As the words fell, Mo Youming's figure disappeared.
The demons, who had been motionless, began to move, their eyes showing a mixture of surprise and bewilderment.
Sui Xin hid behind a rock, watching the movements ahead. The demons did not attack, as if they had lost their target, and stood still, looking around.
That makes sense; it must just be an illusion, otherwise who would have such abilities?
The surrounding environment wasn't exactly harsh, but the smell of blood in the wind made him feel restless.
Could it be because he's possessed by a demon?
After thinking it over for a while, I decided to go out and test the waters first before deciding on a follow-up strategy.
Without further thought, a ball of blood-red flame condensed in his palm. Upon closer inspection, the core of the flame appeared to be black, while the rest was not much different from before, and the temperature was extremely high.
In the blink of an eye, Sui Xin burst off the rock and flew into the air.
The flame gradually grew larger in the palm of his hand until it reached the height of a person before stopping.
Sui Xin, holding a flame, struck the ground with his palm, landing among the demon army.
With a series of booming sounds, a large amount of dust filled the air, and sparks flew everywhere.
Many demons were instantly reduced to ashes, while others collapsed from severe injuries.
However, compared to the entire demon race, this is just a drop in the ocean, and the casualties are barely noticeable.
At this moment, the demons finally spotted Sui Xin and attacked her.
Before he could dodge, countless demons surrounded him, a vast, dark mass.
Many spells flew towards him, and Sui Xin originally thought that he should be fine if he didn't dodge, since it was an illusion and he wouldn't die anyway.
But when the attack actually touched his body, he realized how real the touch was and how real the pain was. He grimaced in pain and couldn't help but curse a few times.
"Suppress the Gods!" Sui Xin shouted, and bolts of lightning surged from his body, like a giant ball of lightning, frantically reaping the surrounding demons. The demons' spells were also blocked, giving him a chance to catch his breath.
"Sizzle, sizzle," the demon's body was torn apart by lightning, and black blood fell from the sky.
Within a few breaths, a large pile of corpses lay on the ground, the yellow sand was stained with black blood, and several rivers of blood flowed outwards.
Above the clouds, in a place unseen by Sui Xin, Mo Youming's figure quietly appeared. Looking at Sui Xin below, he felt that things couldn't continue like this, and that it wasn't what he had expected.
He wanted to see what it would be like to kill to the point of madness, to know if killing would make a demon bloodthirsty, and whether it would change the nature of a demon, turning a good demon into a monster.
However, if you do this at will, you won't even be able to touch the demon's body, and the pleasure of killing will be greatly reduced, which is meaningless.
Below, due to the boundless spiritual and demonic energy within the illusion, the lightning and net continued for a long time until the corpses piled up like mountains, reaching all the way to his feet, before he finally let go.
Sui Xin took a deep breath and sat atop the mountain of corpses.
He gazed thoughtfully at the demons in the distance.
Why have the other demons suddenly stopped attacking? Do they have their own tactics?
Suddenly, a flash of light appeared, and a long sword floated in front of him.
"You will be unable to use your cultivation from now on, but with this sword, every strike will have the power of peak true essence," Mo Youming's voice rang in your ears.
"The demons will attack in waves, one thousand at a time, for a total of one thousand waves. If you want to rest in between, just tell me, and you can leave after we've killed you all," Mo Youming said with a smile.
Sui Xin didn't understand what he meant, but she did as he said.
We need to hurry, Yun'er is still waiting for me at home.
"Come on," Sui Xin said, gripping his longsword and jogging into the demon army.
With a single swing of his sword, three demons fell to the ground, their black blood splattering all over his face.
Ignoring everything else, he continued to swing his sword at will, moving with incredible speed, as if slicing vegetables, and the corpses of the demons fell one by one beneath him.
But the demons weren't to be trifled with either. Mo Youming was also lurking in the shadows, occasionally manipulating two demons to stab Sui Xin in the back.
Before long, Sui Xin was covered in wounds.
The red and black blood intertwined, creating an eerie color that looked incredibly creepy.
As he panted and killed, a strange smile involuntarily appeared on his lips. His movements gradually became bolder, and sometimes he could no longer even defend against the attacks of the demons.
What's even more terrifying is that he suddenly found himself enjoying the feeling of being stabbed, feeling the blade pierce his skin, and hearing the sound of his skin being cut—a bittersweet experience.
"It feels so good," he muttered to himself as he effortlessly slashed four or five demons, just like in the real world.
Mo Youming watched from above, quite satisfied; it had the right feel to it.
And so, wave after wave of attacks from the demons were met with Sui Xin's sword strikes, slaying the demon army.
The black aura surrounding him grew thicker, and his once pure eyes now held a hint of blood red…
...
...
Far away at the Sword Sect, it is now afternoon.
Xi Yun sat in the cultivation room and cultivated.
It has been twenty days since Li Suixin went out to train, and Xiyun's cultivation level only recovered yesterday.
Suddenly, a flutter of emotion flashed through Xi Yun's heart. She opened her eyes, her forehead covered in fine sweat.
As the days went by, her worries grew stronger. The sudden flutter in her heart made her even more anxious. Almost instantly, she thought of Suixin and worried that something might have happened to him.
Just as I was about to go out to ask Jianjun about Suixin's whereabouts, there was a knock on the door.
"Knock knock knock"
"Excuse me, is Ye Xiyun here?" a female voice asked. It was Xiao Yu.
She had just come out of the secret realm that morning, and her memory of what happened inside was hazy. She had even forgotten about meeting Mo Youming. She only remembered that Junior Brother Ye had asked her to pass on a message.
