game's over~"

The next second, his figure vanished instantly!

Heavy Cannon only felt a blur before his eyes, and Hisoka was already in front of him; he didn't even have time to react.

Several playing cards, like blooming blood-red flowers, instantly pierced the joints of the heavy cannon.

It wasn't a fatal injury, but it completely disabled his ability to move.

Hisoka walked up to him, looking down at him with icy eyes.

"You want to use me to climb the ladder and make money? Sure."

"But using this method..."

He crouched down and gently tapped Heavy Artillery's face, which was contorted with pain, with a playing card.

"You'll have to pay the price for that."

Hisoka narrowed his eyes again, and picked up another playing card between his fingers.

"Winner! Hisoka!" The referee quickly announced the result, fearing that another moment's delay might result in another death.

A complex commotion erupted from the stands, ranging from amazement at Hisoka's immense strength to disdain for Heavy Cannon's despicable actions.

Hisoka stood up, glanced at the figure of Heavy Cannon slumped on the ground like mud, and lost all interest.

Ignoring the referee's announcement and the audience's clamor, he lightly leaped off the ring and walked straight to Ayana, who was leaning against the railing. His golden vertical pupils swept over her, as if confirming something.

"Hmm~ Looks like my kitten has sharpened its claws itself?" His tone rose, carrying a hint of barely perceptible inquiry and concern. "Are you alright?"

Ayana straightened up, shook her head, and said in a flat tone, "A few minor characters can't hold me back."

She briefly recounted how she was kidnapped and how easily she escaped, saying only that she broke free of her restraints after noticing something was wrong, knocked out the guards, and then searched for them all the way here.

Hisoka listened, his smile growing even deeper and more amusing.

He reached out and gently brushed Ayana's cheek with his fingertips.

There was an almost invisible red mark there, which was accidentally scratched by rough wood shavings when Ayana broke free from her restraints in the warehouse.

"Looks like I've been meddling?" His voice was low, tinged with a dangerous intimacy. "I was hoping for a classic hero-saves-the-damsel-in-distress scenario~"

Ayana tilted her head slightly to avoid his touch: "There's no need. If I can't even beat those people, I don't need to stay here."

She paused, looking at the heavy artillery being carried away: "But you seem to have had a good time?"

"Enjoyable? Well, it was a bit boring at first." Hisoka shrugged, as if he hadn't been the one who had instantly crippled his opponent. "But seeing his shattered hope at the end made up for the boredom a little—especially..."

He drew out his words, his gaze shifting to a corner of the audience, a cold smile curving his lips.

"Especially when you see the expressions on your accomplices' faces."

Ayana followed his gaze and saw a thin man, pale-faced, frantically trying to squeeze through the crowd.

Almost at the same time Ayana noticed the man, Hisoka twitched his fingertips, and a playing card was silently launched.

The skinny man screamed and collapsed to the ground.

A playing card pierced his calf precisely, and blood quickly stained his trouser leg.

He clutched his legs and rolled on the ground in agony, unable to escape any longer.

"The game isn't over yet, how can the participants leave prematurely?" Hisoka chuckled softly.

"The game isn't over yet, how can the participants leave early?" Hisoka chuckled softly, as if he had only done something insignificant.

However, this casual yet cruel scene, witnessed by everyone, completely crossed the line of the Sky Arena.

Several people quickly parted the crowd and surrounded them.

The leader, with a cold expression, glanced at the thin man groaning in pain on the ground, then looked at Hisoka, who seemed indifferent, and said in a deep voice, "Hisoka, you have violated the rules of the arena. Given that you attacked a non-participant, you are hereby suspended for three days. This will be carried out immediately. Please come with us for further investigation."

Hisoka raised an eyebrow, his face showing no sign of annoyance, but rather a playful expression.

He even looked at the speaker with great interest, as if assessing the other party's strength.

"Hmm~ So many rules." He shrugged, showing no intention of resisting, but turned back to wink at Ayana, his tone light, "Looks like we'll have to part ways for now, little kitty~ Don't get snatched away by other stray cats and dogs these three days."

He didn't look like he was about to be punished at all.

