Chapter 51 The Little Girl and Xiyun

Sui Xin frowned, looking at Xiao Yun'er in front of her, unable to bring herself to do it. "Isn't there any other way?"

"No, I've never met you before, how could I not be able to do it?" A voice, tinged with self-deprecation and skepticism, rang out.

Sui Xin, her face pale, shook her head. "Even if you are just Yun'er from my past life, looking at you makes me think of the little Yun'er from before, and all the happy moments I shared with Yun'er when we were little. How can you expect me to do this?"

Yes, five years have passed too quickly. I haven't even had a chance to see her yet, and the two of us have grown up. Looking at Xiaoyun in front of me, I feel a mix of emotions.

"Damn it, I've already told you, I'm not her, my name isn't Ye Xiyun," the little girl said angrily, not knowing why she suddenly hated being called Yun'er.

After a moment of silence, Sui Xin continued, "Do you want me to kill you and keep Xi Yun, or do you want me to let you leave?"

The girl smiled and asked in return, "If I said I wanted to leave, and Xiyun would never wake up again, would you let me go?"

"No, but I can sense that you won't leave. You want Xiyun to live."

"Tch, don't be so self-important. What I want to do is none of your business," the little girl sneered.

Sui Xin stopped talking and continued to hold Xi Yun beside him. He was faced with a dilemma: what should he do? He was extremely conflicted.

"Actually, there's another way, but I don't know if you'd be willing."

Sui Xin was taken aback. "What? Tell me about it."

Do you know how this canyon came to be?

"What does this have to do with saving Yun'er?" Sui Xin asked, puzzled.

As if she hadn't heard him, the little girl continued, "Heavenly Sword Valley was destroyed by people from outside the realm. Deep within the valley lies a Divine Sword Intent. If we can obtain that sword intent, we can separate my and Xiyun's consciousnesses, and neither of us will die."

"real?"

"Believe it or not, the danger is unimaginable. Let me put it this way, the difficulty of getting from here to the innermost part of the valley is several times greater than the journey you just made. Whether you go or not is up to you."

"Okay, I believe you. Is there a time limit?" Sui Xin's eyes lit up.

Some things are worth losing, while others are things we're unwilling to part with. We should try no matter what.

"There are no restrictions, but you have to take both of us with you to separate our consciousnesses," the little girl said, her eyes seeming to dart away as she finished speaking.

"Huh? Don't you know how to fly?" Sui Xin asked, puzzled. Carrying two people would be much more difficult.

The little girl waved her hand, "Ahem, now that I've materialized, my spiritual power is almost exhausted, so I don't have any special abilities. I'm just like any other ordinary child."

"Or I could temporarily control Xi Yun's body. We share the same origin, so it shouldn't be a problem, although I wouldn't be able to use any of my abilities."

"Won't that harm Yun'er?"

"No, I'm just temporarily residing inside her body."

Remain silent as you please.

There was a hint of conspiracy in her eyes, but it seemed unnecessary. If she wanted to harm Yun'er, she would have done so when he was already weakened.

"Okay, I'll trust you one more time."

"That's right, but you have to protect me, okay?" The little girl seemed quite happy, and her speech was no longer as mature as before; her tone was more like that of a child.

Sui Xin smiled. For a moment just now, he seemed to see Xi Yun from her childhood again, that cute little girl. "No problem, Xiao Yun'er."

Surprisingly, the little girl didn't dislike being called Xiyun.

The little girl in front of them slowly became transparent, and a stream of silvery-white energy flowed from the top of the girl's head to Xi Yun in Sui Xin's arms.

A faint white light emanated from Xi Yun's body, and she opened her eyes the next second.

"Put me down first, let me adjust to my body," Xi Yun's voice came, still as clear and crisp as ever.

"oh oh"

She stood up from Sui Xin's arms, hopped around barefoot, and a faint smile on her lips showed that she was very happy.

Then I felt a little dazed, experiencing my grown-up body for the first time, and it was a wonderful feeling.

"How about it, are we ready to go?"

Sui Xin had already changed her clothes.

"Oh, let's go, carry me."

"ah?"

"Ahem, I just couldn't use my abilities, don't overthink it. I didn't mean for you to hug me." Xi Yun blushed and quickly explained.

"Okay, okay, I know," Sui Xin smiled. Children are so innocent; their thoughts are written all over their faces. It's like they've given themselves away without being asked.

Then he walked up to Xiyun and carried her in a princess carry. "How is it? It's so nice to have someone to serve you. You don't even have to walk anymore."

It felt so good, a feeling I'd never experienced before. It was the first time I'd felt the warmth of someone else.

Xi Yun remained silent, quietly experiencing everything that was happening.

He consumed a considerable amount of Rejuvenation Pills and Restoration Pills, and while walking, he circulated the True Phoenix Technique, and his injuries were almost healed.

"Get ready, there's another sword formation 500 meters ahead, about twice as strong as the previous one," Xi Yun said in her arms, her slender fingers pointing in the air.

"Um",

Sui Xin appeared somewhat serious. He knew the power of those sword formations; the previous two had given him a major headache, and this one was even more formidable. More importantly, this made it difficult to guarantee Xi Yun's safety.

"If I leave you outside, can I go in by myself?"

“No, the sword formation will automatically lock onto anyone who enters. If we separate, two sword formations will appear directly,” Ye Xiyun explained.

"Okay, don't worry, I'll do my best to protect you. Don't be afraid," Sui Xin said softly, looking at Xi Yun as if comforting a child.
