Chapter 140 Team Members

After flying for a short while, they arrived at a large square, where three people, one man and two women, were sitting on a large rock.

The male cultivator looked cold and ruthless, with an ancient sword stuck in the ground beside him; the two female cultivators looked somewhat alike, with stunningly beautiful appearances, as if they were twins, and they exuded an aura that kept strangers at bay. None of the three seemed to get along well.

The man's name is Jianfeng. He is 21 years old and the grandson of an elder of the sect. At such a young age, he has already reached the peak of the sixth level of True Essence. He is only one step away from stepping into the seventh level and is one of the best in the sect.

The two women beside her, the one with a mole on the corner of her left eye is the older sister, named Xiao Yu; the one with a mole on the corner of her right eye is the younger sister, named Xiao Xue.

Both of them were twenty years old, a little younger than Jianfeng, and were also at the sixth level of cultivation, though they had only recently entered that level. They were exceptionally talented, and had many admirers within the sect.

But now the three of them are sitting together, and none of them want to talk to each other. That's just how people from the Sword Sect are. If it weren't for the sect's rule that they must be in groups of four, they would never have gathered together.

Xiao Yu and Xiao Xue also didn't get along, and for some reason, their relationship was even worse than that of ordinary disciples; it was a miracle they didn't fight.

They had already decided that once they reached the secret realm, they would act alone, regardless of the rules, as long as they could obtain the opportunity.

"Why aren't they here yet? How long are we supposed to wait?" Jianfeng suddenly spoke, his tone cold.

The reason is simple: most of the other teams have already set off, but they are still waiting for Sui Xin, who is an outer sect disciple and whose cultivation level is said to be not very high.

Just then, Jianjun finally arrived with Suixin.

"I'm sorry to have kept you waiting, my three young friends," Jianjun said with a hearty laugh. He had misremembered the time and thought it was the afternoon.

The three disciples who were sitting immediately stood up. Although they were arrogant, they still respected their senior. They cupped their hands and greeted him, "Greetings, Senior Sword."

"Alright, I brought these people to you. You can talk it over yourselves. Just remember not to be too impulsive," Jianjun added before turning away without looking back. He left the young people's affairs to them.