Ayana watched as he was taken away, while the surrounding crowd buzzed with discussion, mostly expressing fear of Hisoka's ruthless methods and schadenfreude over his suspension.

She stood there, her face calm, but her thoughts were racing.

Hisoka's suspension means that their progress toward the 100th floor will be temporarily slowed down, but it also gives her some time to act and think on her own.

However, she knew very well that, given Hisoka's personality, these three days of rest would not be peaceful.

The accomplice whose calf was pierced will likely have to endure even more of Hisoka's taunts.

Hisoka will not let the mastermind behind it all off easily.

She lowered her eyes, no longer thinking about Hisoka.

Over the past three days, Ayana fought several battles on her own, maintaining a stable win rate and steadily climbing the ranks.

She didn't deliberately inquire about Hisoka, but rumors about him kept reaching her ears.

It is said that the accomplice who was taken away endured three extremely terrifying hours in the interrogation room of the Sky Arena. When he came out, he was almost mentally broken and confessed everything in tears, pointing out that Heavy Artillery was the mastermind, and that his purpose was fame and fortune.

Hisoka himself, on the other hand, seemed to be having a very comfortable time in the confinement room.

A guard privately revealed that the guy spent most of his time playing cards to build towers, or practicing his bizarre movements against the wall, and occasionally humming off-key songs, completely unaware of being punished.

On the morning of the fourth day, as soon as Ayana opened her door, she saw a familiar figure leaning lazily against the opposite wall.

Hisoka changed into clean clothes, his red hair still flamboyant, and his golden vertical pupils lit up slightly when he saw her, as if a wild beast that had been dormant for three days had finally been released from its cage, with a hint of impatient excitement.

"Good morning, little kitten~" He smiled his signature smile and asked, "Did you miss me?"

Before Ayana could answer, Hisoka straightened up and flicked a brand new magnetic card from his fingertip, showing that his floor information had been updated.

"The suspension is over!" His voice was full of eagerness. "After three days of stagnation, it's time to pick up the pace! I can feel the toys up there waiting for us!"

His gaze drifted toward the elevator, which led to higher floors, foreshadowing fiercer battles and more unpredictable adversaries.

Ayana could sense the almost overflowing fighting spirit and a deeper expectation emanating from him. She silently took out her magnetic card and headed for the elevator.

“Let’s go,” she said.

Hisoka chuckled and followed with light steps.

The elevator doors closed, carrying the two upwards once more, heading deeper into the Sky Arena.

The elevator ascended smoothly, and the numbers kept changing.

The opponents after the 50th floor are much stronger than those on the lower floors.

Hisoka was like a ferocious beast that had broken free of its reins; the three days of suspension seemed to have accumulated even more madness and energy within him.

His battles increasingly resembled meticulously planned, bloody art; the playing cards in his hands were no longer merely weapons, but rather an extension of his limbs.

He created countless dazzling and chilling murder schemes.

Hisoka is no longer content with simply defeating his opponents; he is more interested in uncovering their potential, appreciating the final burst of brilliance they display in dire situations, and then personally extinguishing it.

The playful combat at the lower levels has diminished, replaced by a more efficient and brutal hunt.

His name, "Grim Reaper Clown" or "Bloody Magician," becomes more than just terrifying as he ascends through the levels; it also carries an added layer of mystery and power.

And Ayana is growing rapidly under this high-pressure environment.

She maintained a relatively clean fighting style, trying to avoid fatal wounds. However, as her opponents grew stronger, she had to use her superhuman strength more frequently and even began to make preliminary attempts to apply the [Powerful Amplification] more precisely in terms of instantaneous bursts and defense.

Her fighting skills have become increasingly refined through real combat, and she demonstrates amazing adaptability and calm judgment when facing all sorts of strange and unusual opponents.

Ayana will take advantage of her opponents' underestimation of her strength, using exquisite joint locks to lock them in place. When powerful opponents launch a fierce attack, she will use softness to overcome hardness, borrowing their force to throw them off the ring.

Gradually, Ayana's name began to spread.

People talked about her fighting style, which was completely different from Hisoka's, her superhuman strength that didn't match her petite frame, and her calm and unwavering eyes even in the heat of battle.

