Chapter 123 Fei Rong and the Little Fatty

The next day, the sun rose in the east, and the morning glow was absolutely beautiful, creating a vibrant scene.

Sui Xin had been up for a while, but hadn't moved. Xi Yun was lying on top of her, still half asleep.

Meanwhile, the others were still sleeping; no one had refined a single bamboo stalk yesterday, and they were all exhausted.

Only the chubby boy sat by the fire, his face bruised and battered, looking utterly miserable.

He was sleeping soundly last night when Fei Rong suddenly grabbed him by the back of his collar and dragged him deep into the bamboo forest. Before he could react, she beat him severely without asking any questions.

She won't answer when I ask her why, and I don't know what I did to offend her. She's such a violent person.

Then, Fei Rong also sat up. When she saw the little fat boy, her face flushed, her fists clenched, and she walked towards him.

Upon seeing this, the chubby boy immediately stood up and, while backing away, said, "Hey, what are you doing?"

Fei Rong didn't care about any of that. Who told him to give her that kind of book? She punched the fat man in the belly.

The chubby boy didn't react in time and was sent flying by a single punch.

He was also getting annoyed and yelled, "Hey, what's going on with you? Give me a reason! Is this how you bully people?"

Before Fei Rong could speak, the others were woken up. After seeing what was going on, Peng Fei said, "What's wrong with you guys? Why are you arguing so early in the morning?"

"How should I know? This crazy woman is like this from the start. She must have taken the wrong medicine," the chubby boy complained quickly.

“You…you shameless,” Xi Yun said with a similarly aggrieved expression. The usually strong-willed Xi Yun now looked as if she had been bullied, with tears welling up in her eyes.

She actually knew about those things between men and women, but the little fat boy's books were just... indescribable. Her thoughts felt like they had been defiled, and she felt wronged but had nowhere to vent her frustration, so all she could do was beat up the fat boy.

Seeing Fei Rong like this, the chubby boy panicked a bit. After thinking for a while, he realized that it might be a problem with the book, and he felt a sense of foreboding.

"Fatty, what did you do?" Qianyu walked to Fei Rong's side, comforting her while questioning the chubby boy.

"Haha, well... cough, Senior Sister Fei, I'm really sorry, this is my fault. If you want to fight, then keep fighting," the chubby boy said sincerely.

"Okay, come here," Fei Rong said without any hesitation, turning around and walking away.

The chubby boy sighed and had no choice but to follow; he had only himself to blame for taking the joke too far.

Lu Cheng sat to the side, looking puzzled. What was going on?

Reaching the edge of a cliff, Fei Rong turned around, took out the book, and slammed it hard against the chubby boy, scattering it in all directions as it drifted away with the wind.

"I'm sorry, I didn't expect this to have such a big impact on you," the chubby boy said first, full of guilt.

Fei Rong wouldn't listen to reason and, without thinking twice, attacked him, landing several heavy punches.

Half an incense stick later, she finally stopped, panting heavily, but the fat man was no longer human; he was lying on the ground, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

"Are you done venting?" the chubby boy asked with difficulty. "If you're still not satisfied, let's continue."

Hearing the fat man's words, Fei Rong regained her senses a little. Seeing his disheveled appearance, she felt that she might have gone too far.

After all, I was the one who asked first last night.

"Ahem, let's leave it at that. Don't mess with me again," Fei Rong said forcefully as she walked past him.

"Sorry," the chubby boy whispered as she passed by.

Fei Rong ignored it and continued walking forward. After a few steps, she tossed a medicine bottle over her shoulder, which landed in front of the chubby boy.

The fat man took the medicine bottle and held it in his hand, lost in thought, before smiling calmly.

A unique seed gradually sprouted in my heart.

...

Fei Rong continued walking outside, wanting to be alone for a while.

After walking around the edge of the mountain for a short while, I suddenly saw Suixin and Xiyun.

They looked so harmonious, the sunlight shining on them as if they were wearing new clothes.

A little while later, Xi Yun slowly woke up, stretched, and found herself still lying in Sui Xin's arms. She was overjoyed and exclaimed, "This is so comfortable!"

Sui Xin smiled wryly, touched Xi Yun's hair, and said nothing.

"Hmm? Why aren't you saying anything?" Xi Yun asked, puzzled, when she didn't get a response from Sui Xin.

"Your voice is so beautiful, just listening to you is enough," she said casually, genuinely feeling that way.

"Hehe, that's right," Xi Yun laughed, feeling him touching her hair, and continued, "By the way, Sui Xin, help me comb my hair, and I'll comb yours later."

Since I was sleeping on the ground, even though there was plenty of grass, it was covered in dust. And after a night's sleep, my hair would always be tangled, feeling messy and uncomfortable.

"Okay," he replied casually, and sat up while holding her.

Xi Yun turned around and handed him a comb. Seeing the endless sunrise, she couldn't help but say, "What a beautiful view."

"No scenery is more beautiful than you," she said unconsciously, as she casually combed Xi Yun's hair.

"real?"

“Truly, even the most beautiful scenery in the world will eventually fade away; but the image of you before my eyes will be etched in my heart, untouched by the passage of time,” Sui Xin said slowly.

Xi Yun listened blankly, the corners of her mouth involuntarily turning up. "How come I never noticed before that you're so good at talking?"

“Hehe, that’s right,” Sui Xin said, mimicking Xi Yun’s tone.

Finally, he tucked the hairpin into her hair, patted her head, and said, "Alright, it's my turn."

Without further ado, Xi Yun stood up, walked behind Sui Xin, and helped him untie his hairband, causing his white hair to fall loose.
