The two of them stared at each other for quite a while. Sui Xin patted his forehead, feeling somewhat dazed.
The little grass also realized what was happening, flew over and circled around Suixin twice, then returned to Ye Suixin and waved a leaf to signal her to look at her.
Ye Suixin asked, puzzled, "Do you know how to get out?"
The blades of grass swayed up and down, nodding their heads.
"Really?" Sui Xin jumped up excitedly upon receiving an affirmative answer.
Looking at Suixin in front of her, Xiaocao felt that he was still the same, lively and cheerful.
Sui Xin pinched a leaf of grass and continued, "Then tell me how to get back quickly, I can't wait."
Without hesitation, the little grass flew towards Ye Suixin's back, remembering that the way home was right behind Ye Suixin.
Sui Xin quickly followed, only to find out that she had gone the wrong way from the very beginning, which made her want to laugh.
A person and a blade of grass walked on their way home.
I walked quite a distance earlier, and it will probably take another day to walk back.
As for flying, he tried, but he couldn't fly.
"By the way, have you been here the whole time?" Sui Xin asked. He couldn't stand being silent for so long, and now that he finally had someone to listen.
The grass shook its head.
"Then where did you come from? Did you come here specifically to save me?" Ye Suixin continued to ask.
The little grass thought for a moment, not knowing how to tell him the answer, so it used its leaf to write in the air, "Yes, I came from outside."
Ye Suixin was pleasantly surprised, "Then do you know my mother and the others?"
“Yes, it was your mother and the others who sent me,” Xiaocao continued writing.
Are they all alright?
"Hmm, very good."
...
We talked a lot about Lu Yeling and Ye Hao, but didn't mention Xi Yun.
Little Grass also started acting strangely. Why didn't he ask me? Had he forgotten me? Xi Yun's mind raced with wild thoughts, and finally she couldn't help but write it down: "Don't you have a younger sister named Xi Yun?"
"Yeah, what's wrong?"
"Then why don't you ask her how she is?" Xiaocao seemed a little anxious.
Ye Suixin thought for a moment, then smiled, "I want to ask her myself. I don't want to miss anything about Yun'er."
He felt an endless longing for his parents. But he didn't know what to feel about Ye Xiyun; it seemed he wanted to imprint everything about her in his mind.
Upon hearing Ye Suixin's reply, the little grass momentarily forgot to continue its journey. It felt a little flustered, yet couldn't help feeling happy.
"Why did you stop walking?" Ye Suixin asked, turning back as she walked past the dazed little grass.
"By the way, who exactly are you? I don't recognize this grass, but I sense a familiar aura about you."
The little grass realized what had happened, shook its leaves, didn't write anything, and continued walking forward. Ye Suixin didn't press the matter; perhaps she didn't want to tell him.
...
The two walked slowly, and the light in front of them became clearer and clearer.
Suddenly, a warm light passed over the two of them, and Sui Xin felt as if she had entered another world. A familiar feeling came over her, and when she opened her eyes, she saw Lu Yeling and an unfamiliar woman.
"Sui Xin, you're finally awake!" Lu Yeling cried out excitedly, hugging the big boy in front of her.
"Mom, I miss you so much too," Sui Xin said, hugging Lu Yeling tightly, feeling the warmth of her mother's love. Seeing this, Liang Jing smiled calmly and disappeared from the spot.
After the two cried for a while, Lu Yeling said, "Suixin, are you hungry? Come on, let's go eat first." As she spoke, she tried to pull Ye Suixin out.
Ye Suixin also got out of bed, but when she turned her head and saw Xi Yun lying next to her with a not-so-good complexion, all her thoughts disappeared.
After many years, Xi Yun had changed a lot, but Sui Xin could still tell at a glance.
Looking at the girl before him, a strange flutter of emotion welled up within him. For five years, he had missed her terribly, and seeing her again today left him somewhat dazed, even forgetting how to walk.
Lu Yeling noticed this too, and patted Suixin on the shoulder, "Yun'er is a little tired, don't disturb her. I'll go downstairs and talk to you later, let's go."
Sui Xin nodded, somewhat reluctantly looking away, and followed him downstairs.
At the dining table, Lu Yeling brought out the dumplings she had made: "These are new ones that I learned to make. Try them and see if they taste good." She would make some every now and then, eat them after a while, and then make more to make sure that Ye Suixin would have fresh dumplings to eat when she came back.
Ye Suixin nodded, picked one up and put it in her mouth. The rich aroma stimulated her taste buds. "Mmm~, delicious, it's Mom's cooking."
Lu Yeling couldn't stop smiling when she heard that.
Just then, the door opened, and Ye Hao, looking somewhat disheveled, rushed in, clutching a herb in his hand, which he had searched for a long time to find.
Upon entering, seeing the two people sitting at the dining table, she was momentarily incredulous. The herbs in her hand trembled and fell to the ground. Her voice trembled as she asked, "This... son?"
Upon seeing Ye Hao, Sui Xin couldn't hold back any longer and immediately ran over, "Dad, I'm back."
Ye Hao opened his arms and hugged the boy who was about the same height as him. He could hardly believe it, and tears welled up in his eyes.
After a while, Lu Yeling joked, "Alright, you two grown men are even more pretentious than me." She pulled the two of them to the dining table and made them sit down.
"Mother, what's going on with me? And what's wrong with Yun'er?" Ye Suixin asked, puzzled. He had thought he was dead, but now that he was alive, he was naturally full of questions.
"This all started with the war between good and evil. Do you remember the longevity lock you always wore around your neck?" Lu Yeling asked, while Ye Hao listened from the side.
Ye Suixin nodded. When he was a child, he thought the lock was too troublesome and wanted to throw it away, but Lu Yeling kept emphasizing that he should keep it with him. Over time, he got used to the lock's presence.
