The moment the sword gate opened, Jian Jun was exploring beside the giant mountain in the middle.
However, there was a barrier outside, which even a cultivator at the Divine Origin Realm could not shake in the slightest.
His face was full of worry, wondering how Xiyun was doing.
Suddenly, I felt an extremely peculiar sword intent emanating from the barrier.
His cultivation level actually broke through at this moment, and the boundless sword intent spread outwards like seawater.
Jian Jun was also stunned. He had accumulated enough knowledge, but he lacked a bit of insight and a bit of opportunity.
The Divine Origin Realm is different from other realms; each breakthrough requires self-reflection.
I originally thought it would take more than ten years, but I didn't expect to break through today.
Jian Jun thought to himself.
That feeling is still lingering in my heart, and I don't know if I can hold onto it.
Without time to think further, Jianjun sat cross-legged on the ground and began to recall.
......
Stepping through the gate, I finally saw everything clearly.
The surrounding area looked very empty, with hardly any decorations.
Two antique boxes float in the middle, one square and the other more slender, their surfaces enveloped in a faint halo of light, seemingly quite extraordinary.
"The square box is for Suixin, and the rectangular box is for Xiyun," Fifth Brother said, watching the two of them.
"Don't go get it yet," Fifth Brother continued as Sui Xin stepped forward.
With a calm smile, he said, "I don't have much time left, and I'm glad to see you all again."
"Huh? Are you leaving?" Sui Xin was taken aback and quickly asked.
Although we didn't talk much and only spent a day or two together, I always felt a sense of familiarity and warmth. Even though we had never met before, there was no sense of distance between us.
"Yes," Fifth Brother nodded, "I've been waiting for you all here. Now that you're here, it's time for me to go."
"Before we part, I have one more gift to give you," Fifth Brother said, as a crystal-like stone slab appeared in his palm.
Looking at the stone slab, one could see the scene from before when Suixin was holding Xiyun's hand and carrying Xiaoyun as a child.
The scene is warm and beautiful.
It was exactly the same situation as the three people from before.
The crystal slab floated in front of the three people, and they were all somewhat tempted by the scene inside.
I never expected that Fifth Brother, who seems like a grown man, would have such a thoughtful side.
"Xiao Yun'er's life has been very hard, so spend more time with her when you meet her," Fifth Brother said with a smile as his body slowly dissipated in the air.
He nodded casually; he would have done it even if Fifth Brother hadn't told him to.
"As for Xiyun, do you remember the questions I asked you? You may have to face them someday in the future. Remember the promise you made to Xiyun."
"Yes, I will," Sui Xin said, holding Xi Yun's hand tightly.
"Will we ever meet again?" Sui Xin asked, watching Fifth Brother gradually disappear.
"I think so, I'm really looking forward to it..."
The sound and the figure vanished without a trace...
...
Sui Xin and Xi Yun seemed somewhat downcast, as if a close friend had left.
"Oh, don't be sad. He's about the same age as me. He won't really die," Xiao Yun'er said, nestled in Sui Xin's arms.
Although it was meant as persuasion, the disappointment in his tone was hard to hide.
She's leaving too...
Looking at the three people on the crystal plate and the two people in front of her, she was also very reluctant, but there was nothing she could do; this was her mission.
As she watched, Xiaoyun finally couldn't hold back anymore, and tears welled up in her eyes.
Just like the previous Fifth Brother, his body slowly dissipated and floated into the long, narrow box.
Sensing Xiaoyun'er's unusual behavior, Suixin guessed what was going on.
"Little Yun'er, are you leaving too?" Sui Xin said softly, stroking Little Yun'er's hair, her voice full of melancholy.
"Mm," Xiaoyun nodded, forcing a smile, "Parting is a normal part of life, don't be sad, we'll meet again."
Beside her, Xi Yun looked at Xiao Yun'er, feeling equally distressed.
The little girl was beautiful and cute. Seeing her crying and about to leave, Xi Yun felt only reluctance, even though she was supposedly from a past life, and even though the two of them had just been arguing.
"Can I hug you?" Xi Yun suddenly asked Xiao Yun'er.
Xiao Yun'er was taken aback, then smiled, opened her arms, and nodded, "Mm."
Xi Yun smiled calmly, stepped forward and hugged Xiao Yun'er, resting her chin on her shoulder.
She was very small, no different from an ordinary child.
"I really am a little reluctant to part with it," Xi Yun whispered.
"Yes, me too."
Xiao Yun felt comfortable and at ease in Xi Yun's embrace, just like Sui Xin.
“So it really is me and you are you,” Xiao Yun’er said, hugging Xi Yun’s neck.
Even if it was a past life, the lives were different, how could it be the same person?
She envied Xiyun, envied that Xiyun could always be with Suixin and enjoy all of Suixin's love.
But she also sincerely wished Xiyun well, hoping that the two of them could stay together for a long time.
"When we meet again, please let Suixin spend more time with me," Xiaoyun said to Xiyun with a smile.
“Yes, I look forward to seeing you again next time,” Xi Yun replied.
After saying that, Xiao Yun'er glanced at Sui Xin one last time, then her body completely disappeared, and the last ray of light fell into Xi Yun's brow.
Time flew by, and within an hour, Fifth Brother and Xiaoyun'er left one after the other. The two behind the door were listless and showed no interest in the two boxes on top.
Sui Xin walked over to Xi Yun and pulled her to sit down in the corner.
Is parting the norm?
Thinking of Xiaoyun'er's last words, Sui Xin was filled with emotion.
I didn't realize it at first, but now that I think about it, it really is true.
When I was a child, I parted ways with my best friend Zhang Tie, and it has been thirteen years since then. I haven't seen him since, and I don't know how he is doing now.
