Chapter 147 Following My Heart and Dawn

People always say that time flies like an arrow and days pass like a shuttle.

But for Xiyun, this was truly agonizing. She hadn't had a good night's sleep in a long time and longed for Suixin to come back every day.

On the thirtieth day, Xiyun couldn't hold back any longer and went to find Jianjun to ask where Suixin had gone.

After some hesitation, Jianjun suggested a place, an abandoned secret realm he had explored before, which was very safe.

Without a doubt, Xi Yun rushed over there without stopping.

After arriving at the secret realm, we explored for more than ten days, but the further we went in, the more uneasy we felt.

Why is there no one here, and no danger at all? All the mechanisms have been destroyed.

Finally reaching the deepest part of the secret realm, Xi Yun sensed something was amiss.

I vaguely sensed something.

Could it be that Jian Lao said that because he was acting on his own?

Thinking of this, Xi Yun was somewhat angry, but more worried about Sui Xin. She punched the wall, and many stones fell down.

But it would have been better if they hadn't smashed it; the smashing caused a problem.

As the rocks fell, a dark cave was revealed, emanating a sinister and terrifying aura, along with the sound of gusts of evil wind howling.

Xi Yun was taken aback, then decided to go in and take a look, thinking that maybe Sui Xin was really inside.

Once Xi Yun was fully inside, the fallen clods of earth returned to their original state, as if nothing had happened.

...

...

An ancient battlefield, a man with his entire body covered in black, and countless corpses.

The bloody wind blew past my nose, and the sound of blood splattering echoed in my ears.

He was like a war god, capable of taking down ten demons with a single strike, invincible in all directions; yet he was also like a demon, picking up a demon's arm and sucking its blood, occasionally letting out bursts of laughter.

He went mad, tireless, fighting relentlessly from two months ago until today. Wave after wave of demons fell, but he never stopped.

Why kill? He forgot; he only knew that killing was pleasurable and enjoyable.

He follows his heart.

He looks very different from two months ago.

His bright red eyes seemed to be filled with violence and blood, his face had become somewhat cold and stern, his hands had long fingernails, and his jet-black robe made him look even more eerie.

A faint black aura floated around his body, exuding an aura that kept strangers at bay.

With a "hiss," as the final sword strike landed, all the demons were wiped out.

“Again,” he said, picking up a demon’s arm, tearing off a piece of flesh, and chewing it in his mouth with the air of a demon general.

"Come on again!" he shouted, brandishing his sword and slashing at the air, blurring the lines between illusion and reality.

Mo Youming's figure also appeared at this moment. He looked at Sui Xin with great satisfaction and clapped his hands, "Hmm~, not bad."

He glanced at him sideways, and without thinking twice, he drew his sword and swung it.

Mo Youming easily grasped the situation and laughed, "Hey, can I say a few words?"

Sui Xin acted as if he hadn't heard, released his sword, and threw a punch.

"Is he really possessed?" Mo Youming murmured, clenching his fist.

He then smiled and said, "Just right."

After saying that, he disappeared, leaving Sui Xin with a blank expression.

He stood motionless in the wind, as if deep in thought.

who I am?

Sui Xin explored his identity in his mind, but just as he was about to get to the answer, a black mist covered him.

It is a demonic, wild, brutal, greedy, and belligerent nature.

Almost instantly, he stopped thinking and remained in a state of complete ignorance, focused solely on fighting.

Although he still has thoughts now, they are obscured by demonic nature, making it almost the same as not having any, just like the demons we saw in the war between good and evil.

...

"Follow your heart," suddenly, a voice that was both incredibly familiar and impossible to recall rang out behind me.

Sui Xin turned around with a puzzled look on her face, looking at the familiar girl in front of her, and for the first time, she felt conflicted.

He wanted to rush up and kill her with a single sword stroke, to eat her flesh and drink her blood, but a deep-seated obsession told him he couldn't hurt her.

“Sui Xin, don’t you remember me?” Xi Yun chuckled, her ethereal voice ringing out once more.

Sui Xin grinned, drew his sword, and walked over, uttering a low, menacing word: "Kill."

His animalistic instincts overcame his obsessions, and he was about to make his move.

He walked up to "Xi Yun" and casually raised his sword above his head.

After a moment's hesitation, the longsword fell...

Mo Youming watched from the sky, shook his head, and felt a little regretful, as if he had guessed the ending.

Human love, in the end, cannot overcome anything.

At this moment, he was somewhat disappointed, and his eyes lost focus.

"Clang!" A sound rang out the instant the sword fell.

Suddenly, boundless black energy surged from his body, enveloping Xi Yun with his heart at the center.

The longsword landed steadily on the black mist, unable to penetrate even an inch.

Then, all the black energy surged out, and Sui Xin's body regained its smoothness.

The surging black energy slowly gathered on Xi Yun's body, condensed into a physical form, and finally took on Xi Yun's appearance.

Although it was all black, it was still incredibly exquisite, and every smile and frown was like a gentle spring breeze.

Sui Xin instantly regained her senses, dropped the sword, and staggered backward, falling to the ground, panting heavily, her face pale.

What did I do?

Looking at Xi Yun before him, he felt incredibly guilty, tears welling up in his eyes, and he dared not look at her any longer.

Did they almost kill Yun'er?

Clearly, he had forgotten that this was an illusion and was still immersed in the scene where he had almost killed Xi Yun.