Unlike Hisoka, she wasn't flamboyant or crazy, but she possessed a calm and composed aura that commanded respect.

Hisoka saw all of this.

He would still visit Ayana's room late at night from time to time to play his game full of provocation and challenge.

But Ayana could sense that his attacks were no longer as obviously playful as they had been initially; instead, they were more like a test.

To test whether she can keep up with his pace, and to test whether she can continue to grow.

Sometimes, when Ayana skillfully evaded his tricky barrage of playing cards or deftly neutralized his fierce grappling, Hisoka's golden vertical pupils would flash with undisguised admiration and increasingly intense interest.

[Detected that Hisoka's affection level is 65%.]

[Detected that the good boy [Hisoka]'s affection level is 75%.]

The system notification sound occasionally rings out during breaks in battle or after late-night gameplay.

Ayana was used to this, and silently regarded it as a quantitative indicator of whether Hisoka was interesting to her.

The increase in favorability means that Aiana's toy value in Hisoka's heart is gradually increasing.

The two made rapid progress in this delicate and dangerous relationship.

70th floor, 80th floor, 90th floor, ...

Finally, the two of them stepped into the 100th floor of the Sky Arena at the same time.

[New mission unlocked: Fight Hisoka in the ring]

[Task Reward: 1000 points.]

[Note: This is the last mission in the current world. After completing the mission, you will be teleported to the next world.]

Ayana was stunned for a moment, not expecting that her journey in this world would end so soon.

The elevator stopped on the 100th floor, and the doors slowly opened, revealing a lobby that was far more luxurious and spacious than the floors below.

Hisoka fiddled with the newly updated magnetic card, his face showing a satisfied yet increasingly hungry expression.

"Finally, it's over, alright?" He licked his lips, looking at Ayana, his golden eyes gleaming with extreme excitement. "The next game shouldn't disappoint me anymore~ What do you say, my dear little cat~"

Ayana looked at the familiar yet dangerous gleam of excitement in Hisoka's eyes, then glanced at the new mission issued by the system in her mind, and a strange sense of calm enveloped her.

Since this is her last battle before leaving, she hopes that this battle will be more meaningful and not just a perfunctory fight for points.

Instead of responding with a simple "Let's go" as usual, she raised her eyes and looked directly into Hisoka's golden vertical pupils, which seemed capable of burning one's soul. Her tone was calm, yet carried an unprecedented seriousness.

"Hisso".

She rarely called him by his name so directly, which made Hisoka raise an eyebrow slightly, his playful smile fading and revealing a look of inquiry.

"uh-huh?"

“The battle below,” Ayana said slowly, her gaze sweeping across the magnificent hall on the 100th floor, as if she could see through the layers of floorboards to the even stronger opponents waiting for them. “Let’s have a fight.”

Hisoka's smile slowly faded.

He stared intently at Ayana, his languid aura vanishing, replaced by the aura of a predator.

The silence, though only a few seconds long, felt like an eternity.

Then, Hisoka's lips slowly curled into a huge, twisted smile, full of ecstasy and indescribable satisfaction.

His smile stretched almost to his ears, perfectly mirroring the image of his Joker card, a breathtaking blend of madness and beauty.

He chuckled softly, then burst into laughter, the sound echoing in the empty elevator lobby, filled with undisguised joy and a sense of relief as if he had finally gotten what he wanted after a long wait.

“That’s wonderful…that’s fantastic!” He stopped laughing, his golden pupils narrowing to slits with extreme excitement, surging with Ayana’s pure and fiery fighting spirit. “My dear little cat…you’ve finally extended an invitation to me!”

He stepped forward, almost touching Ayana's nose to hers, his hot breath brushing against her cheek, his voice deep and magnetic, carrying a seductive promise.

I promise you!

"I will personally unwrap the gift that I have been looking forward to the most and that I cherish the most during this time."

[Detected that the good boy [Hisoka] has a 90% affection level.]

The system notification sounded in Ayana's mind, and the soaring numbers confirmed Hisoka's surging emotions at that moment.

Ayana lowered her eyes and said softly, "Let's set the date for tomorrow."
