Chapter 144 Human Demon

She will be released naturally in twenty days.

Now it's just the two of them left.

"Don't worry, I haven't changed your conversation," the man explained, looking at Sui Xin.

"Who are you? Why did you leave me here?" Sui Xin asked, pretending not to care, as she plopped down on the ground.

"Have you heard of the Demon Man?" the man asked, his previous mockery gone.

He shook his head casually.

"So you think all demons are bad people?" the man asked again.

"Isn't that right?"

"Hmph, you've only seen a demon once, what do you know?" the man sneered.

It's as if they've seen through everything.

"How do you know I've only seen a demon once?" Sui Xin asked, puzzled. It was a bad feeling to be seen through.

The man did not answer Sui Xin's question. "Like humans, not all demons are bad, but due to racial prejudice, demons believe that all humans are bad, and most humans also believe that all demons are bad. Thus, the war between good and evil was born."

"Among them, a very small group sandwiched between the two races is called the Human-Demon, the offspring of the human race and the demon race."

Because human-demon beings generally possess exceptional talent, both humans and demons have cultivated a group of human-demon beings during the great war, teaching them to kill and transforming them into emotionless and painless weapons of war. I am one of them.

Fortunately, I didn't lose my mind like them and still had my own emotions. The humans knew I was conscious and highly skilled, so they treated me very politely, making countless promises about defeating the demons.

After the great war ended, I thought I could finally live a peaceful life, like a human. But I never expected that the humans would try to kill us all as demons, turning their backs on us.

I ran away desperately, and even though I was already at the peak of the Xuan Yuan realm, I was still cut down by them. They thought I was dead, but they didn't expect that I had found an ancient tomb and was recuperating right under their noses.

The man said a lot, his eyes full of disappointment, but also revealing a hint of ferocity, "Although I have never been to the demon realm, I don't think humans are much stronger than demons. They are all the same."

Sui Xin was also shocked, never expecting that there was such a story between the two races in order to win the victory.

No wonder I've never heard of such a thing. Even ancient texts wouldn't dare to record it casually, as it would completely ruin my reputation.

"So, you're opening this secret realm now because you're thinking of taking revenge on the human race?" Sui Xin asked.

"Revenge? Maybe."

The man looked at Suixin and slowly walked over. "I mainly want to see if, after all these years, the human race is still as evil as before. I will only proceed with the next step after seeing the result."

With a wave of his hand, a huge light screen appeared in front of Sui Xin, displaying thousands of figures scattered across smaller images.

Upon closer inspection, just like themselves, each of the scenes featured a man in a black robe sitting next to them, talking to them.

She glanced around and spotted Jian Feng and Xiao Xue. She stood up, turned to the man, and said angrily, "Hey, you arrested them all? What are you trying to do?"

"Didn't I say? I want to see if the human race is still so bad today," the man said, then looked at Sui Xin with a wicked smile, "and also want to see if the demon race has both good and bad."

"Also, my name isn't Hey, it's Mo Youming."
