After washing and getting dressed, they stepped out of the pool. The once bright red water had become almost transparent, and their faces were even more rosy, perhaps from the bathwater, or perhaps something else...
"Yun'er, are you not angry?" Sui Xin walked over and asked softly, looking at Xi Yun's flushed face.
"No," Xi Yun looked up and smiled, her expression lively and adorable.
She opened her arms, indicating that she wanted him to continue carrying her, saying, "You are the one I love, so how could I blame you?"
With a gentle smile, he picked up Xiyun and carried her on his back, his eyes full of doting affection, without saying anything more.
Come to think of it, Xiyun knows me best. She knows exactly what I want and what I like. If I did those things without her permission, I would be beaten to death.
Speaking of which, when are Mom and Dad coming back? I miss them a little...
Let's go!
Without saying anything more, the two quickly followed the little snake and continued walking inside.
What appeared to be a wall was just as Sui Xin was wondering.
The snake slithered into a narrow crevice in the middle, and with a click, as if a lock had been opened, the wall slid open to both sides.
Accompanying this was a golden light and an incomparably abundant spiritual energy.
Almost instantly, the two broke through at the same time.
Xi Yun was originally at the third level, but in the past few months in this place with abundant spiritual energy, she has still broken through to the fourth level even without deliberately cultivating.
Just now, he broke through from the fourth rank to the fifth rank.
The same applies to Sui Xin; his cultivation level jumped directly from the fifth rank to the sixth rank.
As the light faded, the two looked at each other and saw the joy in each other's eyes.
Looking further inside, the most eye-catching feature is the magnificent dragon-shaped statue in the center.
The statue is very tall, probably over a hundred meters. Every detail, from the dragon scales on its body to the fine whiskers, is depicted with lifelike realism, as if a real dragon has manifested. Its aura is extremely extraordinary, completely different from any Divine Origin Realm cultivator I have ever seen.
If the divine essence is a star, then the giant dragon before us is the bright moon; they cannot be compared or discussed in the same breath.
He seems a bit like Elder Long and the others, possessing a powerful aura that transcends the world.
They were so engrossed in watching that they were both drawn to the enormous object before them.
Suddenly, for some reason, Sui Xin felt a sense of familiarity, as if she had seen it before, but she couldn't quite place it.
As Sui Xin observed the dragon statue, she slowly raised her head. The moment her eyes met the statue's, a bright light shone in her eyes, and the dragon's eyes did the same, as if they were echoing each other.
Immediately afterwards, the two beams of light met, and obscure, pale golden runes emanated from the dragon's eye, disappearing into Sui Xin's eyes.
As Sui Xin slowly came to her senses, her eyes brightened, and she seemed even more extraordinary than before.
Hearing Xi Yun's call, her voice filled with worry, she asked, "Sui Xin, are you alright?"
"Don't worry, Yun'er, I'm fine," Sui Xin comforted her.
“I know where this is,” Sui Xin continued. “When I left, didn’t I have a dream? This is it.”
The runes that entered Sui Xin's eyes unlocked that memory, causing him to recall the events of his dream once again.
"What happened in your dream?" Xi Yun asked, eager to know as well, fearing something might have happened to Sui Xin.
After a moment's thought, I realized, "Perhaps it wasn't a dream. I saw one top expert after another perish, I saw the end of a world, and the terrifying aura sent chills down my spine."
He said this sullenly.
He understood why he had been startled awake; almost everything in the dream was beyond his comprehension.
There is a giant dragon that stretches as far as the eye can see, and a giant whose body is comparable to the sun and moon.
Dozens of enormous creatures were wrestling together.
They seemed to be divided into two camps, and the battle ended with the fall of one side.
Sui Xin felt that those people could no longer be described as strong; a single move from them was enough to destroy the world. With a wave of their hand, even a giant dragon turned to dust.
Let Xi Yun tell you all about it.
The dragon before me was one of the many powerful beings who had fallen in my dream, only its body was countless times smaller.
"In this life, you have finally appeared, and you have finally come together," a voice entered their minds, sounding somewhat weak.
Then, the light from the longan gradually converged, accompanied by a sound.
As the light faded, the figure of a middle-aged man appeared, clad in dark gold armor, with two dragon horns on his head. He looked imposing, and his long red hair fluttered in the wind behind him.
His deep eyes were particularly striking, somewhat resembling Sui Xin's eyes, yet tinged with a hint of sadness.
Looking at the man, Sui Xin and the other person were completely taken aback. They had no memory of this person at all and did not know what he meant.
Did he already know I would come?
Sui Xin thought about many things. The Dragon Elder once said that he had ancient dragon blood, and it was extraordinary. The man in front of him was obviously a dragon. Could it be that he and the man had some connection?
Before Suixin could speak, the space beside the man shattered with a roar, and then the figure of a little girl gradually solidified from being transparent.
"You, you are Xiaoyun'er?" Sui Xin exclaimed in surprise the moment she saw the girl.
He turned to look at Xiyun again, thankfully she hadn't fainted.
I remember last time, Xiaoyun said that only one consciousness of the same individual can exist in one world, but this time it seems a little different.
"This is inside my body, so there's no problem with coexisting consciousness," the man explained, noticing Sui Xin's confusion.
The little girl was overjoyed to see Suixin. Although only one fragment of the primordial spirit could awaken at a time, their consciousnesses were interconnected. When one died, the other would inherit the previous memories and awaken again.
It's been more than half a year since I last saw Suixin at Tianxu Mountain, and I miss her very much.
